Note : Test it and if you found any issue do let me know by PMing me on telegram @neel0210 .

Hi, I don't have telegram. Can't mount /vendor, internal storage, /data and CPEFS. On official TWRP version 3.2 I also couldn't backup EFS, but with your release I had no such problem.
Don't know if relevant but it says can't find /vendor in fstab when trying from terminal in TWRP.
Also TWRP settings don't get saved.
I appreciate our work. this is almost the newest TWRP release, which is what I like. Do you have some ideas about the bugs?
I think I had the same issues with official TWRP too, but not sure.

you can PM me on XDA for your questions

I couldn't wipe /data from this TWRP, but when I did it with adb shell commands (still running the same TWRP) it had no problem. Then I could mount it normally in the same TWRP.

weird, have you tried any other recovery??

yes, I have tried. The results are mostly similar, but so far I found that orangefox recovery seems to have the least problems. I may test some other ones later.

Can you resend link to download it? This one was deleted or sth.

Please, can someone share the recovery file with me?

@neel0210 link is crashed

Need this recovery because orange fox doesnt work with A12

MultiROM is one-of-a-kind multi-boot mod for Wileyfox Swift. It can boot any Android ROM. The main part of MultiROM is a boot manager, which appears every time your device starts and lets you choose ROM to boot. You can see how it looks on the left image below and in gallery. ROMs are installed and managed via modified TWRP recovery. You can use standard ZIP files to install secondary Android ROMs and MultiROM even has its own installer system, which can be used to ship other Linux-based systems.
Features:
* Multiboot any number of Android ROMs
* Restore nandroid backup as secondary ROM
You can also watch a video which shows it in action.
Warning!
It _is_ dangerous. This whole thing is basically one giant hack - none of these systems are made with multibooting in mind. It is no longer messing with data partition or boot sector, but it is possible that something goes wrong and you will have to flash factory images again. Make backups. Always.
Installation
Firstly, there are videos on youtube. If you want, just search for "MultiROM installation" on youtube and watch those, big thanks to all who made them. There is also an awesome article on Linux Journal.
1. Via MultiROM Manager app
This is the easiest way to install everything MultiROM needs. Install the app and select MultiROM and recovery on the Install/Update card.
2. Manual installation
Note 1: Your device must not be encrypted (hint: if you don't know what it is, then it is encrypted).
MultiROM has 2 parts you need to install:
Modified recovery - download the IMG file from second post and use fastboot or TWRP to flash it.
MultiROM - download the ZIP file from second post and flash it in recovery.
You current rom will not be erased by the installation.
Download links are in the second post.
Adding ROMs
1. Android
Go to recovery, select MultiROM -> Add ROM. Select the ROM's zip file and confirm. As for the space, clean installation of stock 6.x after first boot takes 900+mb of space.
Updating/changing ROMs
1. Primary ROM (Internal)
Flash ROM's ZIP file as usual, do factory reset if needed (it won't erase secondary ROMs)
Go to MultiROM in recovery and do Inject curr. boot sector.
2. Secondary Android ROMs
If you want to change the ROM, delete it and add new one. To update ROM, follow these steps:
Go to MultiROM -> List ROMs and select the ROM you want to update.
Select "Flash ZIP" and flash ROM's ZIP file.
Explanation of recovery menus
Main menu
- Add ROM - add ROM to boot
- List ROMs - list installed ROMs and manage them
- Inject boot.img file - When you download for example kernel, which is distrubuted as whole boot.img (eg. franco kernel), you have to use this option on it, otherwise you would lose MultiROM.
- Inject curr. boot sector - Use this option if MultiROM does not show up on boot, for example after kernel installation.
- Settings - well, settings.
Manage ROM
- Rename, delete - I believe these are obvious
- Flash ZIP (only Android ROMs) - flash ZIP to the ROM, for example gapps
- Add/replace boot.img - replaces boot.img used by this ROM, this is more like developer option.
- Re-patch init - this is available only for ubuntu. Use it when ubuntu cannot find root partition, ie. after apt-get upgrade which changed the init script.

