backup all your data after that follow my steps
1. boot into recovery
2. when you face password just ignore
3. go to advance format from there click on data and format it
4. reboot to recovery.......in advance format click all except sdcard& internal storage & otg section
5. now clean flash any custom rom next time password problem you will not face

i was supposed to do the same process but u cant do the 2nd step which is to ignore and skip that password screen

till now not faced anykind of issue......in this recovery and orangefox recovery.......
but if u faced vendor problem in orangefox recovery just manually mount it...

Thanks for replying. I faced vendor issue in Fox recovery when ever I flash new custom rom. Anyways how this recovery different from Fox recovery? Are Fox backup compatible with this recovery? Thanks once again for all the hard work.

if I want to custom wipe and tick wipe cache and Dalvik

Use OrangeFox Recovery
And
Unmount System, Vendor and Product Before Flashing the ZIP.

i can`t flash with my redmi note 9 pro global joyeuse device it says
assert failed: update_dynamic_partitions(package_extract_file( "dynamic_partitions_op_list"))
using Orange Fox Recovery.
im tried already use PBRP but no luck.

Tried to install this EvolutionX after MIUI ROM?
I checked the "dynamic_partitions_op_list" in ROM, and is a bit is unusual, the "super" partition size not defined. MIUI ROMs often use smaller super partition (~6.5GB), and maybe not enough for total size of partitions (~8.5GB) in this rom.
Try to install any AOSP based rom, than try again to install this EvolutionX.

What i did is first i flashu updated miui firmware then i flash evolutionX after.

Im using CrDroid. What i did is i flash the latest miui firmware and then i flash this evolutionX rom.

my phone is joyeuse, I was never able to flash this rom coming from miui, I was able to flash this rom coming from fluid, I after flashing this rom the phone just stays on boot loop, format data did not work, after flashing this rom, I can no longer flash most of the roms I tested before, I Im back to to full stock counting down till tonight to unlock the boot loader again and keep testing.

Can anyone tell me if this rom includes the miui camera?

No, it doesn't

I was finally able to flash the room, google cam crashed on first open but it works fine after reboot, can you add random mac address, I enable it under developer but seems not to change.

Carrier service stops working.

Yes.. its a daily driver ROM.. since I tested many ROM in Redmi note 9 Pro, but this rom is kind different, no random reboot, No lag issue, Smoot UI.. i didn't faced any bugs still now... That the Great Thing of this ROM..

Your Current Recovery's Issue.
Flash the .img File and then Flash the ZIP From OrangeFox.

Thank you so much ! Been using this since a while and it's far ahead in terms of functionality from the other recoveries available. Hopefully we'll have newer ROMs to flash with OFRP since it makes the process so painless

Are things like backup and restore working?
Is android 11 supported?

I have had issues using this recovery each time I install a new ROM, I just get bootloops. Current install process is as follows:
1. Wipe Data and Cache
2. Install ROM of choice
3. Bootloop
Do I need to remove encryption? I presume the Rom is installed to the correct partition each time.

Majority of the custom roms (A11) aren't still supported by installing through recovery, they have their own recovery from which you should adb sideload. This, I assume, is a work that should be done by the rom developer to support flashing through custom recoveries (like orangefox), nothing much can be done by the devs of the recovery. I can be wrong here, please do correct me if i'm wrong here but this is what I feel.

I think you can Sideload from OrangeFox too.
And, I think you should Format data too.
This Seems an A/B Issue with Dynamic Partitions.

In order to relock the bootloader you have to flash the original ROM that came with the device?

@DarkAngelGR Does this rom have qualcomm voice picker and google voice picker? Do we need to update our firmware and vendor? Are they included?

I installed the ROM but seems that it doesn't have face unlock ...

I mean, you can, but it will brick your device, so be extremely careful of doing so with the ROM that belongs to your device

I know this happens with me as well, i guess that's because Alioth has dynamic partition . There is a YouTube Channel named "Munchy", You can take help from there. He shows how to flash TWRP and Custom Roms without any errors. I believe it'll surely help you as it worked for me...

I could not boot this ROM, it keeps rebooting to fastboot mode.

Did you format Data which you have to type yes.... Make sure you are on RUI 2.0 firmware to properly install this ROM, if not you can refer to X2 telegram group on how to flash A13 rom

Many thanks! This build is working.
The only real issue I have found is charging. It claims to be VOOC charding but is slower then stock: from 24 to 89% in 60 min.
Another things I got used to on LOS but missing it the ROM are: pattern screen lock 4x4, 5x5, etc.; inability to hide navigation hint bar (Gesture navigation).
