I have a problem with Magisk Manager - Xiaomi Mi 10T / 10T Pro Questions & Answers

Hello. I have a Mi10T Pro with the MIUI 12.5 weekly installed, as well as Magisk and Safetynet passed successfully. I cannot hide Magisk Manager ("Hiding Magisk Manager has failed") and I would like to know if anything can be done as my bank application is not working normally. Can someone help me? Thanks a lot.

you must enter the play store and deactivate play protec, now you can hide magisk without problems, I recommend that you reactivate the option once hidden.

First time Android user rooted with Magisk, but not sure how to proceed further

I followed topjohnwu's guide of installing Magisk Manager, managed to get it rooted and passed the SafetyNet check (Pixel 2 XL).
Am on v14.4 for magisk and v5.4.1 for Magisk Manager, when I pressed the "Tap to start SafetyNet check", it straight away crashes the app and then forces me to restart it. I checked my SafetyNet through root checker instead.
Also, I tried downloading v4a v2.5.0.4 but it says audio format is unsupported and not processing when I tried playing songs from Spotify, I need help to make this work. Many thanks for those who viewed and offers their opinion!
If you want viper to work you must set selinux to permissive.

The safety net crash is a know bug. Doesn't cause any problems. Tho new magisk update was just released. As stated above must be permissive for viper. Theres a magisk module zip to set permissive.
New version of Magisk (14.5) and Magisk manager (5.4.2) out.

Magisk hide not working for Banking apps.

So i have successfully intalled TWRP and Magisk 19.3, everything is stable however one of the 3 banking apps i use recognizes that the device is rooted and denies me access. in the U. S. i use the TD Bank App and the Chase banking apps, and for these two either Magisk hide works or they dont care the device is rooted because am able to use them without issue.
the troublesome banking app is Banco Popular from the Dominican Republic. it detects root and denies me acces. i tried enabling magisk hide on it and failed, i then added magisk hide to all systemsl apps but that didnt work.
Banks in the DR always have a huge wait time and a lot can be done with the banking app therefore i would like to use it to manage my finances. is there anyway i can make magisk hide work or edit specific files in the system to prevent a root check?
i would appreciate any suggestions or links to other tgreads explaining what needs to be done

You could try to install RiruCore (Magisk Module), EdXposed(Magisk Module), EdXposed installer, and Zuper (EdXposed Module).
Tick the apps u want to hide at Magisk Hide and Zuper. This works for me

How To Guide EASIEST method to unblock McDonalds app and many more

Hello everyone, after a long time of not being able to figure out on how to make the McDonalds app work on a magisk rooted phone with twrp + custom rom. I finally managed to do it.
I want to share my method with you, hopefully it will work for everyone.
At first, install the McDonalds app (If not already done).
1. Install app manager from play store
2. Force stop + clear cache
3. In magisk, enable magiskhide and follow the steps.
4. In the new magisk app. Select Systemless hosts
5. Also, enable denylist and add McDonalds to it.
6. Install Universal Safetynet Fix by kdrag0n from github.
7. After installing, the apps should work.
Good luck!
which version of magisk?
I don't know exactly, I am using the latest version. Should work on most versions that includes MagiskHide

Open magisk and it will shiw you what version you have
I'm using 25.2
can you show screen shot of your magisk and the magisk hide function, it is not in mine. i usually use magisk delta which does have magisk hide in it
Or just use the browser when ordering.
It still doesn't work I think they detect an unlocked bootloader even if you don't have root
I saw a module in Lposed that blocks root in the macdonalds app.
Thread '[MOD][XPOSED][4.1+] McRoot (McDonalds Global App)' https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/mod-xposed-4-1-mcroot-mcdonalds-global-app.4265069/
Hey, thanks for the "tutorial"! Kinda surprised that it works even on banking apps or it could be another thing that i tried before.
Edit: I think that you need LSPosed + Hide My Applist for the banking apps

Question Can/Should I use device simulation?

I'm almost done setting up my new RedMagic 8, and I have a couple of issues:
Disney+ won't install. This might be because I'm rooted, but I've installed Universal Safetynet fix, and I'm supposedly passing.
Gpay isn't working for me. This is _probably_ a rooting issue, but I'm confused because, again, I'm passing safetynet.
I'd probably chalk this all up to being rooted, but my old phone (OnePlus 7 Pro) is rooted, and I can use both of these apps on there. I've read about MagiskHide Props Config, and it warns that device simulation should only be done if you have to, but I'm starting to wonder if there's any other way to get these apps running.
Have you tried installing Shamiko?
I've never heard of that before, but I've installed it now. So far there isn't any difference. Do you know how it's different from Magisk enforcing the hide list?

To get Google Pay/Wallet working, I used Universal SafetyNet Fix by kdrag0n and did the usual under Magisk settings -
Enable Zygisk
Enable Enforce DenyList
Configure DenyList -> Add your Google Pay/Wallet here

That worked on my old phone (OnePlus 7 Pro), but not my new phone (RedMagic 8 Pro).
I swear, it's getting harder and harder to be a rooted user. I just want to use Adaway! Why is that so much to ask?!

Question How do you hide your root-state?

Hello!
I have a Realme GT Master Edition, running Android 13 under RUI4.0
I rooted the stock rom with a patched boot.img by Magisk and without TWRP. (stock recovery)
So far so good...
My question is now how i can hide that my phone is rooted? There are some apps (for example banking apps or netflix app) that doesn't work because my device can't be trusted if it is rooted.
Magisk hide is not existing for newer devices. I googled it and can't find a working solution that i can trust.
Do you have a suggestion or if your phone is rooted how do you hide it from these apps?
What are Modules in Magisk? Maybe there is an option for this or a sort of expansion to install?
The most apps that look up the root state just warn me that my device is rooted but work as normal. (So it is no problem if there is no solution, I just don't want to see that warning everytime i start an app)

Magisk definitely works. Download the latest version
Download Magisk Manager Latest Version 26.1 For Android 2023
Magisk Manager is an app which helps users to root their phone. With the help of Magisk you can run banking apps and also pass SafetyNet tests.

Thanks, this is working for me. Not in every App, but the annoying warning in the Banking app is gone.
Other apps seem to have problems connecting to a server. - But I don't really need that apps.
