Question Magisk-safety net verification error / Google pay - Xiaomi Poco F3 / Xiaomi Mi 11X / Redmi K40

I can't use a credit card via google pay. Google pay writes that I have a root device even though it is marked in magisk in exceptions.
Magisk show - safety net verification error.
Please help.
Thanks

You have to hide it fully in magisk. And then reboot

Are you using stock rom? Or any other custom rom? If you can't pass safetynet, Magisk hide doesn't "hide", so we have to locate the error.

I using Stock Rom.
Fully hide, reboot And nothing change.

Flash magisk module and you will be ok

In Google Play:
Certification play protect - the device is not certified.
what should I do with it now

after flashing the module test your safetunet status.
after clear data of Goole Play Store , google Services and google Pay.And you should be good to use Google Pay.

Safety net is successful, Google play is also successful, but the payment card cannot be added - error:
request failed - transaction could not be performed. When adding a credit card.
Edit:
...the current credit card cannot be removed, it is said to be associated with some one payment method. I wanted to try removing it completely and signing in again. :-(

Dont work :-(
So for now, to sum it up:
magisk safety net is pass-ok.
In magisk I have two fix modules (screenshots) and google pay adding a credit card still not working. Still error OR-TAPSH-08.
I also read on the net that it helped someone wait 1 day and then the payment card went to add.
Next:
when I run clean and select the security check, it turns out to me that there is a problem in the payment environment.(screenshots)

Not trying to be mean or anything but, have you enabled magisk hide?
Uninstall universal safety net fix first and restart.
IMPORTANT: Make sure that you are running the latest version of magisk.
Make sure hide is on and you have selected all core Google services and gpay.
Then install magiskhide props config and restart.
Install an command terminal from the play store and type "props". You may have to enter "su" first.
Type "1" then “f”
Then follow the steps to select your phone model.
Then apply the fingerprint and restart.
If you cannot find your phone model, then ignore this step.
Go into magisk settings and click on the option to hide the magisk app. The app should reinstall itself under the "settings" name.
Restart again.
Then, turn data and WiFi off, go into settings and clear the storage/data of all Google apps and especially Google play services. Then just reflash the gpay fix (DON'T RESTART). Turn connection back on and try to add your cards as well as any nfc setup for those cards.
Then restart your phone.
Then go into Google play store, and into settings, and ensure that the device is certified.
This allowed me to get gpay working, however, I'm running a custom rom though.
You may want to carry your cards physically in case the phone doesn't work for the first month or so.

Hello.
I have a magisk hide.
For the item google services framework, if I check, after leaving and re-entering the already checked google services framework is not, the check mark does not hold.(screenshot)

Hi, sorry, I had to edit my reply several times.
Just enable them all just in case. For the 2nd screenshot, enable the hide thing. I have it enabled so the option says to restore it.

For the services framework bugthing, ignore it. The gpay fix was the one that added it. Just expand it and ensure its on

I'll try it all, thank you. I'll get back to you today

I'm tangled in it, you wrote a lot. Please send me one more steps 1 to ..... Thank you very much

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Dude, you're really a giant, it all works !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Safety net in magisk PASS.
Google play store - device is certified.
Credit card added successfully.
Tomorrow I will try payment using a mobile phone and NFC and see if it is fully functional.
I'll let you know tomorrow if the payments are working.
BIG BIG thanks

Google Now/Now on Tap not working

So I am from one of those countries where Google Now/Now on Tap is not supported by Google. But I still want to enable it anyway...Need HELP.
It says 'This account is not eligible to use google now'. I have tried all the fix available on the internet but failed. Those are specially not working because they are for lollipop or for previous versions of Android; not for Marshmallow.
CAN ANYONE PLEASE HELP??
BTW, I am looking for both Rooted/non-Rooted methods..
Have you tried xposed framework? I saw that it's available for Marshmallow. It's what I used on my N4 to activate some US-only features because I had my system set to German.

No, I haven't. But I guess that would be a worthy try.. Okay, let's just say it's an option but before Rooting, I wanna try any other possible way.. Thanks..
So it's functional for all of you guys living outside the 'supporting countries'?
I was hoping there must be a way without Rooting... I want to use Google Now, please HELP!!!

