Okay, time for some good news!
I've fixed kernel problems and it's passed the initial boot process of "kernel", still not able to enter the OS but i can now grab logs and it's easier to fix the issues now.
BTW, I also built a latest TWRP for this device and it worked! (USB is dead anyway)

UPDATE: It's now booting into LineageOS 18!
Most of the things are working, except for WiFi, BT, USB(MTP?) , I will setup a thread for it after my source codes clean up with latest TWRP.

Btw in all of the custom roms of the desire 816 the bottom speaker has very high bass that makes it very distorted when the volume is on max, i just wanted to point that out if you can figure out how to fix it.

Always when I used the miui 7 ROMs, I had the problem that sometimes after a day of use, the device just didn't wake up after pressing the lock button. The buttons are showing light but I couldn't use the device until I swapped out the battery. Does someone of you have the same problem?
And I was wondering if this happens with this rom as well.
I have the same problem ~1-2 times a day....I haven't tried out with this rom, will do it later this day

LG G3s No Sound in CM13, what's wrong?

Hi! I'm user of LG G3s. Yesterday I installed on it CyanogenMod 13 and... It's very good. Working very fast and everything but.... sound isn't working. It's just mine problem or it happens to all G3s with CM13? Version of CM13 is from today cm-13.0-20160124-NIGHTLY-jagnm.zip package. I will be grateful for help.

That change is in the code. You can not handle that on device level.

Hi,
Is your screen control like kcal?
Hi, could you add support for korean variants of S7? (G930K,S,L)
When I try to build from G930F kernel sources with defconfig modified for my device, random reboots occur when connected to USB, which drives me crazy.
Thanks in advance.

Read only as in because we don't have a proper TWRP? Or read only as in, yeah it'll boot, but can't write anything to storage after? I'm unclear there. I don't have a 9 Pro to test this myself, but I'm in this part of XDA because I'm heavily considering getting one lol

Wow that's crap! Makes me wonder if a new way to decrypt will pop up at some point. Just for my own knowledge, if I tried, does this phone just bootloop? Trying to grasp the real world scenario here.
