This is one of the few custom roms that supported aliothIN out of the box with Official tag. It runs smoothly without any major hiccups with its Initial build. Kudos to the dev. hope to see more refinements made in the device side changes.

wow wow wow look who is here !! this is the best rom on performance !thank you very much

Thanks for the ROM, it's smooth and fast af, but unfortunately has the same issues as 90% aosp roms for alioth.
1. Auto-brightness works with a huge delay when you take the phone out of the pocket in a bright sunny place. Screen is at minimal brightness for about 3-4 seconds. Plus the maximum brightness doesn't seem to be as high as on MIUI-based ROMs, and even the auto-brightness seems to be set for lower values all over the scale.
2. NFC only works for GPay, for any other app (when approaching a transport or bank card) the NFC module starts turning on and off on its own, like in a loop.
3. Headphones do not work via 3,5mm-to-usb. ROM recognizes it and opens the in-built Moto equalizer, but no sound at all.
I also tried flashing the boot.img and vendor_boot.img from Arrow OS ROM (it has 2 and 3 issues working). This solved the headphones issue, but the NFC did not start working.
Waiting patiently for the devs to solve these problems, thank you in advance.

Oh I did not know that, but anyway thank you, Havoc still combines a big variety of settings and great stability, very rare among custom ROMs)

The additional UI options and ambient features are indeed nice.
I'll stay with Arrow for now and keep this one on my watchlist.

Bluetooth connectivity sucks

helloo.. I press run and the console closes. any idea?

Sounds like a Windows driver issue. Open a terminal and type fastboot devices. The majority of the ROM flashing is done once it's flashed boot and vendor_boot and rebooted into fastbootd. This is usually where people have driver issues

I'm quite happy with the phone and Havoc so far.
Not sooo happy with the Kernel yet. Although, I like the standby drain, but it looks like the active drain is way higher than with Quantic Kernel. Furthermore the adaptive charging does not work at all.
The last time charging was more than 5 days ago. The battery is now at 14 %. SOT: more than 10 hours. Nice

This is a great rom, but why can't it enter doze mode, so that the standby power consumption is quite exaggerated, how to solve this problem?

Did you flash Quantic Kernel?
If yes: Flash back to Havoc Kernel.
If not: Try to find out which (system) apps prevent sleep mode / keep the device awake. For example, with BetterBatteryStats.
On my device deep doze works like a charme...

It does.
Please uninstall any custom kernels or magisk mods or any mods

When I get a call, the earpiece doesn't work (it's completely muted). I can't hear the person I'm talking to. Only when I turn the loudspeaker on and off again does it work.
When I initiate the call, everything's fine...
Can someone confirm this behaviour?

I faced another 2 issues:
1. After I charged the phone for the 2nd time without rebooting, the kernel seems to have a problem because it keeps the device awake. 11 h after full load the kernel kept the device awake for more than 7 h. After these 11 h, the battery level dropped to 79%, with only 1 h SOT. A single app was allowed to stay active in the background (foobar2000). Exactly 4 things appear in the overview of the "app suckers" that kept the phone awake: Kernel (7h), foobar2000 (1h), Android System (6min), Phone services (1 second). I don't understand what's going on here.
2. The other problem is the proximity sensor. If I don't lock the phone manually when I'm talking to someone, my ear is constantly "operating" the phone. However, I don't think this was a Havoc-only problem, but affected all OS, right?

