SM-T976B 5G working using SMART Phil. Network - Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 / S7 Plus Guides, News, & Di

I have a SM-T976B unit wtih a Hongkong Firmware and CSC which is unable to connect to SMART Phil. 5G network. I downloaded a Thailand firmware flashed it and changed the CSC to THL from TGY. After OTA firmware update i'm now able to connect to SMART Phil. 5G network.

Thanks. How did you change the CSC? (simply flashed the different CSC through Odin?) Did you have to unlock the bootloader first?

n920a change csc

hi, when i bought my n920a it had firmware 6.0.1 but with cs XSG of the arab emirates but now i can not flash this csc anymore. How should I do? also when I downloaded samsung flow did not make me use fingerprints because it said that I had done the root previously but I had already bought it so. Is there a way to root?
Are you sure your device was originally an N920A? And have you ever flashed the stock AT&T Firmware to your device yourself manually?
I ask it like that because, if you went and bought a Rooted N920A from an older firmware and then flashed a newer stock firmware to the device, you definitely removed the carrier unlocked modem and reinstalled the AT&T CSC. The firmware does try to prevent all other firmwares from being used.
You may end up needing to flash the modem from the combination firmware in order to regain your carrier unlock status, that may allow you to flash another region's CSC. But you would want to use a Home CSC version if you can. One that doesn't include the PIT file with it. The Home CSC version typically does not contain a PIT file but has a meta data folder that accompanies the cache image. The Home CSC also doesn't require a device wipe.
But if you accidentally locked your unlocked phone, I hope you didn't flash an unrootable bootloader over a rooted bootloader. But using the Combination Firmware's Modem/CP should allow you to change carriers and manually adjust APN or Cellular Settings. Although it may mess up your wifi defaults until you mess with wpasupplicant.
Thanks, I installed the latest firmware available NRD90M. N920AUCS6ERH1. Is it no longer possible to downgrade?

G950f original CSC TEL wnat to change to BTU ot XEU

I have tried various how too's without much success. I can change the CSC to a non OXM CSC but when ever I try to flash a multi OXM CSC it always comes back to TEL.
I've tried with my UK 02 sim in to no avail although I am trying to do this whilst in Thailand if that would make a difference.
When I flash a OXM combi file in AP it will flash on its own but not with a CSC file, Have I got the wrong Combi file? when i try *#243203855# nothing happens.
Also when I flash a supposedly multi csc firmware XEU, PHE, when I go into the bootloader it says single sku.
In download mode it tells me the OEM lock is Off does this mean the bootloader is unlocked? As i dont have the option in dev options.
Any help would be appreciated.

Best way to get Android 10 without waiting?

Hello,
So I am in France and it seems I won't get Android 10 update until March.
I have seen a lot of contradictory information regarding flashing firmware with different CSC, changing CSC...etc.
SO, is there a way to update to android 10 if I have the Multi CSC ROM, currently set to XEF?
Hi ondris,
You can use SamFirm tool, try to find it on xda, probably you're familiar with it. I've updated my phone, bought originally in Sweden, and I'm using it in Serbia with SEE CSC, you can use also BTU, phone will automatically detect network operator, and you are good to go. Flash it via Odin, steps are also on xda, and what I can tell you as an advice is that when you use Odin and flash CSC, you have CSC and Home CSC file. Regular CSC delete all the data from the phone, and Home CSC will save everything you installed and kept in you phone. I hope this helps you.
Thank you for the tips.
But the thing is i don't want the rom to change the csc by itslef.
I want to either change my crurent csc to one that has been updated to android 10 or flash an android 10 firmware with csc different of mine.
Can I flash SM-G960U US unlocked firmware on my SM-G960W device to get android 10?

SM-G960N Unbranded firmware.

Hello to everybody,
I have a Galaxy S9, model SM-G960N and finally the Korean Update to Android 10 arrived, downloaded it from SamMobile (The unbranded version KOO) Flashed it without problems and the phone works as intended. Only it doesn't have KOO as CSC, it has SKC, which has bloatware and it isn't the one I flashed. What gives? Why does it do that, are there any workarounds? Here's what I've tried until now:
Downloaded, and flash numerous times, no result, I don't live in Korea, I don't have a Korean SIM, phone still reports SKC.
Flashing with or without sim card inserted gives the same result.
Can't flash any other CSC, other than Korean ones, Odin spits out an error and it does not even start the flashing process.
Mix and matching different CSC with different firmware's obviously not successful.
Any idea if something can be done about this?
Thank you in advance.
You need to root it and change CSC with phone info app to KOO

I guess that's the only remaining way, but do you know why it picks SKC instead of KOO, even if the firmware that I'm downloading is KOO.
Korean CSC is a multiCSC even if you download KOO firmware you phone will use SKC that's included in the CSC so there is no different korean csc there's only one that includes the 4 csc codes
i have rooted device but i need multilanguage. ho i can debrand or add orginal languages?

i've to face the same thing mine is KTC but it shows SKC. idk what to do after did that always my device is getting overheat

Should I receive or not OTA updates with this CSC settings?

Can you let me know if with my current CSC settings should I receive OTAs?
Originally I was at TCE/TCE,TCE/TCE
Then downloaded the MXO firmware and flashed it, once reboot i've got a french message then click ok and the phone took the MXO CSC.
But not sure why the XEF is in there, Samsung pay and members are working correctly.
Note that i flashed ATCT firmware thru odin today.
You install G988BOXM1ATCT CSC which don't have TCE CSC. If you want TCE CSC you should install G988BOWA1ATCT.
XEF is referred to your 2nd sim slot you don't have any sim over there because of that it is set to default CSC which is XEF(French CSC). You will receive OTA. I think you don't have to worry about anything. if you are still worried I would suggest you should Flash G988BOWA1ATCT Firmware with TCE instead of MXO firmware.
