2. Enter Temporary Recovery
fastboot boot SHRP_Recovery_v3.0_taimen.img
3. Data decryption (the password is the phone lock screen password)
4. Click Install and flash into SHRP-Install_v3.0_taimen.zip
5. Unzip SHRP-Resource_v3.0_taimen.zip to the root directory of the phone's built-in storage (/sdcard/)
6. Installation is complete

Yes. Recovery zip works and sticks on beautifully! You may flash it after you have booted from img file.

Yes, I'm on Dec stock rom with latest canary build + universal fix 1.1.1 flashed via SHRP, SafetyNet passes.
I get an error 1 failed to install magisk. i followed the instructions but no luck, can someone help? i'm gonna try old way by patching boot image in magisk manager but i really like this recovery so any help i would appreciate

Dear OP, I'm so happy seeing new custom recovery for our devices! Please consider releasing a version for walleye. Our version of TWRP is much more outdated than taimen's TWRP.
Greetings!
New to rooting and installing recoveries and ROMs on this phone but any suggestions for running into mounting errors with this? Loving it otherwise but limited on functionality thus far.
Tried it:
Temp booted to it
Couldnt copy zips to flash internal storage via MTP...nope
abd pushed the installer.zip to tmp
Flashed it from there
adb pushed resources folder
Bootloop
At that point i again asked myself "whats the point?"
Back to temp booting TWRP which works 100%
Booted, flashed, unzipped and copied to root directory! Works incredibly well and intuitively.
Would you please elaborate on using the resources when in SHAP Recovery?
Also, can you elaborate on MTP issues. What should we look out for? Can I just boot TWRP if have an MTP issue?

Nice work mate! Works well on my g8141. Restoring backups is broken on android 10 ROMs, but its the same on regular twrp. Nice theming options, I notice it pre-installs magisk 20.3, is there an issue you have with 20.4?

Restoring backups on Android 10 ROM, it is necessary to do it twice with intermediate loading, where there is encryption in the backup, I did not check from 10 to 10.

Got it sorted, doing it twice wont help, you need to backup system image in twrp (and whatever else you want), not system :good:

I installed it and it was very easy. My only but is, I wish there was more info on each of the features. I visited the Sky Hawk home site and it is a great beginning. But as with all such projects, the early effort is put into getting everything working rather than in depth tutorials on how to use it. Is there any plan for Sky Hawk having its own XDA site where users post about the individual features?

I agree, I don't know how to use half of it either. It appears that the closest to a forum is Telegram. I seen SHRP for the Tab 6 and thought it looked good so tried my hand at putting one together for Tab S5e. Still figuring it out myself, especially the text editor, either I don't know how to work it or it doesn't work. If you want there is new version I just put up, version up to 2.3.1 now have to fix post somehow, the xda editor strips graphics from post when edit or preview. Where to file bug report for xda forum ?
I am not a fan of such bright colorful icons in dark mode. Just f.y.i. if you use black dashboard icons on black background you get a nice text based dash. Black text on black background is actually gray and not too bright at all.

Use the vbmeta from TWRP website and flash it with odin. You should be able to go to recovery after flashing it. Do it like flashing twrp and hold volume up to boot recovery immediately after flashing vbmeta. Recovery should boot if you had it installed. Hhow did you wind up with error ?

Alright, After some testing I've found only one bug. When you install Magisk Canary the recovery tries to "Inject SHRP" but fails to do so. But it doesn't seem to cause any issues ?. So I think it's Bugfree? Anyway, Good work dev!

When flashing the Magisk zip did you manually select the inject SHRP option, or was it done automatically? Magisk only patches and doesnt overwrite the boot image so I dont see any need to inject SHRP.

It tried to Inject SHRP Automatically
an issue: un-root a phone seems to break the image, it does not boot both slots it always go back to the recovery. By apply again the root to the image works fine.

addon contain multiple zip included like magisk, overlay & dm verity zip if you reset device those file removed from data
so no need to flash recovery again to get those files just flashing addon will restore those zips

Not working i'm currently on latest official twrp & syberia os 11 . Tried installing both via zip as well as recovery ramdisk , after installing zip & rebooting to recovery old twrp reopens & after installing img does not boot to recovery mode stuck in bootloader warning

I have the same problem. It installed just fine and then I booted to system and while attempting to reboot to recovery or system, it gets stuck in bootloader warning screen.
EDIT : It works when I change slots from fastboot but only momentarily. I still can not reboot to recovery from system. I'm using EvoX.

Issue is occurring on twrp

The same as you,I also boot to shrp via img then flash shrp zip ,after that i reboot to recovery, it gets stuck in bootloader with a warning screen

Facing issues on H2OS ,Android 10
tried every method doesn't work
crashdump mode trying to boot from image via fastboot. Using Siberia 12. Recovey wont boot if installed via zip
Both of your recoveries caused my 6t to freak out. Boot image in slow motion, screen went nuts. Is the installer dynamic in the way it recognizes which device you're using because I thought you couldn't use the same recovery for the 6 and 6t on a12 because of encryption issues. I think the only reason my device even booted is because if on F2FS unencrypted
And with SHRP I thought you had to flash the img and then the zip? That's my experience in the past with other devices, but perhaps the 6t is different?

So I installed this and it works. You mention auto decrypt in features, but it doesn't really seem to work. If you choose disable force decrypt in recovery, it tries to mount data, but that wouldn't be possible, because it's encrypted (and thus, flashing the zip file fails). I assume you have to format data first, but that not a thing I would want to do right now.

Yeah, Pixel Experience. I know decrypting doesn't work on A12 yet and this recovery is based on TWRP, but I still had hope

Ah yeah i thought u had this issue on A11
There is no solution for that at the moment, because of wrappedkey. But it is under active development.

yeah, not a huge issue for now, I'm using sd card for the moment.
Any plan to update to 3.7.0? It supports both A12 and 13 decryption now.