Yeah we're having problems with that on AICP. It's either the dialer or the device tree not working properly with AOSP dialer. Google dialer or another dialer should work though

Also, the nightlies support LVM for partition remapping, which allows the two internal data partitions (/sdcard and /data) to be merged into one that uses emulated storage for /sdcard (Android's standard method for ICS and later). Details can be found at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=55081626&postcount=546 . LVM is significantly safer than other partition remapping solutions as it does not actually alter the underlying partition table. As a result, switching layouts is MUCH faster than methods which remap the partition table, and switching layouts is more reliable and doesn't fail in strange and difficult-to-repair ways (such as the frequent failures of another solution that can be seen in the ColorOS 2.0.2i beta thread). There's a good chance Oppo will be switching over to this method with a future ColorOS release, especially after their experiences with 2.0.2
For historical reference, I will leave the pre-nightly test builds in the Downloads section of this thread. However, these are now obsolete.
Gapps:

Omni only supports TWRP recovery, use any alternate recovery at your own risk. Official TWRP for this device is:

Anyone flashing this should know the usual installation drill... Flash in recovery, flash gapps, wipe data/factory reset. If you don't know how to do these things, this package is not yet ready for users like you.
Thanks go to the following people for their help during bringup:

Current status as of 05/20/2014:
GPS works
Wifi works
Cellular radio works (data and voice calls)
Basic camera/camcorder functions work
Bluetooth works (tested with Google Glass and an OBDKey)
Sensors work (except for Google Camera Photosphere - see below)
Audio is flaky - Mic does not work in speakerphone calls (earpiece only) and headsets with microphones cause the audio HAL to barf. There are probably a number of other use cases where audio doesn't work well. Confirmed working are Google Play Music, Google Maps, earpiece calls, Bluetooth calls via Google Glass (Mic in speakerphone/headphones may be fixed in the 5/30 build - won't test until tomorrow.)
Not yet implemented (need to get the basics done first, these shouldn't be too hard since maxwen did them all on N1)
Screen-off gestures for music
"Hey, Snapdragon" voice wakeup - gotta talk to xplodwild about this
Superzoom mode (I'm about halfway there, it's in the 5/30 build but crashes when you take a shot, so effectively isn't really there...)
Known issues:
Rare spontaneous reboots due to the WCNSS firmware crashing (1-2 times/week for me)
Magnetometer (compass) gets "Stuck" if you use Google Camera
LPM (charging when device is off) is broken - device may charge but screen gets stuck on at the Oppo logo. (may sometimes happen when rebooting on charger)
Woot!
Here we go!
Sent from my OnePlus 7a
Finally a good vanilla build
My camera lenses produce a clicking noise everytime a camera app is closed. It didn't happen with color OS before. ¿is there any issue with it?
If you want to have a OP more attractive, i know content is attractive but picture too, here it is a simply prez from me...
You can use it freely... or trash it quickly !
Does VOCC Charging works now?
Also, 3-ring headsets do not work (ie like the headset that came in the box).
Great work guys... Running super for an alpha.
There's a typo, it's build in may, not april :good:

Since 7a also use F3 for double tap it should be as easy as adding
<bool name="config_offscreenGestureSupport">true</bool>
to framework overlay
whats also the same is circle -> F4
the rest (F5 - F9) is different to the other oppos - actually we might need to filter them
out at the moment until we add support in the framework for them

BTW, what was the story behind https://github.com/omnirom/android_...mmit/0f6126a18e85e254d15421751abe78939beab1fd - were you getting a bunch of input event spam waking up the device during suspend? That's a problem I'm periodically seeing on this device.

Thats a little help to the "ear opening notification bar on call problem"
on the F5 it can take up to 500ms from screen off because of proxy
sensor until TS suspend is done - this filters out events during that time.
Its kinda hacky and doesnt solve the issue all the time but
better then before and little effort and risk.
We dont have the issue on the N1

Wasn't that a different patch?
I'm seeing a problem where the device gets stuck wakelocked processing lots of input event spam from somewhere, or it's not properly flushing the key event queue. It's intermittent - sometimes it's absolutely fine, other times it just goes nuts.

