Question Unexpected Shutdowns - Xiaomi Poco F3 / Xiaomi Mi 11X / Redmi K40

Hi,
since 2 days i have the problem, F3 is suddenly powered off..
Story:
i got F3 on Thuesday.. everything was fine!
On Wednesday evening, i turned on "double tap to wake / sleep".
On Thursday morning, i noticed the phone is powered of.. this happens 3 more times until 1 P.M.
I turned "double tap to wake / sleep" off, and the phone didn't do this again.
But today at 9 A.M. the same happened again..
Anyone else with this unexpected shutdown problem?

I received my phone yesterday and it just shut down while it was not in use. I didn´t turn on DT2W but just removed a few MIUI apps through ADB. Can`t wait to install something else than MIUI

A lot of threads of this issue were post on China forum, someone said it may be caused by hardware. BTW, you solved it already?

My workaround was to Turn on AOD. But since 12.0.5.0 i switched off AOD.. Not happend anymore.. so i think 12.0.5.0 fixed it.

No problem yet with update...i'll see this night to be sure.

ISSUE: Random clock change by itself

Since I've bought my Arc (11 weeks ago) the clock has changed 3 times by itself causing the alarm to not sound.
1st Time I thought it was caused by me setting it to update from the network.
2nd Time I checked what apps were running (just the std), clock was set to manual... so I set the time correctly... when I restarted the phone the clock changed again.
3rd Time today, it displayed Wednesday 03:45, instead of Friday 08:45... so I just restarted it and it went back to the correct time. I check the clock now before going to bed and it was good at 00:05.
Any help on trying to resolve this would be appreciated... just so I don't get to work late .
Thanks.
Had the same issue too, also if I turn off the phone and turn it back on.........the time and date would be reset.......very weird!! What cause this to happen and any solution? Cheers

Exactly the same with my German non branded, simlock free, non rooted and still boot-locked phone with the latest software
I've also had the same issue but thought it was specific to my phone. I'll forward this onto my ADM for you and see if I can get an answer!
Damn phone did it again today... 5 days later.
Displayed 00:52 instead of 08:52.
It always happens when the phone is in flight mode.
happened 4 times now and probably always during flight modus, now use a old really cheap Samsung phone to wake me up on time....

[Q] Note 3 Neo n7505 16gb Problem please help!!!

Hello,
I have a big issue with my note 3 neo. The phone randomly turns off on its own after it drops below 40 % battery. The issue seems to have started after i updated the to 4.3 jelly. When it turns off the buttons will NOT respond, the only way to "fix" it is to remove the battery and after that it starts up fine, but this happened 6-7 times in the past month. Does anyone have any idea what might be causing this ( SW, HW )?
Thank you.

Did you disable Samsung DVFS? If yes you want to try enabling it back. That resolved my phone turning off by itself when charging on AC charger.
Edit: I spoke too soon. My phones's auto shutdown when plugged to AC charger problem still there. Need to do a hard reset to see.

I'm having the same problem, the phone is completely stock, haven't dropped the phone or anything, bought the phone like 3 weeks ago. I also see a green led, not sure if it's a notification. When I saw that I thought maybe it's some power save function. But I simply just can't turn the phone on, the battery needs to be removed to start up. So I just mailed Samsung, waiting for their reply
My wife's phone has the same issue. Any update on this from anyone?
Mine also turns off when charging.

the problem is that it stays on the screen with the logo and can't access to menu. View image.
Press and hold the up volume, Home button and power button togeather until the phone gets restarted. This will take you to recovery mode.
In recovery mode use volume keys for up and down navigation and power key to select. Still if you have any doubts Search for recovery mode in youtube

Zenfone 2 Restarts when not charging

Hey folks, fiance has a Zenfone 2 that has been flashed with RR.
Out of the blue, the phone started restarting/turning off.
I've wiped it since and reinstalled RR which didn't help.
I've noticed that if I disconnect it from the charger, as soon as the battery level dips below 100% it will either restart or turn off.
I've been unable to find this issue elsewhere. Maybe someone here has an idea?
Thanks!
I had the same problem and don't have Idea of how to fix that.

OnePlus 3 sometimes unresponsive after sleep - Sleep Of Death (SOD) issue, any fix???

My OnePlus 3 is about one and half years old, bought from india. Recently I have updated to Open beta 31 by experience os. I also tried the z unleashed ROM. Then again gone back to experience os based on 5.0.1 . After some days my phone was crashing sometimes, also sometimes it was becoming unresponsive after going sleep.
∆ I looked for this issue in the internet and came to know that it is called Sleep Of Death Issue. I'm my case the symptoms are:
1. The mobile goes unresponsive after going to sleep, it doesn't do anything when power button pressed or fingerprint pressed.
2. The mobile stays black and little warm. Sometimes if battery low the red led was still blinking.
3. There is no connection to network, the mobile seems dead.
4. To wake up the phone I have to hold down the power button to turn it off. Again hold down to turn off. Sometime have to insert the charging cable, otherwise nothing happens.
∆ I have seen in forums that same happened with Nexus 4. Some OnePlus users also reported this issue. But nobody has found a sure solution to fix.
∆ Following some suggestions I have downgraded to oos 5.0.1 and 4.5.1 by urooting and going stock. the Sleep Of Death was still happening in both.
∆ Then I followed the hard brick recovery method to go back to oos 3.1.2. but sleep of death was still happening.
∆ Then I formatted all partition by twrp and flashed freedom os based on oos 4.5.1. It was ok for one day and then SOD started again.
1. I have tried Ex kernel, bluespark kernel. No fix.
2. Tried turning off doze, pocket mode. No fix.
3. Tried z unleashed ROM at first but no fix.
4. Tried turning off WiFi, removing sim card. No fix.
∆ Now I am using SOD killer app from play store which prevents the processor from going to deep sleep. There is no sod for one day now but it consumes battery so it's not a solution.
So does anybody have any solution plz help me. I am very disappointed because it is my primary device. Thank you in advance.

Question LE2120 Restarts while vibrating

Hello,
I have got a second hand LE2120 device. Everytime it vibrates, it restarts the phone. Even if I turn off the vibrates it happens randomly 2-3 times in a day.
The guy I bought the phone said that it happened after upgrading OOS 12, however I don't trust him. I wonder if anybody face this issue before? Is it software problem or hardware problem.
Thanks for your help..

Flash your phone with MSM tool, if it keeps happening on OOS11 too, you bought a defective device.
Mine power off it self. Nothing workt untill i use MSM tool.
Any other experience?
