DLNA missing? - Xiaomi Mi 10T / 10T Pro Questions & Answers

I am very unhappy with connecting options with this phone (Mi 10t Pro)... It seems it doesn't have DLNA? Is that true?
So consequently, it refuses to connect to a wireless printer HP (tried EVERYTHING, every guide and tip there is), it won't connect to my LG TV, no screen sharing possible... Wifi direct also does not work. No problem with any of these devices with Samsung S7 and Mi 8, both quite older devices.
All the options are there in the software but no successful connection with any other device. Pretty bad for a brand new phone and not a very cheap one...
Did anyone have success in connecting this phone and to what device?

LG G3 Miracast failing

I had an S4 and a 2013 LG TV which could receive the Miracast from the Samsung S4 just fine.
I've upgraded to a G3 and it's seems to be in compatible with the LG (that's right LG) TV.
It connects, then just disconnects, no errors either side like this:-
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ck8TLBqHxoQ
I've even gone as far as to factory reset the TV, just in case (It's had a few updates since purchase).
Am I missing something (Is there a known work-around or something) or was LGs flagship phone not tested with their own Smart TVs?
Any ideas / help appreciated.

For me same constellation. Same issue.
Bevor with s4 work.
Shame LG
OnTheRoad
Same with my sony tv as well very hit n miss as is nfc
Same here I cannot use miracast or wifi direct with my new sony tv; DLNA works though
Official bug???? How can we fix it?
thank God someone finally posted the same thing as i thought i was the only one experiencing this.
g3's miracast won't connect to my Toshiba tv.
it just shows wifi direct connected, then nothing happens.
went to the mall to try on other tv brands samsung, sony and even LG but miracast won't connect.
so i gave up and just told myself maybe it's because the phone is still new.
was using version 10A.
now i'm on 10B and still doesn't connect.
Looks like LG need to fix this but still haven't addressed this with the latest 10b release
Maybe lg is not even aware of this issue? How do we submit this bug?

I have noticed this with my previous LG G2 as well. Somehow lg tv keeps loosing stability of the miracast or dlna server.
might be something related :
hidden menu > MirrorLink Test and it will Force Close.
So is there anything we can do about this? Does this problem exist in all version of g3?
Miracast works perfectly over here. Miracast on, recognizes Panasonic VT60, off we go.
I gave up and bought a Chromecast never worked for me
Verizon G3 works fine for miracast on my 2013 F8500 Samsung. Try not connecting WiFi to your router or connect WiFi on 5ghz band. You will achieve better stability in the signal. Also don't have your tv connected via WiFi. Miracast may conflict, with your current WiFi connection or interfere when on the 2.4the band, just my experience as I also use widi on pcs. The WiFi chipset varies from phone to phone, LG may use one chipset that has more issues than Samsung
Hey guys, I just found a solution for it.
First, I read the NFC tag that came with my LG TV to connect it. It asked for Tag On app installation and after that, for the LG TV remot app. Bam! Miracast is finally working on my LG TV. Probably any library was missing and now is all good!
Please try it and let me know.
Same problem here with a LG Nexus 5, Android 4.4.4.
It plays with an Asus Zenfone 4, though without sound, not sure if I'm missing some essential bits.

Try what? What does this have to do with what TV you use? What "Tag On app installation"?

Did Miracast come with your 2013 8500 Samsung, or did you have to get the Samsung Evolution Kit to support it?
I turned on the hotspot kinda thing on the tv...connected my lgg3 to that WiFi. (Tv is still on home WiFi) and it works just fine.

MZP will not connect to my Chromebook via bluetooth

I'm trying to get my MZP to connect to my chromebook via bluetooth so I can use the SMARTLOCK feature. This allows you to login into the chromebook without having to type-in a password if your phone is beside you (and bluetooth is turned on). When I go through the steps it says MotoZ failed to connect.
I've connected my phone to other bluetooth devices and it worked fine. I've also connected my chromebook to my old MotoX and it worked. Therefore, I know their respective bluetooth works. But they don't seem to work together.
Anybody run into this issue?
V20 won't connect to Chromebook Plus (Samsung)
I'm having a similar issue with my LG V20 connecting to my Samsung Chromebook Plus. When I try and connect I get one pairing request on my phone, but two requests on my Chromebook so I can never successfully pair my phone and use smart unlock.
I don't know if it my Chromebook or phone?