LOL I was to much ahead and imagined another change you might
also find at some point
This one is actually obsolete AFAIKS since there is a check
for is_tp_suspended on top of the function. Think this is a "leftover"
for our properitary S2W impl that has been obsoleted

Can't wait to flash this, thanks for another great ROM. Development is growing at a steady pace for the robin.
I have never experienced performance such as this on my robin until now.. Have been seeing this Roms logo around and looked at their github the other day out of interest. Didn't realize it was gonna be built so thanks a lot, this made my day!
Out of curiosity. Is the kernel a full Lineage base or AOSP base. It's got me confused.
Yes I understand that Lineage also builds off AOSP. But AOSP builds are still optimized very differently than Laos

Thanks for bringing this ROM to the Robin. I've been using Omni for the most part since January and the thing that impresses me the most so far is the improved Wifi reception I'm getting (due to 7.1.1 blob?) After using it for 12 hours I did find a few issues:
GPS not working (using the latest 20160624 build).
When playing music and a notification comes in, the music only returns at about 10% volume.
When turning off the screen with the power button it will sometimes immediately unlock again. I can work around this using a non-registered finger to lock.
I didn't find any problem with the file manager.
Edit: status bar clock is working fine too.

Is anyone else having issues with Quick Charge not working? I realised today when i went into OWL's nest> Lockscreen and turned on Charging Current information and it's stuck at 5V and not going up to 12V (charging rapidly)
Tried stock cable + Two other confirmed working cables and chargers. I use Motorola Turbo Chargers that support three mode charging qualcomm quick charge.

Sounds like the cable / charger is shorting. Try with another ROM. If it is still happening then you need to talk to NextBit

@vikasrockz Thank you so much for this, I am using it right now, it's the best custom ROM I have found so far.
Here is what didn't work for me.
* Recorder app doesn't work.
* The adaptive brightness feature is not stable, the brightness keeps moving up and down without a real change in the surrounding environment, its too bright most of the time
* Google Play Store and Google Play Services didn't update to the latest versions from the store automatically, I had to manually install the latest editions.
* I tried multiple MGC but they don't work when switching to front video, I still have to find a decent camera app.
* Night light doesn't work with DC dimming.
Other than that everything is flawless.

DC dimming will be removed. And for the camera we don't have yet fully functional gcam yet. But you can try BSG camera it works fine. And for play store and services o didn't had issues it got updated automatically with other apps as soon as I was connected to wifi
And the recorder app is working fine I was able to record audio without any error. What difficulty you faced tell [email protected]

For the recorder, try to playback what you recorded, for me, it didn't record any sounds and when I switch to phone mic it stopped recording.
I tried BSG camera (this one - MGC_8.1.101_A9_GV1n_ENG.apk ), but when I switch the video to the front cam it crashes.

If you are on miui, then go to twrp, wipe data cache, metadata and all except internal storage, if ur having rom on external storage like otg or sd card then u can wipe internal storage also. After doing all these steps. Then flash firmware file which is around 80-90 mb. Then flash rom. Then formats data and reboot.
Hi, thanks for the Beautiful ROM, I just installed it and it's perfect, much prefer it to CrDroid which was previously my only option for my device, due to this one being much cleaner with less bloat, just have a curious newbie question, what does unofficial mean in this scenario, and what exactly differentiates this ROM from a supposedly official Pixel experience Build?
black crush issue fixed in this rom?

To become an official PixelExperience there're some pre-requisites that the developer must accomplish. i.e. you can't create a ROM and put it to be "Official" even if ot wirks excellent, and there are a couple of requirements in terms of quality and rules that must be met before applying the ROM to be an official build.
If you're interested you can check and learn the details at this URL: https://github.com/PixelExperience/official_devices/blob/master/README.md

For being official build there are some rules to be followed by Pe team that's it. No difference between unofficial and official. Unofficial is way better because we can add some extra tweaks and features from our side but in official we have to follow rules and requirements for a device.
is this rom better than crdroid for daily use and battery usages?

