Question North America Stock boot.img 11.2.1.1 LE15AA needed for OTA, any chance anyone has it? - OnePlus 9 Pro

I know there's thread with 11.2 stock boot.img out there, but I don't think that would work on 11.2.1.1 AA.
My 9 Pro now stuck on 11.2.1.1 Build, I think I accidently Fastboot Flashed a EU stock boot.img. (Only Fastboot boot for me in the future )
Not able to OTA update since then.
Until Oneplus posts a FULL ROM on the support page, NA11.2.1.1 AA stock boot.img might be our(whoever lost their 11.2.1.1 AA stock boot image) only chance to get the system updates installed.
Figured posting this thread, just in case anyone out there might have North America Stock boot.img 11.2.1.1 AA.

I'm uploading now and will post a link, both stock and patched.

Thanks a lot for the files.
Sadly OTA still won't even download.
Guess have to wait for the full rom.

Bro, if you download payload dumper and the newest python, you can extract boot images from official Full zip OTAs anytime you want. I didn't think I could learn how to do it, but I forced myself and it turns out to be really easy

I tried the boot.img. My 9 Pro still won't download the OTA. So I guess for Global(NA), 11.2.1.1 AA, this method does not work.

Thanks for the tip. The thing is there's no Full OTAs for Global 9 Pro. I think currently Oneplus only provided them for EU and Indian variants.

This is widely known, bro. It's also widely known that the EU and Indian variants work perfectly on a North American OnePlus 9 Pro. In fact I have 11.3.3.3 flashed to my North American 2125 as we speak. OnePlus rarely if ever releases the full OTAs for AA.

What carrier do you use if you don't mind me asking? Getting 5G on your device? They claim that we must use AA to have US carrier 5G working properly and I'm not sure that I buy it.

The update is available now. https://www.oneplus.com/support/softwareupgrade/details

While I don't have it, if you're having issues, you could always try going to 11.2.2.2 instead?

I think OP meant to ask for Stock boot image for Global 11.2.1.1 AA.
My 9 Pro too stuck on this Build, due to Fastboot Flashed a supposed to be global version of the stock boot image(Most likely it's not Global version, ,maybe EU). Question Global Variant Updates

So is one plus just not going to release full versions of OxygenOS for AA model? Basically no way to update to 11.2.4.4 on Global model as far as I know...
yeah man I know I'm still on 11.2.2.2 waiting on a full update because I'm rooted.
Global always seems to take longer for it's updates
I got the update on Global a couple days ago for what it is worth.
Really where are you located? Carrier?

What do you mean "release"? On their download page? They always take ages to put build on there (if they even do).
If you want a full release then install Oxygen Updater and set it to your regional OP9P then set full update, you'll usually end up getting it downloaded quicker than OTA

I do. The latest full update Oxygen Updater is showing is 11.2.2.2. I have 11.2.3.3 (because I rooted after installing that OTA) and I HAVE the 11.2.4.4 OTA already, but I can't install it for obvious reasons. Hence the original question. There's no way to update a rooted Global Variant without going back to stock.
I received it a few days ago. 2125 on TMobile..

Nope your right sorry. I was thinking about the tmo version. Carry on.
People need to stop saying they got the update for 11.2.3.3AA and 11.2.4.4AA. We are all talking about the Full OTA as many of us are currently rooted on 11.2.2.2. Those that are on 11.2.3.3 or 11.2.4.4 are either unrooted or are using the EU/In versions. I for one will wait until AA is available.

Exactly incremental OTA, I stated about the Full OTA. 11.2.3.3 and 11.2.4.4 are not out yet, and people have mentioned not being able to even install the incremental OTA. I for one haven't tried to unroot, take the incremental OTA and re-root. Payload dumper will not extract the boot.img from the incremental OTA therefore I can not re-root. Can I ask how you re-rooted without having the untouched boot.img to patch and boot?