Q: What is the no-kexec workaround?
A: The no-kexec workaround by nkk71 allows you to use MultiROM without having to flash a kexec enabled kernel.

Encrypt ROMs with Multirom for Wileyfox Swift
Thanks a lot Beroid for all your amazing work on the Wileyfox Swift – not only for Multirom, but also for TWRP and crDroid.
I have the WF Swift for two months and I have tried all these achievements: everything works perfectly ! :good:
I have a question about Multirom : is it possible to encrypt one of the ROMs installed ?
Considering this post : https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=34577869&postcount=3 , it seems that it is not possible to encrypt the primary ROM, only the secondary one, but it seems to depend of each device…
Do you think it is possible for Multiron on the Wileyfox ?
Thanks again ^^

Encrypted devices: Your secondary ROMs do not know your device is encrypted, do not (again: do not) try to encrypt your device while booted into a secondary ROM.

Since v32, MultiROM supports encryption on this device (it has to be added for each device separately). It works only with Android-based secondary ROMs and the secondary ROMs don't know the device is encrypted, so they would allow you to encrypt the device again - do not do that. If you're using password, pin or pattern for the encryption, MultiROM will ask you for the password on boot. If you're booting the primary ROM, then Android will ask you for the password _again_ - unfortunately, there is no way for me to pass the "unencrypted" status to Android. If you're booting secondary ROM, MultiROM will ask you for the password again after the reboot - that's because I have to unencrypt the /data partition after the ROM's kernel is loaded.

TWRP has evolved from being an alternative to ClockworkMod recovery back in the HTC Evo 4G days to becoming the most widely used custom recovery in the Android community. Its feature-set has greatly expanded over the years, and it now supports virtually every device with an unlockable bootloader. The open source project led by TeamWin is always hard at work fixing bugs and porting the recovery to new devices, but work on new features continues behind the scenes.
Update 10:24PM CST: Some corrections have been made about how this will be implemented. ADB Backup in TWRP will not be initiated by a GUI, but via an ADB command from your computer. The syntax of the commands will slightly differ from the AOSP ADB command, however.

One feature that has actually existed for quite some time in the TWRP respository but which has never been shipped in an official build is ADB backup. That will soon be changing, however, as we have learned that version 3.1.0 of TWRP will finally ship with ADB backup support, thus allowing you to make full data/system application backups straight to your computer.
ADB backup is a command line tool which allows you to make entire data and system backups, which is what most people seek when performing what’s known as a NANDROID backup. If you issue the right commands, you can create a backup of your applications and their data without needing root access or a custom recovery.
TWRP v3.1.0 Change-log
vold decrypt on a few select HTC devices, TWRP will now attempt to use the system partition’s vold and vdc binaries and libraries to decrypt the data partition (nkk71 and CaptainThrowback)

WARNING: This is our first release in a long time. We have a lot of new and somewhat aggressive changes in this new release. The changes to the graphics back-end may cause some devices to not boot up properly or have other display-related issues. If you are not in a position to reflash an older build of TWRP, then wait until you are or at least wait until others have tried the new version for your specific device. You don’t want to end up with a non-working recovery and have to wait several hours or days to get to a computer to be able to fix it.
Notes for themers: In addition to the udpated theme, we have introduced a theme version variable to the TWRP theme system. If the theme version does not match the version that TWRP expects, TWRP will reject the custom theme and load its stock theme. This change will ensure that people who update TWRP without updating their theme will still have a workable recovery. We have removed libjpeg support. The stock theme was only using a jpeg image for the splash / curtain. This change means that any custom themes will no longer be able to use jpeg images. It also means that tools used to repack recovery images with a different curtain / splash will need to be updated to use the new method.
Version number notes: For a while we’ve been using a 4 digit version number and reserved the 4th digit for device-specific updates. For instance, we find and fix a device-specific issue like decryption of data on Nexus 5, we would release that as a 2.8.7.1. After a while, some people would start asking where 2.8.7.1 was for other devices. So, going forward we have decided to change the numbering scheme to 3.0.0-2, etc. Our hope is that this version numbering scheme will more clearly identify that the 4th digit does not indicate a version change for the code base.
We need your help! The bulk of TWRP work is done by 3 people on a volunteer basis. We have pushed most of our device files to our github and we have a gerrit instance. If you have the ability, please help us maintain our official devices and/or add your device to our official device list. Thanks in advance!