I've used CrDroid, The Xperience Project and this Rom, Performance is honestly nearly identical, my battery was best on the Xperience Project and worse on CrDroid, nevertheless I'm gonna keep using this as on Xperience I couldn't change my bootanimation to the Pixel one, where as this Rom uses comes with it out of the box and both Xperience and CrDroid had some preinstalled apps I deemed unnecessary and had to root my device to remove
I really like the rom but I find the AOD (ambient display) somewhat bright. The black doesn't seem like AMOLED black. It's backlit.

Blame Xiaomi for cheap display panel.
Great rom, probably the best I've tried, couple problems tho. First, as someone else said, google recorder app is not working. What I found out is that its not because of the app, it has something to do with the mic itself. Most voice recorder apps work fine but some don't. Same thing happened on crDroid as well. Second, the display doesn't switch to P3 colour mode when for example watching HDR on youtube. You can see the display going into high brightness mode but colours are not switching. Same thing in google photos with wide color gamut pictures. This tho, works fine on other roms I've tried.
One more irritating issue, probably due to a cheap digitizer not this ROM, whenever I'm trying to record a voice message on Whatsapp it deselects the mic button and interrupts the recording (as if I have moved my finger away from the screen)

Good rom so far but I have noticed one pretty major issue. Whenever sound is playing (tried on both YouTube and Spotify aswell as notification sounds) it keeps cutting out for a few seconds all the time.
Gonna try this on my Nord, YOLO

Well, I've noticed two bugs.
1) The screen dies automatically - I've been unable to reproduce this bug consistently, but I'll give you an idea of what happens: the screen refuses to turn on. The touch works, because I can feel the phone vibrating when I try to type my PIN, it just doesn't turn on, it's a black screen. I thought I'd get around this by enabling the AOD, but that doesn't really help. I'll let you know if I can reproduce this bug consistently. To get around it, I had to use adb reboot, which reboots the phone and turns the screen on.
2) Sound lag/skipping - Any media app - Spotify, YouTube, whatever - the sound skips a lot. In YouTube, this is accompanied by a noticeable video lag.
* While not a bug, it's still wacky enough to mention: The fingerprint enrollment. I'm a hygiene freak, and my phone's screen and my fingers are pretty clean, but I failed fingerprint enrollment multiple times. The guiding icon that tells you where to place your finger next is, in my opinion, superfluous. I may be wrong though.
It's not bad for an alpha build. I was expecting frequent crashes and whatnot. I'm gonna daily drive it and see what else I come across. Cheers, great work. I appreciate it.
EDIT: Another bug - Sound stopped working completely, no media, no notifications, no alarms, nothing. Reboot fixed it.
Rooting steps :
Boot into AEX recovery and sideload magisk.zip and reboot. Done.

Hello, flashing the build was not a problem. I facing 2 issue's right now. I can't pair my Bluetooth headphones it's connecting for a few seconds and then lost connection. And sometimes the dark colour sharpness/contrast at darker pictures or videos are not good. Then I found a example I will make a screenshot.

Sound like an amazing rom, gonna test tdy
So far so good! Got the phone rooted, payment apps are working, and performance is amazing. Tons of customization scattered throughout the settings. The optimized charging in the battery settings is extremely useful as I normally have my phone plugged in when I go to bed. However, I have noticed that the battery percentage doesn't decrease by each percent but by multiple percentages, is it just me? Overall, amazing ROM. gotta compare the battery to Lineage and Crdroid, but so far, a very promising daily driver ROM.

MB I COMPLETELY FORGOT. Yes, I noticed that the amount of haptic feedback when changing volume, alert slider modes, brightness, etc. was much more intricate than other ROMs such as lineage and crdroid. For example, there is a buzz and vibration for each level changed when changing volume (which other roms don't have).

I also saw that they are looking for testers?
THANKS
my remarks :
- Battery drain !?!..... and % not -linear ex :94.. 88...83 etc...
- On lock screen : Photo (gallery) message : force to close (sometimes) when open caméra app (but work)
- battery usage monitor don't dysplay app usage (only screen usage)
- Stay On with face unlock : camera open en close for check face but with or without face détected mobile goes into standby