OOS 12 OB 2

Strange, it seems to me that this forum has completely died. Considering that Oneplus 7t is already an old device, I can understand that. But no one, absolutely no one comments on the new update that came out, OOS 12 as OB1 and very soon after OB2. Bearing in mind that Beta 1 and 2 were released for the Indian version and not for Global or EU... Does anyone have any experience and what are their first impressions? Can it be used as a daily driver on this device? Does Magisk Roor work? OOD? Did you so complete whipped all data before flashing? Can you install it over Ob5 (officially it suggested to flash it over latest stable version)? Did anyone install it on EU or Global variant 7t (again, officially ther is significant difference on Android 12, between India and Global/Eu variant)?

Ob2 fixed dead fastboot mode on ob1. Works great for eu or global OP7T. Very stable and perfect for DD. Keeps data if "local update" (download file via oxygen updater app). Rooting via magisk-patching boot.Img and then "fastboot flash boot magiskpatchedboot.Img" works fine. This "IN" version does not have IN bloat and meant for all op7t. After update booted up fine then do it again to install ob2 into slot B.

How is battery? Speed? Benefits and cons, compare to OB5 oos11 ?

OnePlus/Oppo have decided to lock the MSM Tool behind a technician login. Now that devices can't be easily unbricked, would-be devs are either moving elsewhere (and have been since the 10 Pro and 9RT released with this restriction) or can't get testers willing to have to pay to fix their devices if they brick.

It's sad really. I was shocked to see that the US model has dual physical SIM + eSIM. I definitely would have considered it over the S23 Ultra I ultimately ended up buying if not for the MSM issue because if my OnePlus 9 had dual SIM or pSIM+eSIM, I would have kept using it instead of getting the Pixel 7 Pro but I wanted dual SIM.
Coming from the OnePlus 9 where I got *intimately* familiar with the MSM Tool after bricking my phone a bunch of times (which if you check my signature, I rooted every single one of my past Android phones and never managed to hard brick one like that until the OnePlus 9 so it speaks volumes for how poor their bootloader is programmed that it's so easy), even making custom mods for people with unique bricking situations so they could recover their phones too, I'm not going to buy one without that option. I mean even if I left it stock like I'm going to have to with the S23 Ultra (can't be bootloader unlocked in the US as usual), I've seen too many people report having bricks while locked just from taking updates. Just isn't worth the risk.

There is no double SIM +eSIM.
If you install eSIM, the second SIM (physical) slot is blocked.
So in this case you will have SIM + eSIM.

This is the reason why I went back to my OnePlus 7T from a newly purchased Pixel 7 Pro - I need the ability to utilized both SIMs with seperate RingTones for business purposes, it still doesn't work 100% (everytime) on the P7Pro using AutoMate and this would be an easy fix for Google Developers.

but I think that the op11 will run the same way now and in the future (make an update and flash magisk in the inactive slot)

It was the same for oneplus10? Magisk flashed in twrp and fresh system update? I come back from really old XDA times. I am not interested in custom roms as OP, just root

Question Error trying to update via OTA

A few weeks ago I bought the Oneplus 11, now that the latest version Global A.07 has come out, I get the following error, I have tried with Oxygen Updater and I still get an error when updating, I have automatic updates enabled from the developer options.
The model is CPH2451

If you're still on A.06 and trying to update to A.07 (and you're rooted on A.06), then you need to flash the stock A.06 init_boot.img before updating. Not 100% sure, but believe that someone posted the stock A.06 init_boot.img for the US version in one of the other threads on here, if not maybe you can ask in those threads if anyone has the unpatched A.06 init_boot.img as only way to do incremental update is if your system is stock. It's the bad part about the US only getting incremental updates instead of the full packages like every other region does.

I have the same issue, newly bought Oneplus 11 totally can't update at all. May I know how you solve it?

View the thread here. It has the stock A.06 and A.07 init_boot.img. You can flash which ever one you're currently on then update. I would also recommend following that guide to root the US version of the 11 in the future.

Thank you for your reply.
Do you have the guide how to convert from CPH2451 to others?

No problem, also wouldn't personally recommend converting. You risk bricking for little to no advantage and if you do brick there's no free way to recover (as MSM is no longer free and open). I would just stay on 2451 and use that guide for updates.

I have tried it, but failed. End up black screen + boot loop.
Then flash this file oplusstanvbk.img able to boot back CPH2451. Don't know why.
