Question No VoLTE on OnePlus 9 Pro - OnePlus 9 Pro

Hello, on my Oneplus 9 Pro there is no VoLTE button to activate and no indication sign. My previous 7 Pro has both and VoLTE worked fine. In the OnePlus Tollbox there is no option to activate the switch. My provider (Vodafone Germany) says VoLTE is activated and should work. Any fix for this???

no idea. maybe EU rom has not open that feature yet. it works in the US model in the US with both VoLTE and Vowifi

from my experience on op7pro oos11, need to downgrade to OEMLogKit_1.0-1.apk and the toggle will be there.
would you be able to activate root and go thru this method via PDC?
since engineer.apk is no longer able to open port/serial, have to root and SU and
SU
setprop sys.usb.config diag,serial_cdev,rmnet,adb
above command in terminal.

Actually my op9pro is also on the way and if above doesnt work, i would have a big problem as my telcom only supports VOLTE and no 3g.

It's in here, works fine in UK on EE.

I have no issues with Volte, it worked fine with ATT, then yesterday I switched to T-mobile and have it on Tmobile too, only switched to TMobile so I could have 5g and wifi calling which work fine with Tmobile, but on ATT I couldn`t get wifcalling and 5g with ATT.

No only VoWifi works, you don't have the VoLTE button. Check it out and turn off Wifi there will be no VoLTE sign in the top row.

I do, I turn WiFi off and it's there! You need to be in a 4g or 5g area for it to switch on.

Try root and use the PDC method. The log kit is to help u have the volte toggle

I was able to get the volte and vowifi toggles by running that command in terminal and downgrading logkit

Must I root for this?

for me in EU VoLTE works, it just isn't displayed in status bar by default. go into settings > display > status bar > icon manager and turn VoLTE on there.

Is activated there but no response

Nice I was worried that PDC don't work on op9 pro (mine is on the way)
Had to do it for my op7 pro in order to get my volte to work in oos 11.
Vowifi also not working on my op7p but I dunno if my telecom supports it.

Mine has Volte working out of the box, but there's no toggle for it. The Verizon guy said on the newest phones they're not really making it an option, because most people want it on.

[HELP] VoLTE issue

Jio sim user here. Everything was fine until I decided to move to another ROM from Community Build. Found that VoLTE is not working on any other ROM, not even Oxygen stock. I tried locking bootloader and going back completely to stock but still VoLTE is dead. Don't know what I messed up but any help would be appreciated.

if you don't have a proper reply please don't comment. I asked about VoLTE not the Jio app. I know I can use it too.
At the moment no other Marshmallow ROM for the oneplus 3 supports VoLTE by itself expect the Community Builds. All 7.0 Nougat ROMs do give VoLTE support. I myslef am on AOKP N.
Flash a Nougat ROM and you'll get back your VoLTE.
I'm on CB 3.5.3 and I can't see VoLTE settings, here two pictures:
What's the problem?
Is the "Enhanced 4G LTE Mode" On under the Cellular networks setting?
No, I haven't.
VoLTE work around on stock / CB
Clean Flash Stock / CB rom using twrp .
You first have to extract 4 files contained in the zip file attached .
Now make a efs backup from twrp
Now go in twrp>backups>device serial number folder>the most recent backup you made folder
And paste the 4 files and replace them with your efs files Then restore EFS back up only using twrp.
That worked for my friend on 3.2.6 stock who completely lost VoLTE , tried every thing found this solution by hit and trail hope it works for you as well.

Misleading
I can't find the cellular network settings options after the nougat update on my OnePlus 3
Did you try stock Nougat? I can no longer see the 'VoLTE' icon in Nougat but voice calls work fine without the need of any app. In Marshmallow VoLTE icon used to appear. If you see '"Enhanced 4G LTE Mode" option in cellular settings menu VoLTE should work.

Maybe im selecting the wrong option but even though i ticked the enhanced lte option im still not getting VoLte on nougat.
As soon as I initiate a call it automatically drops to 3g.

Strange. Not sure why it is happening so. I got a Nexus 5x running Nougat too and it also doesn't show any VoLTE icon but everything works fine. Data, VoLTE calls etc.

I'm on CE 3.5.3 and I can't see VoLTE settings, what's the problem? I broken it changing from stock/FreedomOs to CE?

