The side light notifications do not work - Motorola Edge Themes, Apps, and Mods

Hello, I have the impression that the notification functions on the side of the screen stopped working after the update. The screen frequency can no longer be changed and now no notifications

Both were a result of the Android 11 update.

[Q] weird brightness settings

Hi,
I've been a long time android user but first time to use android 4.3 (I still use 4.2.2 on my gnex). I'm confused by the display brightness slider behavior on my nexus 7 2nd gen. My normal understanding (from other versions of jelly bean i've used) is that if i slide the brightness all the way to the left, i get a dim screen (but still bright enough to see the screen, about 10% brightness), and sliding the slider all the way to the right results in max 100% brightness. I've noticed a different behavior with my nexus 7 2nd gen on android 4.3. Sliding the brightness to the left produces the correct behavior (dim screen), but sliding to the right doesn't increase the brightness, it just stays constant. In fact, sliding it all the way to the right leads to a COMPLETELY black screen. I find this annoying because I can accidentally make the screen dark and I can't see anything but the tablet is still running, and I can't adjust the screen brightness back to where I can see something. Is this an android 4.3 bug or feature?

notification on lock screen change position to right

After February update my notifications on lock screen in aod display changed from center to right side, is anyone got this issue too?

Having major issues with notifications in Pie

It seems like ever since Oreo (currently running Pie) my notifications have been really screwed up and I'm at a loss as to how to fix it. I need help lol.
1) With screen off, a lot of times I won't get any notifications until I wave my hand over the proximity sensor.
2) Sometimes my LED doesn't turn on. Like, I'll grab my phone and there'll be a notification on the lock screen, but the LED doesn't alert me to it. Other apps don't flash the LED at all even though it's turned on in settings.
3) I never get voicemail notifications. At all. And I can see missed phone calls if I open the phone app, but there's otherwise no indication of missed calls. Wtf!
I've tinkered with all of the notification settings to no avail. I also noticed the number of options that can affect notifications seems a complicated mess. I'm a bit disappointed at what the Android notifications have become.
Can anyone offer any help with this?

Notifications turn silent (vibrate), but only when phone is locked and screen off.

This started when I updated to the official Android 10, been on the beta since the start. Haven't had any problem with notifications while on the beta. When the screen is on, I'll hear notifications like normal, but as soon as the screen goes off, no sound will play. It's only for notifications too, the phone will ring if I get a call and music will continue playing. I've checked DND settings and don't see anything that would indicate it's being turned on automatically.
Discovered what was causing it. Fit Notifications by Smart Dinosaurs Entertainment broke once Android 10 1.0 released. App hasn't been updated since last year, but it was working perfectly on the beta.

Question about Edge Lighting in relation to One UI 3.0 /3.1

I'd grateful if someone could explain the Edge Lighting and why it doesn't work on One UI 3.0/3.1. I always thought Edge Lighting is a light indicator left on WHEN YOUR SCREEN IS OFF (like an LED notification) indicating you already received a Call/Text/Etc since you last touched your phone. I don't know why the Edge Lighting settings are located inside the Brief Popup Notifications settings because Brief/Detailed popup settings are not specific to Edge Lighting or the AOD blackscreen. Doesn't make sense.
This is what I have:
-Brief Popup Notifications - ENABLED (all apps selected),
-Edge Lighting - BASIC DESIGN
-Show even while screen is off - ENABLED
-AOD - SHOW ALWAYS
And when I get a missed phone call/text while the screen is off, the lock screen displays the notification panel there for a few secs and then goes off again. NOTHING on the AOD/black screen during or after the call. I get a tiny blue handset icon below the clock on AOD indicating missed call. Even if the phone is turned over... NOTHING. Does NOT make a difference if Detailed Popup Notifications enabled (Edge Lighting OFF).
Since this is no longer working or the way I expect, how do you tell if you received a call/text/etc if you were away from their phone by glancing at it? Is AODNotify or similar 3rd party app the only alternative? Thanks.
Moved from a Xioami to a Fold3 and I'm wondering the same. Is it so difficult?
But... let's say I could live with brief pop up the way it's implemented, my question is: why brief popup works with some apps (Whatsapp, messages, LinkedIn) and doesn't with others (Gmail, outlook)?