It work ! Needed unmount system, vendor then flash rom
Why do you need to crosspost here? https://forum.xda-developers.com/redmi-note-9-pro/review/recovery-pitch-black-recovery-t4145151
Thumbs up. Backup seems to work.
@Kry9toN
After installing Island backups only fail as you can read on
https://www.reddit.com/r/Android/comments/chhcm6/psa_twrp_backup_does_not_like_android_for_work/
https://github.com/TeamWin/Team-Win-Recovery-Project/issues/1256
Island is similar to Shelter and is used to isolate certain proprietary Apps. I won't delete it. I could send you my PBRP log, if you want to work on the problem. How about it?

My miss take for choose form
Hi,
i tried to install this version but failed. Please see my steps belwo:
1) installing recovery.img via "fastboot flash recovery recovery.img" worked fine
2) installing the PitchBlack-joyeuse-2.9.1-20200722-1350-UNOFFICIAL.zip file via twrp returned "ERROR 1"
3) after rebooting into system and then back to PBRP, PBRP was gone and defualt recovery came up
Is there anything i miss?
Try to unmount some partitions and then install/sideload the zip. Try both install (from internal memory) and adb sideload. I also wasn't able to install many zip files through Recovery. Either the custom recoverys aren't ready yet or the zip files aren't made for Android 10 AOSP.
Tried adb sideload as well but it doesnt start on device side. Its just loading or startign endless.
I wantred also to get hands on the logs but once i install magisk, its getting into bootloop. Also the filemanager cannot be installed from PBRP.
Maybe its jjust to early.
Flashing Magisk from recovery will get u to bootloop. Extract ur roms boot.img from rom zip and patch it with Magisk Manager app then flash it with adb in fastboot mode
Hi,
I unlocked the bootloader of my RN9 Pro, rooted by patching the .img file with Magisk, now I would like to install a custom recovery. Does installing PBR format data like Czech TWRP found in neighboring forum? And how to install it with the official Recovery, the latter is not familiar to me, I come from a Mimax2.
Thank you

Thanks! I spent hours trying to figure out why I couldn't flash anything, unmounting vendor fixed it instantly!
2x super with the same size.
A bug?
You can't use adb sideload it glitches and gapps aroma doesn't work
Please help me
I unlocked bootloader, then flash pitch black recovery but once I booted to recovery, I flash miui rom and then my internal data got encrypted. It's not encrypted anymore but I can't flash any custom rom using this recovery.
When I access fastboot mode, adb devices doesn't show any device. I previously flashed twrp for curtana.
I'm still able to access pbr but everytime I try to flash rom, here's the error message:
Updater process ended with ERROR: 7
An Assert failed. Please check the output above for more details.
Error installing zip file 'file-location-info-bla-bla-bla'
Updating partition details...
Failed to mount '/product' (No such file or directory
...done
Please help me solve this
Edit:
I solved it by flashing through fastboot
Guys i want to try it. I will flash it via fastboot. I dont want to lose my data. Am ı need to flash rom after installing pbrp?
Hmm, looks like this does not support dynamic partitions.
I run into an assertion error trying to install the xiaomi.eu 11.0.5 ROM.

Hello Sir and friends,
Thank you the updates.
TWRP 3.5 can flash GSI ROM now. I can mount /system partition in dynamic partition. I assume that we can flash GSI ROM with this updated TWRP with no need to use fastboot command line.
