What's new in Havoc OS 3.12:
• Merged December Security Patch
• Added translations for a few languages
• Other fixes and improvements
Few bugs that we're aware of and are currently in the works of fixing:
Most pre-installed Google Apps do malfunction and crash. A few instances are: Pixel Setup not launching, therefore it won't prompt for your preferred carrier, WiFi, security settings and all that stuff. Also, the home button to the pre-installed Pixel Launcher will not work. This can be fixed by installing NikGapps Stock (Full NikGapps will fail installation due to space) via TWRP. It's recommended to flash it right before booting into Havoc for the 1st time.

This can be fixed by re-setting the wallpaper. What you need to do is: Press and hold on the main screen, click "Styles & wallpapers" and select your desired wallpaper if you do so, otherwise select the default tropical forest wallpaper. After setting it for both home and lock screens, you should be golden.
The bugs section will be updated once we receive and/or find more bugs.

Make sure you back up as much of your data as possible because by unlocking the bootloader on your phone will restore MIUI to its factory settings, thereby losing your apps and all settings, but your internal storage will still be intact, but it's good practice to back it up just in case.
Make sure your phone is bootloader unlocked with TWRP recovery flashed. Here is the one I use.
Now that we're successfully in TWRP, in case if you can't decrypt the files (personally I tried with OrangeFox and many other unofficial TWRP variants but no luck), you'll have to go to the home screen, click on "Wipe", "Format Data" and type "yes". This will delete your MIUI ROM and pretty much all data within the phone, but your file system will be decrypted.
Now that our phone is decrypted, start flashing using the following order: 1) Havoc OS 3.12, 2) Magisk (optional, for rooting your ROM), 3) NikGapps Stock, 4) Mi 8 Lite Firmware. After flashing everything, click on Wipe Cache/Dalvik and you're now ready to boot into the OS. Enjoy!
Spoiler: Installation (upgrade from HavocOS 3.9)
Make sure you back up your boot, data, system, system image/vendor, pretty much your entire ROM, in case you want to restore. This is an unofficial release, therefore expect many of the bugs above or more. You can find the backup section in TWRP by clicking on the "Backup" button on the home screen.
In TWRP, click on "Wipe", "Advanced Wipe", then select Dalvik/ART Cache, Cache & System. Then swipe to wipe these three.
Now that these are wiped, start flashing using the following order: 1) Havoc OS 3.12, 2) Magisk (optional, for rooting your ROM), 3) NikGapps Stock, 4) Mi 8 Lite Firmware. After flashing everything, click on Wipe Cache/Dalvik and you're now ready to boot into the OS. Enjoy!

3.12 includes the new December 2020 security patch and translations for some languages. There's also some bug fixes over 3.9, and 3.12 has some bugs that the developer has already addressed and are in the works of fixing.

TWRP Install process
1. install MiFlash from https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=961840155545596430
2. turn off the phone.
3. press volume UP+Down+Power and immediately plug to PC.
4. lunch MiFlash and press "refresh" and confirm your phone detected.
5. press "browse" and set "twrp" folder.
6. press "flash" to flash twrp.

Flash above TWRP and transfer this recovery to device via USB and flash in TWRP menu. this is optional and no need.
there might be a bug that adb/sideload connection gets offline. file transffering works.

I use Coolpad R116 in which the installed version from 23.08 did not work sounds.
I checked with me did not work upload files via recovery: "los16sound2files.stereo.zip" and "los16sound2files.zip" from the group on TELEGRAM. There are still no sounds. In addition, I rummaged in the files, so I decided to upload everything from the beginning.
Currently, after installing the "PixelExperience_c106-9.0-20190824-0338-UNOFFICIAL.zip" version, the sounds work after downloading the "patch + for + c106r + 116c + 103x09.zip" patch.
However, to exclude mechanical damage to the phone, I restored the official EUI-based ROM (Coolpad_R116_C1-S02_ZHXOSOP5801806023S 0001211) for COOLPAD R116 via qfil software and installed recovery SHRP 2.1 versions from the file "c106_shrp_v2.1.zip" via TWRP .Sounds work on it.

In this version I have a problem saving my fingerprint. Saves only one press while saving a "pattern"
I do not know if this is due to a change in the EUI version ...
All problems resolved when I restored the PERSIST partition

If you have R116 or Le3, please tell me their hwid. It is displayed when device is connected to PC in bootloader mode. It helps that rom can recognize its device variant.

