Hello , Does Xiaomi mi 10t support usb c otb to ethernet ? does it work ??
My Mi10T Pro running 12.0.9 stable works well with a Sandisk USB C drive.
I tested it with usb3 ethernet adapter with ax88179 chipset and it works, speed is around 25MB/s
although I didn't found anything in configuration where I can set ip address or anything manually....

What about installing a custom kernel that supports usb to ethernet over otg?
It should work with some devices, but not sure about any HTC.

1. Realme X2 supports USB-C to Ethernet? I enable support for OTG. But the phone do not show that ethernet is connected!

Hello, I have currently Redmi Note 8T but I think this problem is applicable to every xiaomi phone with type c port
Because Xiaomi is a prick and doesn't put 3.0+ Usb ports into their phones (even flagship) , it's impossible to connect to a monitor thru the type C port
So, I have an adaptor for usb c to hdmi, usb, power delivery, and yeah, I can't connect the phone to the TV
I searched a lot thru forums and understood that I need either usb 3.0+ or MHL compatibility. BUT my tech knowledge tells me that USB 2.0 is capabile of streaming video
SO , is there any way to make a connection thru this adaptor? Maybe I should root my phone and/or install something ?

I beliave that you can use the same cable I use on my poco F1, this one uses miracast screen transmission and works like a charm on lineage os 16 (android 9), but I thinks it works on any android os ios phone. Note that is only 30 fps, but with no lag, since it uses cable conection. Much better than chromecast thats uses wifi:

Miracast is not USB. Nor the F3 has any hardware to bridge video data over its USB2 port.

What makes you suggest the usb port is USB2?