Thanks but nothing worked.. It says 'This account is not eligible to use google now'.
I have tried to access US google play store through VPN but it didn't work. And Market Unlocker may work but it requires Root, which I don't want to do this early..
I was searching for a way to get past this too. Finally stumbled upon one after hours of messing around. Worked for me, hope it works for you too.
1. First download hotspot shield or any other vpn app from the playstore.
2. Disable google play services and sign out from your google account.
3. In Settings, go to location and choose "device only".
4. Download google play services from your browser.
5. Start hotspot shield and change location to America or any place where google now is available.
6. Install google play services that you've downloaded via your web browser (Please note that you have to allow installation of apps from unknown sources which can be done in security)
7. Sign in to your google account. You should be able to activate google now under Settings > Now Cards.
8. Once activated, uninstall google play services update that you've installed or disable it again and re-enable it. (If you are able to download apps from the playstore, then you can skip steps 8 to 11)
9. Turn off hotspot shield.
10. Go to apps, search for google playstore and clear data and cache.
11. Now go to google now and select update google play services.
Google Now should work now.

NOPE. It didn't work.. When turning on Now Cards, it is disabled and says 'not available in your country'.
Seems Hotspot Shield didn't work. Probably Rooting and trying would be only option..

Will anyone make a Google apps enabled rom for the Mate Xs?

I'm very interested in buying this phone, but not without google apps like Play, maps, etc. Is anyone planning on doing a rom for the Mate Xs?
Does not work (without Root), no way (Backup or any App). And root is NOT possible without Bootloader-UNlock.
It should be possible using this method.

No, using the other method with the backup; the link provided by jutley.
It looks like everything is installed correctly but I'm completely blocked by Play Protect. I've tried factory reset to get a new gsf id and registering that as well but no dice. Seems like the id registering just doesn't work?

english please
can one help us to how to install Google app shown in Spanish YouTube in details in English.
with needed files.
Thanks.
I can try to summarize the steps I think is needed after trying for a couple of days.
(Disclaimer: I haven't actually tried it from scratch but I'm pretty sure these are the only things needed)
(Start at 10. if you already have it working but want to get rid of the errors.)
First get the files from these videos:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3MfxLUNWJr0
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sEBrOwQP_0o
1. Put the files on a USB stick (Dunno if it is needed, it might be fine to put them on the phone directly)
- (!)The Huawei folder needs to be in the root.
- You'll have 4 important folders, Huawei, Google pack, fix and newfix.
2. Go to Settings/System & updates/Backup & restore/Data backup/External storage/USB storage/17 October 2019 and then press restore.
- Enter the password it asks for (a0000000)
- This will put 2 sketchy apps on your homescreen.
3. Install all apks in the Google pack folder.
4. Run the sketchy app with a purple G and press Activate when it asks you to. Then continue pressing the buttons (really see the video for this) and restart the phone when it fails with the first spinny thing.
- Once restarted you will be spammed with errors, ignore these for now (disable sound, they are super annoying)
5. Revoke the access and uninstall the sketchy apps. It's not needed but I wouldn't leave it enabled for a second longer than I need.
- Go to Settings/Security/More settings/Device administrators and set the G app to inactive.
- Uninstall the G app and the other one as well I assume.
6. Uninstall Google Services Framework.
- Settings/Apps/Apps - search for google and enable Show system processes in the right corner menu.
- I had issues with this on my phone that it would just freeze and restart when I tried it, the solution seemed to be to clear all its data and force stop the proccess until the force stop button stopped being active.
7. Go to the fix folder and install google account manager4.0.3.apk
8. Create your google sync accounts in Settings/Users & accounts/Add an account/Google.
- Follow the instructions as you would for logging in to google.
- (!) Add all the accounts you want to sync now, I can't seem to add them afterwards.
9. Go to the fix folder and install com.google.android.gsf_10-29_minAPI29(nodpi)_apkmirror.com.apk
- Restart and after that everything should work except for a lot of errors everywhere. At this point the fist video tells you to just disable the notifications but it doesn't help for example gmail and you have to do it for every new app you install so it is pretty annoying. The google sync also broke for me after restart.
10. Install the Device ID app from the app store (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=vtechnotm.com.deviceid&hl=en)
11. Uninstall Google Play services - same procedure as 6.
- To verify that you're on the right path the version you just uninstalled should have been version 19.2.75.
12. From the newfix folder install modagain1gsm.apk.
- This is the Google Play services version 19.4.20.
- Make sure the play store still opens, it might show an error but should preferably still show apps.
13. Reinstall Google Services Framework.
- First repeat step 6.
- Install the file in newfix Google Services Framework-com.google.android.gsf-29-v10.apk
14. Start the Device ID app and verify that you don't have any GSF ID.
15. Poke around in the play store until the Device ID shows a GFS ID, see the video.
- This step feels very unscientific and sometimes it took me forever...
- If it doesn't work make sure you have Google Play services version 19.4.20 installed.
- Don't reboot your phone, it should regenerate the ID just by poking around. I got it regenerated when rebooting but then it didn't work after that.
16. You got the ID generated! Uninstall Google Play services and install the file com.google.android.gms2.apk from the newfix folder.
- Verify that Google Play services is now version 20.12.14.
That's it! Everything should work after this.
I'm pretty confident you can skip some steps here, for example you could install Play services 19.4.20 from the newfix folder already at step 3 to avoid having to reinstall once. But I'm also super unsure why all this actually works so I'm scared to change the procedure
Feel free to suggest corrections!

