Blurry uploaded photos - Xiaomi Mi 10T / 10T Pro Questions & Answers

Good day. I have an issue uploading photos with my mi 10t pro upon preview on the gallery images are on high res but when i send them over the internet, messenger and ding talk for example. It uploads the photo very blurry. Can anyone help me fix this? Thanks

Send them as files, not photos. Most messengers like Viber, WhatsApp etc recompress photos and videos to make smaller files...

Google+ and Instagram

Is anyone else having issues with Instagram photos being uploaded via instant upload in Google+?
The photos that are taken with the default camera are automatically uploaded but the photos that are manipulated by Instagram, do not upload. I am moving the pictures from the Instagram folder to the default camera folder with no luck.

[Q] Importing Pictures & videos

Hello,
When I import photos & videos to my PC my phone uploads a lot of junk pictures and advertisement videos. Has anyone else had this problem? I have no idea how these things are getting on my phone. When I go through my gallery on the device I don't see any junk photos or advertising videos, only the photos that I've taken myself. I've attached a screen shot of 2 examples of what is happening to try and better explain my situation. Let me know if anyone can help.
Thank You

How to backup live photos from the G7

Hi,

I decided to try out the live photos function in the camera app as it could be fun to have some short video clips when taking pictures of our dog etc

So, I take the picture and it works well to watch the picture and the video in the inbuilt gallery app. However, the photo backup to Google Photos and Flickr just includes the picture and not the video (or, at least, I can't see the videos on Google Photos or Flickr, it might be included in the uploaded file somehow?)

I tried transferring the picture to my pc too for backup there, but same story again, can only see the picture, not the video.

Anyone know if there's a way to fix this so the video part doesn't disappear when I have to free up space on the phone?
I tried deleting a live photo from the phone and redownload it to the phone to see if I then could view the live part in the gallery again. I could not
I've tried googling for a solution to this for LG phones, but I can't find a thing, just a bunch of stuff for iPhone and Pixel phones.
Got a solution of sorts: If I view the video part in the gallery I get an option in the lower right corner to save it as a video and if I do that, that video uploads to Google Photos etc

Question Reduced photo quality

Something not clear with Fold4. I had Flip3, my wife with iPhone 13 Pro sometimes sent pictures to erase objects on it (I really like the feature in the Samsung gallery). Used Skype, WhatsApp or Messenger. Photos always came in the same format and size as the original.
Now the question itself:
under the same scenarios on Fold4, photos arrive with reduced quality when sent, the photo is sent 2.5-3mb, and 615kb is already received on fold4. The settings have not changed. And I would understand if in one of the messengers, but so in all. Someone can check?
Got to be he source, not destination. Something on the source side is doing it, try just airdrop them over (get airdrop for Android)
