LG G Pad 8.3 Keeps booting into TWRP - G Pad 8.3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello everyone,
My brother gave me his soft bricked G Pad 8.3 and so I thought giving it a chance by flashing LineageOS (lineage-14.1-20181111-nightly-v500).
Btw I am super thankful that there are still updates released here, which I absolutely did not expect. So hundred thumb-ups here
So far I tried:
Flashing newest TWRP (3.5), wipe everything (Dalvik, Cache, System, Data), then flashing Lineage. The pad still kept booting into TWRP. As I read that sometimes an "Error 7" occured with some TWRP versions here and here in the forum, I tried with an "older" version of TWRP (3.3.1 currently) altough I didnt get error 7 but just to be sure.
So after flashing TWRP 3.3.1 again wiped everything, copied the ROM-zip to the pad, flashed the LineageOS and rebooted, but still the pad booted into TWRP instead of the OS.
So I guess I somehow have to overwrite the bootloader right? So ok I installed the Kitkat bootloader (from here). Then rebooted again, installed LineageOS again, but still. The pad boots into TWRP. Would be happy for any hints on how to fix this
Ah yeah and I tried this also already, but as the LG software seems outdated and does not support the pad it did not work.
Btw. ADB commands worked, the pad is recognised by a windows computer so that I can copy files to it, and download mode also worked.
Kind regards,
Dom

No hint? Any advice would be appreciated

Help would still be appreciated

Sorry for late reply:
1. Maybe you are trying to flash ARM64 instead of ARM gapps (LG G Pad 8.3 is a 32-bit device)
2. Or you have a G Pad Google Play Edition (code name V510) or Verizon LTE model (VK810), so lineage-14.1-20181111-nightly-v500 won't work because it is for regular model (V500)
3. I'm out of ideas...

OK, my problem was Windows 8.1... The phone is well recognized by LG Tool under W7, but now I have another major problem, at the last step, when the tool begins to flash the rom, it goes until 5% and then this popup box blocks the flash "battery level is low and upgrade is unavailable"
I have reload fully my battery (I plugged it into the G PRO dock)... still the same message.
Any help please ?
Did you manage to resolve the issue? I am just having the very same problem and a bit lost and cannot risk flashing anything right now.

LG Optimus 4x HD (LGP880) bricked and imei stuck

Hello,
I've got a big problem.
My Android phone, LG Optimus 4x HD, won't boot up anymore.
When the LG logo comes up, the phone won't do anything.
My phone is rooted en has an unlocked bootloader. The second problem (actually the first) is that he don't see his IMEI number anymore (and Mac adress). So I can't do a phone call anymore or use the internet. I tried to install twrp recovery and than it went wrong.
I tried to restore the phone through: LG PC Suite, LG Flashtool(error message: IMEINOTACTIVE), KDZ flash but nothing worked.
I tried it about twenty times, and intall en uninstall LG drivers but it didn't help.
I've also tried to install CWM Recovery through ADB in the recovery menu but he can't acces his internal memory or something.
I can access the bootmenu of LG and the software upgrade menu.
I hope someone can help me with this problem(s)!
Thanks in advance:good:

Can't fix after install twrp

Hi everyone so i tried installing twrp on my lg g pad 8.3 4.4.2. v50020d
And i kept getting the same error when trying to go into recovery.
So i thouth i could fix it and go back to normal with lg support tool but everytime i use lg support tool it stuck on 4% after the tool downloaded the nessesary files first i tougth that i could be that i didn't have enauth space on my device so i i did a factory reset but that made everything wors every time i try to boot my device now it goas automaticly to recovery but there is no recovery to go to .
So i puted my g pad in download mode and tried fixing it with the lg support tool but it still stuck on 4% and asks me to retry after i reboot my device.
sup
I really need help can anyone help me with this problem.
I cannot boot into the os or recovery only thing that happends it try to go into recovery.
The only thing that it can do is go into download mode and lg support tool recognises my device
Sorry for my english i din't pay much attention to my writing i'm a bit frustrated.
Nevermind found a way to fix it aqtuelly its the same way just used like a very old laptop to do it I for some reason couldn't fix it on my newer laptop so had to use an old one, I also managed to install twrp by downgrading my firmware and then installing twrp on it using the same old laptop so yeah it depends a lot on what computer your using

Hard bricked Tablet LG G Pad v410 7.0

Bricked my LG Gpad 7.0 pretty badly. Here are the steps I did
First I found the KDZ for a test version for the LGV410, worked but when I tried using Cygenmod root and recovery, the boot screen became washed out. Once the tablet booted up, the screen was okay, but the washed out boot screen was bugging me.
Next I went into fastboot mode and erased EVERYTHING.
Now I couldn't get anything to work, every time I tried flashing an .img via ubuntu, it would just reset.
Last, oops, I formatted the EMMC ya ya I know dumb.
Anyways, got my hands on the LG Smart Boot Diagnosis Tool, this appears to work, only if I had the correct rom, which by the way also is the same AP Chip ROM for the LG G Pad 10.1 (MSM8226 Snapdragon Qualcomm 400 Chipset)
So my question is, does anybody know how I can get this or do they have themselves. The directory structure looks like this:

LG G Pad 8.3 v500 Secure booting error brick

Hello!
I'm quite new to the android rooting scene, so I encountered this problem on my LG G Pad 8.3 (v500)
I had installed Lineage OS with android 7 (can't remember exact version) and tried to root the device
I tried flashing SuperSU.zip with TWRP, but it failed, and now, when I boot, it shows me this:
--------------------------------
Secure booting Error!
Cause : boot certification verify
--------------------------------

I tried getting into download mode, recovery mode, adb, flashing stock rom, but none worked. They all lead to the same error. Best result I could get was with download mode: the lg logo for a few secs, and then a black screen
Is there anything I can do to unbrick my device?
we are two with the same problem