I dont see any option to enable VoLTE on official cm nightly.
Can you post your screenshot with the option.
what about cm14?
Yesterday I flashed RR in my moto g3 and thereafter the option of enhancing VoLTE isn't available there in network setting. I tried *#*#4636#*#* to edit VoLTE provisioned Flag but it always be Turn Off VoLTE Provisioned Flag. Should I go out there for any other Custom ROM or any trick to solve my matter? Please Reply. Thanks in advance.
Initially I am also faced the same Volte issue, but after doing below process I got the option.
Go to Dialer and type *#*#4636#*#*
Go to Phone information. Scroll down to OEM specific info/settings.
Turn on volte debug.
When you now go to Settings / Sim cards / cellular network settings you'll be able to see the Enhanced 4g lte mode.

The devs just have to turn volte flag on. Don't know why they don't do it.
It's just one line to add.
I think most devs just compile from source. And don't want to tinker with the code anymore.
That's what I think, maybe there is some other reason.
Would see if I can make volte enabling zip for all roms.
Guys I turned on by Editting build prop, just add the following if your ROM does not already have it, if it does use text editor to change values, I use Root explorer
Make changes at own risk, after editing make sure you save changes it will make an automated backup of build prop
#ifdef VENDOR_EDIT
persist.dbg.ims_volte_enable=1
persist.dbg.volte_avail_ovr=1
persist.dbg.vt_avail_ovr=1
persist.data.iwlan.enable=true
persist.dbg.wfc_avail_ovr=1

Then it might not be supported by your carrier

VoLTE is controlled by carriers, I assume by imei, and choose and decide which phones get the feature, mostly the overpriced model sold by them.

How to enable VoLTE on Android Oreo? (EU Version)

Hello,
i got an Europe HTC 10 and want to use it on the german carrier Telekom (t-mobile). With Android 7 there wasn't even anything about VoLTE in Settings. But since android 8 i and i juste the *#*#4636#*#* combo to get into the phone settings, there are the following points:
Mobile Radio Power (Turned on flag)
voLTE Provisioned (cant be switched, is grey)
Video calling Provisioned (cant be switched, is grey)
Wifi calling Provisioned (cant be switched, is grey)
So got anyone the same screen, and are there any ways to get this to work?
If rooted with magisk, try and flash module for volte enabling.

Question How do I enable VoLTE?

Hello,
How do I enable VoLTE as its not working? I used voenabler, went to *#*#4636#*#*, IMS still disabled.
My provider is Telkomsel (Indonesia).
POCO F3 running LineageOS 18.1 (Android 11) , rooted, twrp and magisk installed.
What can I do to make VoLTE work?
Manually add the IMS APN
Create an IMS APN
Settings → Mobile Networks → Access Point Names → Add
Input IMS settingName: ims → APN: ims → APN type: select IMS

Yes, my provider supports VoLTE and also specifically supports POCO F3 VoLTE.
For the APN type, when I type "ims" i cannot click on it, but when i type "default" or "default, ims" or "ims, default", it shows as an option, but i'm not sure if that works/helps in enabling the VoLTE feature

Update: I tried using 2 other different operators (Indosat Ooredeo and XL Axiata), and I managed to get a "registered" status on IMS by tinkering around the settings (turning off VoLTE, mobile data than turning it on) but VoLTE shows "Unavailable", and after a while the IMS also goes back to Not Registered.
Do I need to download/flash some specific software to make it work, related to Qualcomm or some carrier firmware?

Interesting. I guess I jjust have to wait. Because 1 of the operators that use 4G only, when I use that, I can make VoLTE calls. But when I use other operator that has 3G 2G as well, it cant make 4G calls
Maybe you need to contact your provider as from my case phone supported volte provider support it but they need to turn it on for your number.... It's not like you insert sim and it enable by default...

Question Getting wi-fi calling to work

I have enabled wi-fi calling on the phone (5G version). The feature is enabled with the mobile operator. However, it does not work. The operator blames Xiaomi and claims that they have not fully implemented this feature on this specific model.
Can someone confirm or deny that this feature is not working with Android supplied by Xiaomi?
If indeed the operator is correct and Xiaomi is to blame with not implementing wi-fi calling, will I be able to activate it by installing an 'independent' Android OS?
Thanks

Before installing custom ROM, I would like to verify that the MIUI of Xiaomi does not indeed support wi-fi calling.
Poco F3 with Wifi Calling is working properly here. I can make and receive calls in Airplane mode with WiFi enabled. Your mobile operator should have this phone added to its "supported" devices list.
