install :using twrp 2.3.4 beta...fomart dada.wipe ...then rebot..install rom then rebot.then istall gapps and magisk,.,,,
finger print is good like rest of roms
i like green and black theme
delay on swipingdown for notification center
lag animation while swiping up for app drawer( a litttle)
at first both were too laggy..then these bacame much smoother
i can fell lag on this rom every where
i did installed pixy, pixel,oxygen and in best situation oxygen os was so much smooth..then pixel.then pixy then this rom...need to work more to get more smooth expreince
so thats enough for me..lets try crdroid 6.9 xd

NFC is grayed out and does not work.

Any pictures? have working led, cast, or any floating picture options. All roms are missing that tbh i love it on the miui12. so far i've never found another room who has that feature

yea the stupwizard crashes sometimes on first boot and sometimes not, and for some reason i cant remove it i need check this again

It's a tradition to root my Samsung devices.
However The s20 (831b) is a pain in the ass.
After one week trying ALL available rooms on this forum still no root and no costum rom!

In last build , when updating with dirty flash Fingerprint not working.
I made a fresh install and the fingerprint option not appear in install process. Only PIN acept.
Please do OTA updates if possible.

Hi, vibration doesn't work on my device too. I've checked it on logcat. (Not sure if post it here or else)

It seems that the rom has been discontinued for the Mix 2, but DotOS has released a GSI version. does anyone know if it is possible to update this rom directly by patching the new GSI version?
I have never used GSI roms and am very hesitant.

Installed v5.0.1 from official site, vibration does not work, everything else works fine

I confirm that it is possible to upgrade to DotOS 5.1 using the GSI image, but unfortunately I have not been able to get the camera working.
I'm moving to LineageOS 18.1 for the stability, but it's amazing how nice and good DotOS is. I hope in the future the developer will continue to support the Mix 2.

some firmware checker apps are out there in playstoe and an option is there in orfox recovery also , if both the ways didnt help you just flash required firmware you want , it gets updated

I am on lineage is 18.1 now with magisk 23 installed with only 4 modules Dolby,energized,audio compatibility patch and migsik hide props

Do you know how to enable Notification Bar transparency (without blur)?
Edit: Also how to change the background color in dark mode?

Which Custom Recovery like TWRP, Orange Fox & other are you using. Do I hv to update my custom recovery. I am currently using orangefox vR10.1_5 which is based on TWRP 3.3.1.

but im getting error it says ERROR installing ZIP file. Same thing on dotOS-R-v5.1-juice-OFFICIAL-20210529-0625.zip. Havent had any issue flashing other roms. Any idea? The recovery log doesnt give any more info sadly.

Can anyone share how's the gyroscope performance with this ROM?
I just got the phone and it's great, but the gyro's delay is killing it.

I think you have to flash the Android 11 ported MIUI ROM first, since there is the required Firmware in order to run and boot the DotOS ROM since it is build on Android 11. The ported MIUI ROM can be founded here:

haven't noticed any bugs on the latest build. Only my tiktok get stuck sometimes but it happens on different roms too

its in the thread. you should try to read more as flashing custom roms might be dangerous on your device if you don't read instructions properly

One question though, how can I enable 3 button navigation? I can't find the option for it anywhere.
I'm running the GAPPS build, on Resmi 9T.

Thanks, really appreciate it. I want review dot OS rom (newbie viewpoint), eye catching design, easy customization and good battery saving than other rom, but there are no option to enable 3 button navigation and no games mode like crdroid. bugs that i found : glitch screen when scroll on a browser or a web page that contain video.