Have zuk z2 drivers installed correctly
Enable usb debugging, connect the device to the note or pc open the command prompt or shell and type:
adb devices
adb reboot bootloader
fastboot flash recovery -i 0x2b4c twrp-3.2.2.img
restart in recovery mode and proceed with the installation of the build
Wipe system
Wipe data
Wipe Cache
Wipe Davilk Cache
Wipe Vendor
Install the ROM's zip and wait for the restart
Note If TWRP hangs when restarting hold the Power button until forced restart
Configure the ROM until it arrives at the home
Wait for the device to cool and update Google apps
Go to settings / screen & fonts / system fonts Size / small
Go to Settings/Go to Settings/ about this Phone / system version and enable developer options
Go to Settings / advanced settings / Option Developers/disable edge error detection
This step 2 above fix the bug on the keyboard due to the invisible notch
To receive notifications in apps go to Settings / notifications center / Click on the desired
application and enable everything
Go to Phone Manager Go to Phone Manager / Permissions Manager / auto launching Permissions
manager and enable the desired application
Go to Phone Manager/Power optimization / APP battery Use Optimization / Disable the app you
want notifications to arrive

I was tested this ROM about 3 days and I must say it's great work by @jackjt3, thanx:good:. ROM is very smooth and almost bugless, expect Bluetooth headphones issue (can't connect to device) and Nighttime mode. I hope you could fix this unpleasent moments in the next build of SmartisanOS

After flashing 3.2.2 getting fladh error and in pc mode i cant flash

First time installing crDroid to your ENTER-PHONE-NAME, or coming from another ROM: <--THESE MAY NEED UPDATING FOR YOUR PARTICULAR DEVICE; BE THOROUGH IN INSTRUCTIONS-->
** Make sure you're running a proper working Recovery (CWM or TWRP)
1) Copy crDroid zip, gapps zip <--& vendor img, if applicable--> to your device
2) Boot into Recovery
3) Wipe cache, system, & data (or just cache & system for a dirty flash).
4) Flash ROM
8) Flash gapps
9) Boot up
Note: - Don't wipe vendor
For root, AFTER you boot into the ROM, you can go back to recovery and install Magisk XX.x (whatever is most recent).
Upgrading from earlier version of crDroid:
The only difference between clean flash as above and upgrading is you just wipe system & cache, leaving data. Everything else is the same. ***Remember to always clean flash before reporting problems. Clean flashing is always the best method of ROM install.

The rom is not booting in RMX1991. Its getting bootloop (Continuously rebooting).Any fix?
Many thanks for the ROM! It is first custom ROM for RMX1991 publicly available. Android 9, Security level is February 5, 2020, SELinux is disabled. crDroid version is 5.11.
To me, it looks pretty much not fully baked yet. I cannot connect to the hidden 5GHz Wi-Fi network, default settings like rounded corners, mobile network are not optimal.
My biggest grief - I did not succeed enrolling any finger for the fingerprint sensor. Looks like the sensor is over sensitive, always ends up with "sensor is dirty".
Initially I tried to install it over realmeUI beta (Android 10), it did not work. So I had to flash back A.14 version first and format data partition.
was waiting for it. please work on a performance boosted rom for gaming. ❤
Battery backup is so bad. And many more bugs. I am checking other thinks on this ROM. and thanks the developer for allowing us to test the beta version of crDroid.?

Then you should unzip crDroid Rom files and flash the boot.img via fastboot method use Vbmeta.img command after successfully boot into rom.

Dowload URL fro July patch has been updated
Have been using this rom for a week. Everything is great and snappy. Just found the following issues:
Excessive battery drain even while display is off
Battery stats not showing
Gps not working properly saying gps signal lost while navigating
Finally The rom which runs perfectly in my device, been using this rom for more than a week now, no issues regarding banking apps and all.
Getting a good battery backup (5+ sot on minimal to medium usage) battery drain is there but i think it's my device's hardware issue i guess.
Everything is fine just gcam(any version) is not working and battery stats is not working
Anyone else facing wifi disconnecting issue?
I also can see screen cast is not working
I can't find the boot.img in the rom zip

Catched ota update, magisk is ok, no reflash needed

It probably WILL boot on V11.0.21.0. I had this version on my phone and was trying to run Havoc OS, then Arrow 12, and a few others from this forum. Only crDroid booted.
Then I found this guide where it is stated that you should have 10.0.18.0 for customs roms and after downgrading to this version all tested custom ROMs are booting correctly.
