Does anyone here play Call of duty mobile? I have a problem with connectivity with custom roms. I have used corvus, then havoc, then evolution x... all roms load the game really slowly, the login process is like 1-2mins, compared to stock global miui 12, which takes 20-30secs max. When in the game app itself, its always loading/reconnecting. It also disconnects if i minimise the app and after a few minutes I open it up again, it doesn't reconnect, I need to restart the app to play again. Its like the app loses internet connection and I need to restart it. Anyone faced this problem and found a work around?
i used to play cod on my redmi note 8 pro but it was stock rooted android 10.

Is there a ROM right now for the S3 L710 that supports Pokemon GO? Or do I need to buy a new phone to play the game?

I'm on 4.4.2 it starts but I get "GPS signal not found", and parts (or all) of the UI are missing.
i am using the stock sprint s3 rom 4.4.2 (used to be rooted) and the game works for me.
Where did you get the game? It shouldn't be in the play store (yet) for the s3, I had to copy the apk from my s7 and installed it from my google drive.
the only issue I was getting, was after loging in with my user name and password, I saw a screen with the background but nothing to click on. there's a button that doesn't show up on the s3 near the bottom center. keep clicking (with sound on so you know you click it) and you will get past that prompt for the professor to talk and give you a tour.
Other than that, i have no issues. throwing pokemon balls is a little more challenging on the S3 than the S7, but it runs well enough to play,
Make sure your location setting is on "High Accuracy" and dont have "allow mock locations checked

Aside from some weird UI issues in the Pokedex, my son had been playing Pokemon GO on the latest AICP MM ROM. The only major issue is that the battery tends to die faster than he can finish a gym battle at the end of a round of walking.
I got Pokemon Go playing on my device flawlessly, after flashing the latest nightly of the Exodus ROM (6.0.1) for the Sprint Samsung S III (d2spr). I was previously using the ROM Wicked X (4.4.2) where it wasn't working, I could never get it to find my GPS even after turning off mock locations and turning on High Accuracy.

FWIW, Exodus Nightly + GAPPS PICO runs Pokemon GO extremely smooth on my SGS3. Superior to my bone stock SGS6 running TouchWiz.

recently i bought brand new LG G4 and i immediately installed LineageOS 14.1 ROM. First day i seen that almost every time that i'm downloading an App from Play Store, download suddenly just stops and hangs for 30 seconds and then continues normally. Same thing happens even in other applications and even with LOS Updater.
I also have problems with 4G/LTE. In Speedtest i get somewhere arround 70Mbit/s and in Play store i get 600kb/s max. Yesterday i had to use USB network tethering and i was able to download normally with 3 - 5 megabytes per second.
I really don't know what problem could be so i hope that anyone here can help me.

Really odd, the Max updated and now most apps have wifi connection issues?
The app will say something like 'can't connect to sever' for 3 or 4 times and then carry on. This is with most apps not just 1 or 2.
This wasn't happening at all before the update and it never happens with Youtube or using a browser..
Tried rebooting, reloading the apps, rebooting the rooter, ect. no change.
Can anyone suggest a fix??

Hi, recently a suggested my dada to buy a Redmi Note 8, today he told me he can't watch youtube videos, i checked his phone and it is connected to 4G but the internet speed is realy slow, i did a speedtest and it is reaching 2 mbps max, i tried some solutions proposed to redmi note 8 pro but nothing works, we are in Mexico and the phone was bought here but it came with india rom, i tried to flash the global rom for test if it solves the issue but i cant, its older than the india rom running on the phone.
He cant connect his pc over wifi zone neither, it says connected without internet access.
Does anyone have a suggestion? plz help me, he wants to kill me

Same issue here. I have noticed if I go in to airplane mode and back out my data isn't bad for about 45 min. Also my phone is a clean setup, I did not recover from backup and my phone has the bootloader unlocked. I only have a handful of apps on it.

Please check again after you disable the gps and bluetooth...
And do it not from the drop down curtain, but from the menu...

My Mi A2 Lite stock Android 9 4/64gb works fine, the wifi signal and speed was never a problem, but in the last 3 days my wifi speed goes extremely down. Youtube can't even load the thumbs, the videos don't open, It takes a lot of time to download some app from Play Store, etc. All the conection is extremely slow, like a 2G internet or older. The phone was working fine until the last days, I didn't have installed any new thing, don't touched the wifi router... PC, notebook and another Android devices working fine in Wifi, except my Mi A2 Lite. The 4G in the phone works fine. I've already turned off the bluetooth and location and nothing happens. Already reseted the wifi configurations and nothing, changed the wifi channel in router and no way... This is as far the worst Xiaomi I've ever bought :crying: :crying: :crying:
With speedtest apk the donwload and upload speed can't eve reach 20 kbps. No way to use.
What can I do? Mi Mi A2 Lite is brand new, last Android 9 (10.0.18.0) that I updated in tuesday (and make a factory reset), all working fine until this sh** starts...

Same problem here. Nothing changed, no ota update the last days. Very slow internet connection, tested with different router. Of course phone not dropped or something. Sometimes the speed goes up to 50 mbit and the download also is optimal and reached 10 mbit. I can't see where the problem could be because it sometimes seems to work normally.
Remember this coronavirus thing that's happening worldwide now? Your WiFi is probably slow because most people are home and have nothing to do but stream movies etc.
Yesterday I was supposed to get a free upgrade from 20Mb to 120Mb on my fibre subscription but during daytime I see 2-4 Mb only.
