Galaxy S20+ | 2 days old and already battery wear level / health of 89% ?! - Samsung Galaxy S20 / S20+ / S20 Ultra Questions &

Hello,
I bought the Galaxy S20+ 2 days ago and apps already show me an estimated battery wear level / health of ~89% or 3908 mAh.
Apps I've tested:
AccuBattery Pro:
89%, 3908 mAh | Design-Capacity = 4370 mAh
Capacity Info:
93,2% 4075 mAh
Phone Info Samsung:
94%
Obviously they all calculate with the capacity of 4370 mAh and not with 4500 mAh, which I can still understand.
But what I don't understand is why the residual capacity 2 days after buying the phone is already 6-11% less than it should be.
Is this a reason for a warranty claim?
I bought in on Amazon from Amazon.
Thank you very much.
Flo

Ok, it's getting better and better now. AccuBattery is now showing 4317mAh / 4370mAh (would be 98,8%), yesterday even above 4400mAh, and now shows health of 92% and rising. I guess the calculation was just very unprecise and gets better every day.

Battery life improvement after diy replacement

I have had this phone for around 17 months now. Accubattery was showing my battery health at 70% and I could barely make it through the day without multiple battery topups through the day.
I finally bought a replacement OEM battery off AliExpress. After having used it for 2 weeks,I can say the results are so much better.
I am running the weekly Lineage OS 15 rom.
What is the real capacity of that battery, did you measure it with AccuBattery? And give us link of the store

Accubattery battery capacity hovers between 97 - 100% of the original values
Bought the battery from here :

The tools provided to open the phone were a bit flimsy and took a bit of effort. I followed a YouTube video to see how to replace the battery

XZ2 compact battery capacity

I only see 2760 mAh instead of the advertised 2870 mAh.
What about yours?
Where do you see that?

I got this read out in Ampere but also in some other apps. Now, I have to experience with the android SDK and how accurate this readout is (is it estimated or some device constant). But in any case it would be interesting if you get the same or similar number
Battery health test from service menu shows 279900uAh here
EDIT: 2521000 after 11 months (from the previous figure)
EDIT2: 2488000 after another 5 months, aka 18.5 months from purchase
EDIT3: 2384862 after 56 months
2799,000 mAh in battery health check and 2760 mAh in Ampere app.

Looking for a good quality replacement battery

Hi all,
Anyone know of a good quality replacement battery for the Le Max2?
I recently cracked my screen, so now I'm considering replacing both screen and battery.
I charged it today from 0-100% with my battery gizmo reporting just over 2500mAh capacity left in the OEM battery.
So hopefully a decent battery will bring it back to life for another year of use.
85% of my battery is left in the battery.
So I can use it as 2600 mah.
It means there's a 15% loss in 1 year.
Just go to Aliexpress or ebay.com and buy the cheapest you can find. With LeEco dead some spare parts are getting hard to find, like grey screens or camera glass (not the protectors).
Just to report back; I bought one of the cheap 'original' 3100mAh batteries for my le max 2 on AliExpress. After installing it and giving it a few charges, I measured it at 2800mAh.
So not quite the advertised capacity, but more then the 2500mAh I had left in the 2 year old original.
What do you guys think, if I go for "original" 3100 mAh battery I guess I can get Like 2600-2700 real juice. Read the comments on Ali and if I buy extended version that is declared 4400 mAh , I will get real 3100 ...
Anyone bought some specific model recently and measured iz with accu?
Thanx in advance.
Hello guys,
Have you found any battery for le max 2 which has real 4000+ mAh capacity ? Because most of the batteries being sold are scam and only have ~3100 mAh capacities, instead of 4000+.
Thanks.

Buy a battery case instead. Anything for the mate 9 should fit, with some caveats.

Defective battery?

I recently purchased version 4/64 of this mobile, for 223 euros. The point is that Accubateri pro tells me that the battery capacity is 4,300 mah, about 5,000 mah theoretical is this normal? Should I change the phone?

Best to check for the battery life with your "normal" usage. If it is ok for you, keep the battery. If not you can try to optimize battery life, e.g. by using better battery stats app, recording an idle dump and post it in the BBS thread (https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/app-2-2-05-oct-v2-4-betterbatterystats.1179809/). Experts will share tips and tricks to optimize your battery life.
The mAh number alone is not that important IMO.

Galaxy S9 Battery Replacement Performance

Hello XDA .
I had my battery Galaxy S9 Tmobile Version USA qualcomm- professionally replaced about 8 months ago and expected NEW battery performance like first year I owned phone .
NEW - the battery would stay on 100% for about 10 minutes of browsing 4G LTE then slowly go down .
On LTE I got very good SOT keeping brightness at 30% to 35% and SYNC off / not letting Sites and APPS notify me [ no' exciting news 'from Home Depot or FB -lol] .
NEW Battery [ from Ubreak I Fix who installed it nicely ] BUT new battery did not much improve over my 4 year old battery !
The original battery despite heavy use really performed GREAT until about year 4 - despite charging every day or more !
QUESTION - for experts :
'New Battery could have been 4 years old [ it seemed to have about 88% when NEW according to a few battery APPS - versus FACTORY BATTERY when new = 105 % of claimed ?
Anyway - 25% lower than ACTUAL NEW would explain the results I got.
1]Is this because even NEW FACTORY S9 Batteries are actually 5 years old and degraded at this point ?
2] OR Was this just a slightly used battery sold as 'new'?
3] IF I could definitely get a 3000 MAH + TESTED NEW SAMSUNG Battery - I might even try again while I decide if S22 or S20 are worth upgrade.
The S9 has great audio and still rugged and reliable ..
Is there any way to buy a Samsung S9 Battery that has been tested and is truly 3000 MAH or slightly above like the original FACTORY battery ?
Thanks for the expert opinions on this.
How much time on screen do you get with the new battery?