One device connects to Ford Sync 3 AA, but not another WiFi only device

I have a brand new 2017 Ford Raptor with Sync 3, version 3.0. I can easily connect my Samsung Note8 to it via Android Auto and it sees it immediately, connects just fine. If I unplug that device from the two USB connections, I try to connect another Android 7.0 Nougat device that is WiFi only to it, using a OBDII WiFi hotspot attached, and it connects to the internet just fine, but will not connect to the truck via Android Auto. The device is a DOOGEE BL5000, a Chinese Android device that does not have any US LTE bands, and I wanted to use a hotspot in the car to connect other devices to it on long trips anyways, so I paid $145 for an Android phone that I would use only with WiFi.
I've connected it with Bluetooth, done all the setup, and the screen shows BL5000 detected when plugging in, but absolutely will not connect to have THAT device use the Android Auto instead of my phone. My goal is to disable AA on the Note8 and have the BL5000 dedicated to AA duty while in the truck. I have tried FIVE different USB cables, two of which were factory Samsung cables, so they aren't the cheap ones, tried unplugging, plugging in, changing which USB connection type (charging / file transfer, PTP, etc), and nothing changes. The Note8 it set to just charging, so I can't imagine the setting is that important when it connects instantly. I have done a master reset on the Sync 3, had to start all over again with connections, trying the BL5000 again first without setting up the Note8, turning the truck on and off multiple times, it just won't connect.
It was said that Huawei devices for some reason won't connect to AA, don't know why or what the logic is behind that, but am I screwed with this DOOGEE BL5000? I wanted something with at least 4GB of RAM and wiping / disabling everything else but AA, Maps, Music off of it in order for it to work solely as a processor for AA that I can remove and replace, but this is becoming a headache all in and of itself.
Any thoughts or suggestions? Thanks in advance!
Hello
I'm in the UK experiencing the same problem with my new Doogee and Sync 3.

Yes and no. The Doogee would never connect, so I was refunded the purchase on PayPal because this was all I needed the device for, the seller did not respond so I got to keep the device. I since purchased a Moto G4 unlocked and it connects perfectly, immediately, and put a SIM card in it to run directly from the device instead of through WiFi only, makes Android Auto boot time much faster this way. Hope that helps!
Thanks for your very prompt reply. Glad you managed to get a solution in the end.
I previously tried a Cubot Cheetah 2 with my car to no avail. What's interesting is that my old Samsung J5 works with AA. You'd think a phone with android 7.0 would work.
Thank you again
Richard

App Gree+ (air conditioners) on Mi Mix 2

Hi friends, I have a curious problem. On my Gree brand air conditioners the application recognizes and allows you to remotely control air conditioners only if I am connected with Wi-Fi. If instead I am connected with 4G it tells me that the machines are not connected. The app works like this: I created an account and then added it to the account (cloud). From the phone of my girlfriend, xiaomi redmi note 5, instead everything works very well even with the 4G connection. It is as if from my phone the Gree server was not reachable. I've already tried resetting android network settings without success. How do you think I can solve? My phone has root (magisk manager). Thanks in advance for the help you can give me.

Probably Gree's issue. Some apps may not be optimized for each devices
Hi, the strangest thing is that until a few days ago I could connect to air conditioners remotely (4G). Suddenly it stopped working. I tried also from samsung galaxy tab 10 tablet but even from there it doesn't connect. Could there be any network settings to verify? Something that prevents devices from reaching the server? Thank you.
Resolved. This is an update of the app that creates this problem. Returning to the previous version works. Thank you.

Bluetooth problem when connecting to some devices.

The problems is quite simple and quite annoying at times, well most of the times...
I can connect to generic bluetooth devices like an OBD tester, or Sony Smartwatch, or even car audio systems but when I try to connect to my iQOS device (from the device app) I get an annoying error stating: Incorrect PIN or Passkey.
Well I thought that was weird, and tried connecting the iQOS device to my Xiaomi via the standard bluetooth settings, without the companion app and the same message popped up.
So then I thought that maybe the iQOS required a special pin or passkey provided only by the companion app, but apparently the companion app can't send the code to the device? What may be the reason for this error? On my old Sony device (Android 8.0 was the last official OS on that device) I just installed the companion app and the device would connect without a problem.
Anyone know a fix for this kind of situations? Searched all the internet and problems like this were found on Fitbit devices, but they were quickly fixed by using Fitbit companion app... So I can't connect my iQOS device to my Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite.
Yeah, I have similar experience with my Fitbit Smartwatch... no way to get it work properly "Incorrect PIN or Passkey."
I have Vivo nex s, Android 9. Same problem (((
