Very nice and great recovery.
The best recovery I've tried! Good job!
can anyone help me my zenfone is in bootloop RN.
I flashed Orange Recovery on my device. There was a screen which says "Data Partition is encrypted" so I entered the correct password and then clikced okay. After that everything was fine until there was an error message saying "Unable to Mount Storage" then there's another screen which it says "Updating" but then it crashed. I tried to see what's on the log but after seeing two red lines which clearly states "Failed to" [can't read anything else because it crashes the moment those lines appear] Can someone help me?

Team Win Recovery Project (TWRP) is an open-source software custom recovery image for Android-based devices. It provides a touchscreen-enabled interface that allows users to install third-party firmware and back up the current system which are functions often unsupported by stock recovery images. It is, therefore, often installed when flashing, installing, or rooting Android devices, although it isn't dependent on a device being rooted prior to installation.

It's a recovery, why do you need it to be a flashable zip?
If you want to flash it on-device without a PC you can use a terminal like so:
Bash:
dd if=/path/to/your/twrp.zip of=/dev/block/bootdevice/by-name/recovery bs=4M

Thanks a Ton for this TWRP.
It worked on my Redmi Note 9 Pro Max V12.5.5.0. Android 11.
Internal storage is still encrypted on MIUI.
I hope there will be some some solution to it in near future.
I tried flashing Disable_Dm-Verity_ForceEncrypt_03.04.2020.zip, still files are showing encrypted.
Files on SD card are not encrypted, just for your informaion.
As a work around for flashing ZIPs , I'm connecting phone to PC and transferring zips to SD card and flashing in TWRP. It works.
I think it could take TWRP backup (current rom) in SD card. I have to try this.

This is TWRP 3.6.X for all miatoll devices.
This works with curtana, excalibur, gram and joyeuse.
This does NOT work with the MediaTek Note 9!
WARNING! THIS RECOVERY ONLY SUPPORTS FBEv2 ENCRYPTION FOR THE TIME BEING.
THIS MEANS THAT IT WILL ONLY BE ABLE TO DECRYPT LINEAGEOS BASED ROMS.

If it's not encrypted I'd assume It'll work just fine
Is there/will there be support for decrypting using unlock pattern instead of PIN or Password? I have LineageOS 18 installed but I cannot update currently because I use an unlock pattern but when I try to decrypt data the only option is to enter a password...

Thanks for this
How to backup your ROM?
Will there be a custom rom for this phone?
Works for Android 12 (Realme UI 3.0)?
Guys, don't do anything to this phone, I bricked mine and now it has no fastboot, no recovery, and even no way to flash it using SP Flash Tool! There are no authentication bypass for this phone. You will be left with a brick.

Hi,
Does this version work on the x1s (SM-G980F) running A10? Although the instructions indicate that it does, the flashable zip file seems to be dedicated to the z3s.
Thanks!

Works fine, looks amazing, but one thing that im missing and its also not possible in the basic twrp is:
other partitions in recovery script.
Im using tasker to backup my phone automaticly when an usb stick is inserted.
but only for those: (taken from openrecoveryscript-java)
if (system) mCommands.append("S"); if (data) mCommands.append("D"); if (cache) mCommands.append("C"); if (recovery) mCommands.append("R"); if (boot) mCommands.append("B"); if (androidSecure) mCommands.append("A"); if (useCompression) mCommands.append("O"); if (createMD5) mCommands.append("M"); if (TextUtils.isEmpty(foldername)) { mCommands.append(" " + foldername); } mCommands.append('\n');
i need the other partitions:
efs
drb
and so on

Very nice your project! Just explain me why when I presso "console" it reported the cryptography status is "unencrypted", but /data is encrypted. I don't understand.
Another question: I'm using A13, last fw release (april 2023). /data is encrypted and I want to unencrypt it, but I want to avoid to cancel and reinstall everything for the 5th time in 1 week.
So, is it possible to backup /data partition, to restore if I need to erase it?
I know that inside /data partition there are my data (the root folder of phone, I mean /storage/emulated/0). Is it possible to save/restore only that data from PBRP? Or there's another way?
This looks extremely neat my man,
really appreciate it

Simply: if you use TWRP you can't open the directory, if you use PBRP you can open the directory and you will see the name of files with strange characters (exactly as I saw on twrp of android 11 on my old moto g7 plus using twrp).
