[SOLVED] Mi Lite 10T 5G - Windows 10 fastboot drivers? - Xiaomi Mi 10T Lite Questions & Answers

EDIT: Re-installing the Mi PC Suite without the phone connected appears to have fixed this. Leaving here if anyone else is struggling.
-----------------
Hi all,
I'm trying to unlock the bootloader on my 10T 5G Lite, but I've been at this for hours now - I cannot for the life of me find the correct drivers for my Mi Lite 10T 5G for Windows 10 x64. No matter what I do or install, I just get a ! next to a device called 'Android' in device manager.
`fastboot devices` returns nothing.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I'm running windows 8.1 and already been playing around with several drivers, tried to force install some, but no luck either. Does anyone have a solution for this? I saw some people had problems with win8, and others didn't, been looking for something for 2 hours now, would be nice if someone could help out. Thanks! :good:

Windows 8.1 is the culprit dude. win 8 and 8.1 are different. My Gio works with windows 8 but it shows exactly same error MSG on win 8.1
Heh, that really sucks. So weird though. I got no problem with other Samsung devices in DL mode and I thought they all used a similar protocol.
On my way to an internet cafe I guess, hope they don't get mad.

Try selecting MTP or file transfer when usb id connected.
Try selecting this as well in developer option.

On 19 March 2020 unfortunately i tried to open an app,app crashs and phone rebooted automatically(Bootloader is locked). It happened with me 2-3 times at last phone was stuck at Mi recovery and then i thought maybe hard resetting the phone can fix the issue, ever since i did the hard reset it just stuck at 99% and now i can't access the mi recovery. It can go in fastmode,Edl mode but can't go in recovery mode.I don't know the cause of the problem because i was using my phone normally.I tried flashing miui 11.0.3 fastboot rom using edl method but didn't fixed the issue. No matter what i do phone starts with erasing screen.May be its hardware issue. Please Help Me to revive my phone.
First question
Is ur bootloader unlocked, if yes then flash latest global stable 11.0.3.0 via mi flash tool
If not,
Is ur phone under warranty?
If yes u can visit service center and they will check out if its hardware problem or something else
I think it's a hardware problem and why so many redmi note 5 pro users are getting this same issue ? what's the cause of the problem?they really need to fix this issue. It's destroying redmi note 5 pro.