Yup
Edit: and there are no extra settings for MagiskHide, how is this supposed to be different?
I installed Jeff's crappy appstore, selected it in Magisk Alpha's 23016 hiding list, was able to start it without any root-detection-message and uninstalled it instantly thereafter So it should work. What do mean by extra settings for Magisk hide? I just selected it in the hiding list.
To clarify, the app store starts but hides some apps if it detects root.
Play store does the same if it detects root (currently doesn't, thanks to safety net fix). For instance, Netflix, Pokemon Go, etc..
Also noticed Netflix & such are unable to start with "Sign in ... with your saved password" flashing like crazy & unable to actually sign in.
logcat says
12-16 21:31:18.375 1505 3393 W InputManager-JNI: Input channel object 'aeeda26 com.google.android.gms/com.google.android.gms.auth.api.credentials.assistedsignin.ui.AssistedSignInActivity (client)' was disposed without first being removed with the input manager!
This is very likely a different issue... but present with 23016 canary.
Maybe I should try to reflash & try fresh

Hmm ... you must have done something wrong ... hiding works fine for me. I would suggest to:
- remove all magisk modules (and reboot)
- re-patch boot.img and download to PC
- in the Magisk app, click 'Magisk deinstall
- reboot (no root now)
- reboot to bootloader
- flash patched boot.img
- reboot
- re-install Magisk app, 'hide' the app in settings
- enable zygisk
- configure denylist, make sure that when you select an app you also select ALL services underneath it for hiding
- install USNF 2.2.0
Now check your root detection apps, they should work.
Netflix should also work (clear cache for Play Store and Google Play-services)
All is working fine for me.
I just factory reset, reinstalled magisk, added a plain account (no copy apps from old phone), enabled zygisk, added USNF, hid magisk.
Installed YASNAC (passed), reset storage for Play Store (device is now certified), installed Netflix.
Added Netflix to denylist, reset Netflix storage.
Opening Netflix -- still infinite loop of gray "Sign in ... with your saved password" at the bottom.
Pixel 6 Pro, sq1d firmware. Magisk canary (23016)
Aside, adding Google Play-services to denylist doesn't survive a reboot. There are "denylist rm" entries in the log after safetynet-fix, maybe it removes those..?

I tried it with no Play Services, and clearing Netflix storage, same thing.
This is happening specifically when my google account is on the phone and it has a saved Netflix login info.
Also tried with SD1A fw from Nov., same thing.
I tried removing the saved pw - everything is fine, Netflix works.
Re-saved the pw after logging in, logged out & opened Netflix again -- same issue (see attached)
In other words, it's not really Netflix that's the problem...

When you log out of Netflix (from within the app; click profile icon upper right; then 'log out') do you then get the app's login screen? If yes, can you log in properly on that screen?
Only other suggestion which I have is: log out of Netflix from a browser/web. Remove your Netflix password from your Google account (also on the web). Login on Netflix (browser), save password again in your Google account. Then try again on Android/phone.

Question Change Device INFO everything to make it FRESH

Hello can u help me.
I am currently using POCO F3, there is an APP called SHOPEE PH. and i am banned in using that app.
i want to use the app again without Reset / install new custom rom.
i tried using apps like device changer, etc that mask device info but i am still banned. is there a way to mask the device info that will look like a new fresh one.
what modules in LPosed should i check for it to work on shopee. i already did some research
I suppose it is not device banned but root prevention. You use magisk and you should in the newest version :
- hide magisk by renaming it
- activate zygisk
- activate enforce denylist
- add your app to denylist
- install universal safety net fix
- install hidepropsconf , restart and set correct fingerprint in termux
- remove cache and data of your app (and for playstore and google play services)
- restart smartfon
You should have playstore certified and your app working.

Question [Magisk/root/shimeko] Hiding root from Microsoft Teams and Company portal.

