2 solution
1/Flash by Sp flash tool in EDL mode. You can search on Youtube. Careful, it can remove your IMEI, only use Download only, dont use Format. (You can search unbrick hardbrick method, it's same)
2/Research about mtkclient and unlock bootloader instant.
If you need more help, find Telegram group and ask.

what's the name of telegram group?
Is this procedure?
Is possible to install directly TWRP and exclude ufficial ROM?

Unlock bootloader instant for MTK (unofficial way)
Rose in Redmi Note 8 Pro | Begonia 🇮🇩

You can use translate to do it. It's not hard. And next time dont chose clean & lock on Mi flash.
You also can downgrade by that Sp flash tool also, just chose "Download only", chose other you can lose IMEI.
You need unlock bootloader for using Twrp and custom roms

Mtkclient can disable fastboot by the way (unlocking in the normal way also "unlocks fastboot")

I had no problems.
MiTools worked perfectly.
When my cell phone arrived it was with shop rom.
I activated USB debugging on Mi6 and connected to the computer (Windows 10, x64).
But in my Redmi2, MiTools did not work. I had to use MiFlash.

Can't unlock Mi 6 via Mi Unlock Tool getting frustrated.

Hello,
I am experiencing issues unlocking the BootLoader for Mi6 Device, I tried using Official Mi Unlock tool, but I keep getting strange errors or wrong information, please help me how I should proceed. It's extremely frustrating, I have been trying for months now, without any success.
Device : Mi 6
OS: 8.7.19 (Mi10 Global Dev) , tried the stable as well without any good results, some people on the Miui forums recommended trying the Global Dev version.
OS of PC : Windows 10 x64 ( disabled driver enforcement while using Mi Unlock Tool)
Once I try to unlock I get this error:

But my bootloader device is still locked. I did 'fastboot oem device-info' to verify.
Could anyone help me?

Try "fastboot oem unlock" from fastboot.
Ensure that "OEM unlocking" is toggled on from developer settings.
If the tool allowed the unlock perhaps the bootloader can be fully unlocked by manually issuing the command.
Alternatively run a VPN to a Beijing server and run the unlocking again.
Did you receive a conformation text etc etc etc?
Hello, man I've got a solution for you, i also had this same problem, solution is download xiaomi flash tool and then download miui 9 fastboot rom for mi 6 and then flash the miui 9 rom, and then go again and request for unlocking in developer options, wait for 3 days and then try to unlock with mi unlock, it will work.

thanks for the info
Is mandatory than when it says to wait 3 days to make it with the dev rom? or I can flash the global and unlock it with the global when passed 3 days
thanks
I guess it's your drive problem.
maybe you should update your drive
Via edl mode flash miui9 or miui8, then try to unlock

Looking at the devices list linked in the post, looks like the answer is no. It actually says that bootloader unlock isnt supported at all. Possible that i'm just reading it wrong though.
I Think i might unlock my device after Android 10 will be officially released by Xiaomi, it's hard to say goodbye to MIUI it isn't that bad like a lot of people are saying around. Anyway if i may ask (maybe not appropriated thread but..) , how much time is needed from the moment i "request" the bootloader unlock?

Unfortunately it kind of varies. I got my Mi Mix 3 in March of 2019 and I only had to wait 3 days after connecting my Mi account to the phone to unlock the bootloader. My friend purchased a Mix 3 in June and had the same experience of 3 days. A third friend just bought the Mix 3 two weeks ago, and had to wait 7 days to unlock it. I'm not sure if Xiaomi increased it again, but compared to what it used to be (a few weeks/months) I consider us lucky they reduced it so significantly.

Well thanks for the answer. Between 3-7 days would be great for me. I can wait a week. I tought worse. Unfortunately they didn't give a code so if i want to play in advance by requesting unlocked bootloader i cannot that and "store" my code to unlock later?

soft bricked redmi note 8 pro‏

my problem is that i flashed my RN8P with MIUI 12.0.5.0 manually using mi flash tool, and i accidentally checked on clean_all_lock for more security reasons. This led me to a bricked phone and stuck on the recovery with a message " this miui version can't be installed on this device".
Before flashing i didn't know that i have the chinese version of RN8P and the bootloader was already unlocked by the seller and flashed with a global ROM.
I didn't even know what bootloader is, but it's been a week since this happened and I never stopped searching for a solution. I removed the back cover to do the EDL method then I found that I must have an authorized account to flash it, this where I lost hope and became clueless. Note that my phone is bound to my mi account.
I wish that you can help me.
i'm also facing the same problem, i accidentally choose checked on clean_all_lock. is there any solution for this problem? thanks.

to unlock the bootloader again you need to use the same account that was used by the seller, which there is no way to get it.

Following
Easy to root. Unlock the boot loader using mtkclient , there is also a GUI version that works too if you don’t want to use commands .. androidfilehost has both. Make sure to back up your firmware first snd foremost. After that to obtain root simply take boot_a.bin transfer to phone patch with magisk snd bring back to pc flash the patched image to same partition. If by any chance you could upload your firmware somewhere for those in need would be greatly appreciated . I made mistake of trying to modify build.prop and when I hit save it basically cleared the whole file was unable to mount system to fix it snd started bootlooping
Also hope this helps
