I have configured hands-free mode on my phone but after a while stop working (if I say "alexa" nothing happen). Then I configure again and alexa works as it should but after a while stop working again.
Anyone facing the same problem?

Yep doesn't work for me either
It will work the first time then the 2nd time you see the location icon appear on the status bar and nothing happens
If you press the alexa mic icon manually it will work
What I ended up doing was assigning the long press of the power button to alexa so now when I long press it it acts as my assistant and brings up the alexa prompt eliminating the need to say a key word to open alexa. (Hold the power button down even longer for the usual power options)

For those users of Microsoft Voice command on the Excalibur / Dash, I have found that "App 3" can be selected as the command button (selected thorugh voice command setup) and this will configure the home button as the voice command activation button (a long key press is needed). This substitutes the built-in voice dialing capacity with VC 1.6.
"App 6" maps to the end call button which can also be used, but you can no longer use this button as a key lock.

It works, only if BT headset is disabled, not connected!
reboot needed
perhaps you need to first reboot. After I rebooted, it worked but I did not try it with my bluetooth was connected.
Now it works all the time. Weird
odd call waiting behavior
At times, when I receive a call waiting, the phone has disconnected my first caller to take the new call. The behavior is erratic and i have wondered if VC was responsible. Have you seen this behavior?

i usually don't get call waiting, but i don't recall having this happening. i just may not have encountered it as of yet.
Voice Command 1.6 button on Dash
I remapped the pink 't' button on the bottom right-hand side of the keyboard to start Voice Command. The pink button previously opened t-zones, which I have no need for. It works perfectly and is easy to find without looking since it's the second to last button in the bottom row.

Hi,
I have the following problem with AE Button plus with my Touch HD.
I had the problem with closing the phone during i was taking it out of my pocket.
I installed AE Button plus and assigned only to the Red button a function. All is OK, when the phone is ringing the Red button is not working, but the problem is, that when i pick up, it is not working again and i have to end the call with the touch screen button and it is very annoying.Is it possible this Red button function to work only up to the moment i have answered and after that to have normal button functionallity?

why is it annoying to use the touch screen to end the call?
I would suggest to leave alone the single click of red button but instead map a double click function you want to the red button.
I've had this problem previously. I love AEBPlus and think it is probably the best app on the phone. You need to uncheck the option under 'other options' for 'drop on red key'. Paradoxically this should not be checked. When checked I cannot drop on red key but when unchecked I can end call using this hardway end key. Let me know how you get on!
The AE Button Plus didn't seem to work on my Blackstone (HD). It would work after being reset but after a while, the mapping has no effect anymore. I want to map the volume up/down button to "Up/Down Arrow" and the Long Press of the Volume Up button to run the S2U2 application. Anyone has similar issues?
I have problems with AEButton too. I assign "volume up" to turn display on/off at one click. Sometimes, it works. Sometimes, it brings up the voume control. Annoying.

That is exactly my problem. I should not have paid for the software if I knew that it works intermittently.
Do you have some taskbar installed? Try to remove.

I have a unit that is showing the red mute symbol in XBMC. I can't seem to make it disappear. I've gone into the playback settings and adjusted both the volume to 0DB and the volume boost to about 10 and yet the system is still muted with the symbol there. There is no keyboard attached to the unit and only has the stock FTV remote. Where else would I find a setting that would unmute the unit? I've looked in sound settings and everything seems correct, but I know I must be missing something... Any help would be greatly appreciated!

You can try to send a keyevent over adb shell, maybe it can help.

164 is the constant for KEYCODE_VOLUME_MUTE.
You can mute/unmute with the same command again.
Very simple to fix. Play a video and when it starts playing hit the big round button, when the onscreen controls popup go over and stop on the audio settings icon and click it, now just move the volume slider and it will disappear.

As stated in my post.... That was the first thing tried with no effect. I've rooted and programmed over 250 of these units and never had this issue come up and if it does it has always been in the sound adjustment as you stated. That is not the case with this one and yet it only affects XBMC, I've had the volume run up and down while playing a show as well as the volume boost and nothing gets rid of it. I haven't tried a "set to default" in the system settings audio section yet.... That will be my next approach I guess.

The problem is that I don't physically have the unit. I'm trying to help someone with that problem and they have never had it connected to a computer for programming. They received the unit working fine and then this happened and yet they have no keyboard attached and only have the stock remote.
It's baffling to me!
I have two suggestion. If he has a keyboard tell him to press the F8 key. If he does not have a keyboard tell him to install Wukong remote on his phone and his Fire TV and put it in Keyboard mode and press the volume buttons. He could also try yatse remote and see if the volume keys do anything to help. He can get Wukong and Yatse from the play store.

Good suggestion....but i finally got him to tell me that he had tried to install a TV program from Super Repo called "Psuedo TV Live" which in turn also installs a program called "Up Next" or something like that. After a quick glance I see that the default settings in the program are for installation in Windows! I had him uninstall it and the other program and reboot....he actually had it go away for a moment and then it wouldn't allow him to finish the uninstall because it said a program called "Back Row" was using it, but we couldn't even locate that!. Basically he just started playing and totally screwed things up. I'm just going to wipe it and reprogram it for him. It's not the first time it's happened, it won't be the last. I was just hoping there would be an easy out for it, but it doesn't appear as though there will be one.

Hello everyone, I just got my LG G4 LG-H812 and the first thing I did was download some apps. I went on youtube to look for apps that can better my experience with the phone. I downloaded the key plus app to change my volume up button to activate my flashlight instead of the quick note app. It was working fine at first but then my phone started acting weird. It was automatically answering calls and that got really annoying, so I did a factory reset to see if that would work. After the factory reset it's still answering automatically and now my volume up button doesn't work when the screen is locked. I tried reinstalling key plus and allocated the volume up key to turn the flashlight on but now even that doesn't work. The auto answer is also set to off and I've tried pretty much everything. It's getting really frustrating so If anyone out there has an answer or a suggestion for me I would greatly appreciate it, thanks.
Do you use the Circle app things?
Key plus doesn't work for me if I let the cover turn off the screen.
If I turn it off with the off button, the back buttons work fine.

I've got a new (to me) AT&T Note 4 and only after getting it did I realize I couldn't root it because.....AT&T.... Anyways, it's on MM 6.0.1 now and I'm having a massively irritating issue that I can't find anywhere else online for reference. After roughly 15-30 minutes after I restart the phone, 3 things happen simultaneously.
1: Screen rotation stops working (except when I get a notification for textra from the pulldown menu and reply, then in that reply state, I can turn the phone and it will successfully rotate). I've checked the sensors and they're fine and working properly. I can use the rotate app to force rotation successfully and it doesn't matter if I have the rotation icon on or off, it will not auto rotate which makes nav apps a pain in the butt to have to keep restarting the phone for only a few minutes of working.
2: Home button stops working to go home. The physical button still works if I long press then google app comes up, but short press does nothing.
3: Menu button stops working completely, no response at all short or long press.
If anyone has a reference to point me towards or an idea of what's happening, I would love to figure this out so I don't want to throw my phone out the window after only a week. Thank you!
