How to use battery stats? - Xiaomi Mi 10T / 10T Pro Questions & Answers

Hey there, I was checking my battery stats and...how do you read that? When does it even start? For sure its not from my last charge. But then again, when does it start? I mean, I can see some info about usage time, near some information about Standby time. Can someone please clarify those for me?
Can I see the real.stats ,.from the last full charge?
Thank you very much.

I think you need to look closely at what is actually consuming the power.
Chances are that you have a rogue app that is stopping the phone from sleeping properly.
You can look at the battery stats in Menu->Settings->Phone Info->Battery Use, as this should give you an idea of what is actually using power. You might also want to download Spare Parts as this will give you easy access to additional menu items related to battery usage (e.g. partial wake usage). You can also get to these by entering *#*#4626#*#* in the dialler (*#*#INFO#*#*), but I find Spare Parts more convenient.

Dave

Hi Dave, thanx for the code it's great. However you need to correct it from 4626 to 4636 (INFO on keyboard).

[Q] This may be a simple question I just dont have the simple answer too

What does clearing the battery stats actually do? Im wondering if that is why my battery life hasnt improved after flashing Rom, Kernals doing the battery conditioning. What does it do? Thanks for any input!
Kinda in a very simplified why, it erases the old settings of the battery of like how it charged, and its levels. if you had bad drainage on another rom and not clear it, it could just carry over, so clearing it once its fully charged after flashing a new rom can help.
Awesome I have dove into a lot of things but never actually did this! Duh may help alot going to try this out. Ill wipe all my caches, battery stats and reflash my same ROM and see if that help somethings out

You should only wipe the battery stats once its charged 100%, so that the battery levels can be as accurate as possible,

Never a problem, and sounds good.
Iv'e tried this app it makes it really simple for me because I flash a lot. Just fully charge then from the app one click calibrate, no need to boot up.
If you wanted to read up a little first this link has the info, I think it's in the market too..

Phone Awake

My battery life is not good lately. Someone on here told me to get better battery stats. How do I find out what is keeping my phone awake?

Not sure what ROM you're on, but you usually find it under Settings/Power/Battery Use. This shows a graph of your battery life and a list of programs underneath that have been using the energy.

I believe in better battery stats you let it run for a day or so, then go look at wakelocks and try to decipher what programs are unnecessarily causing them. I tried using the app, but it isn't very clear how to use the data. I would bet there is an xda thread devoted to better battery stats that might give you a rundown, but I don't have a link to one myself.

CM7.2. I did this and my display and voice calls which are always the biggest battery burners were twice as worse as they usually are--which doesn't make sense.
Someone told me that better battery stats would help me resolve the issue so I downloaded it.

+1. I bought it, it's telling me my phone is awake longer than the display is on, but this doesn't help me at all. I need to know what app is causing this.
I remember reading that deep sleep doesn't happen on cyanogenmod in some cases. Can someone confirm this?

i bought BBS and have no idea how to use it lol. i posted a question thread in here but no responses, ohwell :/ waste of 2.49.
K guys, I'm not going to read through this whole thread to help you, so sorry. But here is the devs thread for better battery stats
That should get you started. I imagine there are plenty of people asking how to use it, but again, I'm not reading through it to find out.

For me i never done that. As long as the battery is full don't need to excess the charge time. Because it can make your battery life shorter in some articles i have read

Horrible battery life!

Hey guys,
I bought my new LG G3 two weeks ago, so I think I can tell you something truly about the battery of my LG G3.
At first if all, I have to say,as I have read I thought it could be bad at the beginning of the circles, but now I can't understand the tremendous battery drain.
Maybe I just post the pictures and you will help me understanding it.
As you can see I do have 2,66 hours of sot.. And I have never gotten more than this time...
And this is sucks so hard!
It isn't the 2,5k display it's just android os and Android system
Maybe you can analyze it and help me getting out of frustration

One issue I had dealt with on my other phones (not this one yet) is when you are in areas where service is sometimes spotty, the antenna works hard to try and keep (or search for) a connection. I remember having an older phone drain in under 4 hours from a full charge because of where my job site was located.
My LG G3 gets great battery life so far, but I'm also rooted, bumped, and got rid of bloat/carrierIQ which was chewing up some of my battery.

Before posting another battery life post you really should use the search function. Many users, myself included, already provided battery saving tips. On average, users get 4-5 hours screen time with optimized settings. I get on average 5-6 hours with my optimizations. Here are links to my posts to help you.

It looks like your device is constantly searching for a cellular signal, 42% battery usage. Did you mess with mobile data settings?
