S Pen feature update is coming to the Galaxy Tab S7 series this month - Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 / S7 Plus Guides, News, & Di

The Galaxy Tab S7 series was updated to One UI 3.1 last month but Samsung hasn’t stopped working on developing new features for its flagship tablet duo. In fact, the company is now getting ready to release a follow-up firmware update for the Galaxy Tab S7 series; one that will introduce a handful of new S Pen features which will likely be appreciated by productivity-oriented users.
The update will make the S Pen usable in more scenarios and allow for handwriting in more text boxes that are usually serviced with the on-screen keyboard. For example, once the update will be applied, Galaxy Tab S7 and Galaxy Tab S7+ owners will have the ability to use the S Pen for handwriting in address boxes. They’ll have options to insert punctuation marks, and the text will instantly be converted into digital text. The same S Pen to text option will also be added to Samsung Notes, and it will be available in over 80 languages at launch.
Scanning documents just got easier
The Galaxy Tab S7 and Galaxy Tab S7+ already give users the option to scan documents using the Camera, but the upcoming update will bring this feature more to the forefront.
This isn’t as big of a change as the S Pen to text addition but, following the update, the Scan option will be found under Attach, right next to the Image, Camera, and PDF options. Once a document is scanned, the user will be able to start jotting down notes on the document using the S Pen.
Samsung claims that the next Galaxy Tab S7 firmware update with the S Pen to text feature included will be released by the end of February. The rollout will commence in select markets though, so it won’t be available everywhere at start.
Once you’ll have the update running on the Galaxy Tab S7 or Tab S7+, you’ll find the new S Pen to text feature by opening Settings and accessing S Pen under Advanced Features.

Galaxy Tab S7 S Pen feature update is live and it brings Dolby to DeX
Samsung has promised us that a new firmware update for the Galaxy Tab S7 series will go live before the end of the month, and the company’s keeping its word. The Galaxy Tab S7 series is now getting a new S Pen feature update in Europe, and it happens to include the latest March 2021 security patch.
Galaxy Tab S7+ owners in Germany — and possibly other countries — should now be able to download firmware version T976BXXU1BUBB from the Settings app, and the firmware will also be available for download from our archive soon. The rollout began with the Galaxy Tab S7+ but the base model shouldn’t be far behind.
New S Pen to text feature is live along with Samsung Free, Dolby for DeX
The latest firmware update for the Galaxy Tab S7 series adds a new S Pen to text feature that lets you use the S Pen in more areas including address boxes, and it makes scanning documents a little bit more convenient as the feature is easier to reach.
In addition, the new update introduces Samsung Free, as well as Dolby support in DeX mode and improves the platform’s stability. The fingerprint scanner should have also improved but no additional details were included in Samsung’s official changelog. Samsung Tips 'Premium Suite' Upgrades for Galaxy S III
Samsung today showed off some new features that will be coming to the Galaxy S III smartphone in the coming weeks via a "Premium Suite" upgrade.
Samsung is offering more than a dozen new features for Galaxy S III users, from an option that will automatically start playing your favorite songs when you plug in earphones to one that will adjust the size of the text on your browser.
The company first introduced the Premium Suite concept in May, and is now rolling it out to its flagship Galaxy S III .
Samsung did not immediately respond to a request for comment as to when the update will roll out, but it noted in blog posts that "availability and timing of the Premium Suite upgrade will vary depending on the country and mobile carrier."
The new features are broken down into four categories: contextual awareness, enhanced features, powerful multimedia, and new features and better accessibility.
Contexual Awareness
Page Buddy: The feature will kickstart certain features based on your actions. You can program the phone to start playing your favorite song or playlist as soon as you plug in your earphones, for example.
Contexual Menu: Tired of flipping through pages and pages of apps? This option will present your most frequently used apps upon startup and allow you to see the most used apps when you attach files to your messages.
Contextual Tag: Where did you take that photo again? With contextual tag, your phone will remember the date, place, and even the weather at the time you snapped that photo.
Enhanced Features
Multi Window: Looking to multi-task? Multi Window will let you open two apps at the same time for a split-screen view.
Auto Share Point Pairing using NFC: With Auto Share Shot mode, you can easily share photos and videos using NFC and S-Beam.
Reader Mode: Stop squinting while trying to read that article online. This feature will let you change the size of the text on your mobile browser and click the webpage to share it.
Facebook Lock Ticker: For quick Facebook update, the Lock Ticker will show you your Facebook news feeds from the lock screen.
Powerful Multimedia
Paper Artist: Instagram? Nah, with Paper Artist, users can "change the moods of your pictures whenever you want - like a pop artist," Samsung said.
Low Light Show: Need to snap a photo in low light without a flash; no problem, this feature is your answer.
Best Face: With group shots, "somebody always blinks," Samsung says. With the Galaxy S III, however, you can take a burst photo of five shots and pick the best faces from each one for the perfect composite shot.
New Features & Better Accessibility
Easy Mode: New to smartphones? Select Easy Mode, which places the five most frequently used widgets on the desktop for easy access.
Sound Balance: If your hearing is better or worse in one ear, use this feature to adjust the sound balance on one side of your earphones.
Setup Wizard: The accessibility menu will pop up when you power on your device.
Easy Snap: For those who are visually impaired, the phone will provide special noises and audible cues for thigs like taking photos.
In other Samsung news, the company released a teaser video yesterday, titled "Get Ready," which tips "something new" between Jan. 8-11, which is when next year's Consumer Electronic Show takes place. Samsung is scheduled to host a press conference on Jan. 7 and a keynote on Jan. 9. There have been reports that Samsung might show off its next-generation Galaxy S IV at CES or Mobile World Congress the next month, but we'll just have to wait and see.

[Q] Port s-note 2012 apk from the note 10.1 to the new note 10.1 2014

I am a student and I am fed up with the new s-note app. It is pure junk and doesnt do so many of the most important things that the old one could do like; handwriting recognition on the fly, formula recognition and solving, or shape and chart transformation on the fly just to name a few. In addition to this it crashes and deletes my notes IN LECTURE!
Is there any hope for this working? I have come so close in the last few days to throwing this tablet against the wall.
Please help.

samsung Galaxy s9 collins dictionary popup on all devices

Hello,
On my Samsung Galaxy S9, I can select a word, there is an item Dictionary on a popup menu and it opens a popup with the selected word in the Samsung Dictionary 2.6.36 seller, a very detailed Collins for learners dictionary.
I tried to install the apk on other phones such as Sony XZ Premium, Nokia 8, Honor View 10 but I can't : App not installed.
Is there a way to have this wonderful app on devices different from Samsung?
Thank you.
Probably better to ask in those different devices own forums, someone might know a workaround

Dear M51 owners, could you please confirm that Link to Windows is supported with Apps feature ?

Microsoft recently updated Your Phone app to allow single apps connection to Windows for Samsung devices (beside Screen Mirroring). The official supported list includes almost all Galaxy A series devices and there is no mention of Galaxy M series, which would seem weird that Galaxy A51 and A71 are supported but M51 not.
If you can't test Apps linking at least let me know if Screen Mirroring shows up in Your Phone windows app.
For Apps linking you need to be in Windows Insider Release Preview channel at least.
I would really appreciate your input as this is a major factor in my buying decision.
Thank you !