HI all. Keep in mind that I did my first root and install of Magisk this week for some gaming desires. I am a bit of a noob, but I had a blast learning about rooting. I was also encouraged because everything went pretty well and only took me around an hour.
Then I ran into a wall.
I use my Pixel 6 Pro to attend work meetings and track work form home or in my car. I had really grown to need this feature so I was a bit worried that I would have to reverse the root. So for the last 2-3 days I have been using trial and error and guides on how to hide banking apps. I saw so many threads that never resolved the teams issue or missed steps that I thought I would write up a detailed guide for what worked for me.
Keep in mind this is for Android 13 and a Google Pixel 6 Pro. This assumes you Rooted your phone and have latest Magisk installed as well.
Prep:
1. Go to Google Play Store settings and turn off automatic updating. I'm sure most people who use magisk do this anyway.
2. Go here https://en.uptodown.com/android/browsing and download older versions of Teams and Company portal. Not too old. You want something from just 2-3 months ago. If it is too old the phone won't let you install it but will put files on your phone that already know you're rooted.
3. Make sure you have the latest Universal Safty fix. You can run a scan to show if you meet the safety fix standard. Again I think the problem isn't safty fix so much as Company portal looks for an unlocked boot loader.
4. install Mgiskhide Props Config module and Android terminal from the play store. (You do this to put a legit looking device ID, or non unlocked bootloader ID - just encase your phone doesn't work, or has been previously detected). Its a simple process where you input some number options through android terminal to set the ID. Just follow the steps. AND MAKE SURE YOU DELETE TERMINAL AFTER YOU'RE DONE. They look for that.

5. Use Magisk hide and rename Magisk to MYJOBSUCKS
Action:
1. install Shamiko https://github.com/LSPosed/LSPosed.github.io/releases/tag/shamiko-120
2. Reboot.
3. Make sure Zygisk is enabled.
4. Make sure Enforce Denylist is OFF (This seems nonsensical but Shamiko handles the enforcement now that it's installed. The Zygisk enforcement is a conflict.)
5. Go back and install Company portal and Teams. Don't do anything in either. Don't sign in. Don't configure. Don't open the apps.
6. Go back to Zygisk and open Configure Denylist. This, I feel, is the MOST important step that makes or breaks this process. Do the following in Denylist:
MAKE SURE YOU TOGGLE EVERYTHING not just the default hides. Each hide has a submenu and for sub processes to hide.
This is everything I had to deny to make it work:
Authenticator.
Carrier OMADM
Carrier provision service
Carrier services
Certificate installer
Com.andorid.angle
Companion device manager
device health service adaptor
device policy
Gpay
OemDMTrigger
Permission controller
TEAMS
Work setup
Company portal
Google play protect services
Google Play Store
*** I Believes the bottom 5 are the main ones - the rest I just guessed and may or may not impact things 100% *****
7. Sign into Teams.
8. This will force you to sign into Company portal. If it works - not much will happen because it will look like a legit non-rooted phone.
If it fails you'll have to setup your profile in Company portal and it always fails after a 5 step process and says DEVICE NOT HEALTHY) This means you didn't deny something or you didn't reboot or something. You also need to go into your google accounts and look for your work profile and delete it and uninstall teams and company portal - I think company portal leaves files that you want off so you have to start from scratch)
9. You should be able to join your work meetings and use teams.
Ongoing:
Make sure you never update teams or Company Portal.
I don't know if this works for other MS mobile apps because I don't check my mail on my phone - but I assume just adding them to the deny list would be the only step extra you need to take.
Thanks!!
For me it works without props config and with the latest version of MS Teams and the Intune portal app. Use Shamiko (latest), configure denylist but don't enable denylist in Magisk. Magisk is hidden (some banking app which I use checks the Magisk package name).

I'm not sure what was wrong but simply doing those steps did not work for me. I had to start from scratch and that's why I wrote all this up.

This seems to be an ongoing evolving issue; especially in light of recent updates/events. There are many threads on the site here discussing it, although I've seen some that have been successful (but in various different device forums). The thread (linked below) seems to be fairly up-to-date recently updated that looks most promising...
[Tutorial] [Root] How to configure 'Microsoft Intune' to make it work with 'Magisk' (Update: Q1/2023)
Update 04.01.2023: I've updated/added additional steps to make this tutorial work again. This question was asked many times and often all the answers did not work: How do I get Magisk to work with Microsoft Apps like Microsoft Teams, Microsoft...
forum.xda-developers.com
Rooted Pixel 6A, rooted and literally <24H out of box. All I did was:
1. Hide Magisk (obviously)
2. Enable Zygisk
3. Configure DenyList (every Microsoft app I saw)
4. Enforce DenyList
5. Reboot
Portal passes device health test, and Teams works like a charm. Both are installed straight from Play Store.
