Thanks for dedicating your time and effort @ncarvalho99 to providing a port of this awesome custom ROM for Redmi S2. Been using this as my daily driver for a week now and it works great. I miss the feature that used to let me turn on the flash light by long-pressing the power button. Can't seem to find it anywhere.

Apologies. I found the option to turn on the flash light by long pressing the power button. Thanks once again.
ROM is pretty good but then it does not allow me to reboot.. once i hit reboot it just goes black screen. i have to use power button to force reboot.. anyone facing it too?

It works fine for me. Did you dirty flash it, by any chance? Sometimes that causes unexplained issues, if at all you manage to get it working. The other likely reason could be app-related, or a malaware that doesn't want you to turn off or reboot your device.

Well its a clean flash.. first boot to same issue to after a while on boot logo screen goes black. Had to force reboot then the phone booted to rom

Oh, I get you now. That's a problem with this particular ROM on our devices. You're not paranoid, don't worry Since I rarely need to reboot my phone after the initial setup (magisk modules installation, kernel configs, etc) I hardly notice this issue. But, as you say, a second "forced" reboot usually works. Maybe you could alert our device maintainer about the "bug" if you find yourself rebooting your phone frequently.

Everything else works fine. The soft reboot thing is the only issue, it seems. But using the power button to force a reboot always works.

Just use magisk and enable magiskhide. I assume you know how to root your system using magisk? The latest version of magisk doesn't have magiskhide anymore, unfortunately. You may have to use an older version.

Camera doesn't work at my device. But it can found in AIDA64. What happen?
In my opinion, the biggest defect is lack of keyboard support

Fine ROM. Just installed today. No bugs found yet except one - notification sound picker crashes as soon as I open it. Suggest fix. I don't need any notification sound.

My regards mr Raschad, i've tested your latest Pixel Experience Rom and noticed many bugs and issues within it, 1) notification lamp not working or blinking correctly when new notification recieved, 2) a small delay happens when an incoming call from screen echo and on lockscreen mode, 3) Heavy performance experience either Ram usage or cpu i bet this is caused from some google apps like wellbeing service, so i strongly suggest to not including Gapps in your next release, 4) some heating with battery drain happens occasionally also a crash happen with youtube vanced app, other than that this is my Logcat file to check it please, and thanks a lot.

Thank you for your great rom update but there are some notices :
1 - the devices sometimes when i restart device stucks in the google display page .
2 - notification led when chraging still red untill reaches 90 % then turn to green .
3 - when installing facebok app the device enters the booting loop and the same thing in the extended rom and rr rom.
4 - when use mobile data the device get very hot .
5 - when i try to change my ringtone , sound app stops and get out it is very annoying
these notices i faced till now

OXYGEN KERNEL (compulsory to boot)

First time installing crDroid to your Galaxy J7 2016, or coming from another ROM:
** Make sure you're running the Official TWRP Recovery
1) Copy crDroid zip, oxygen kernel zip & gapps zip to your device
2) Boot into Recovery
3) Wipe cache, system, & data (or just cache & system for a dirty flash).
4) Flash ROM
5) Flash oxygen kernel (linked above)
6) Flash gapps
7) Boot up
For root, AFTER you boot into the ROM, you can go back to recovery and install Magisk XX.x (whatever is most recent).
Upgrading from earlier version of crDroid:
The only difference between clean flash as above and upgrading is you just wipe system & cache, leaving data. Everything else is the same. ***Remember to always clean flash before reporting problems. Clean flashing is always the best method of ROM install.

There no such bug. Still fi you're facing it, please provide a logcat. Its a source side bug.

I have SM-J710F, and this ROM worked good.
I hold Power+VolumeDown after flashing, and booting norm.
I found 3 bugs on SM-J710FN:
1. When all animations in Developer settings turned off and I tried turn off the screen with power button, screen doesn't turn off, it just making not so bright. It's happening not every time, just with some chance.
2. Internet from SIM works not so good. I always have E instead of 4G or LTE. When I was on other ROM with Android 8 it worked good. Any ideas to fix it?
3. Oxygen kernel do not apply settings on boot via Oxygen control v2.0.0
Another bug: User switch works not good. Not all crDroid's and Android's settings come back after switching from Guest to Owner. Also android crashed on switching them the first time.

just make a backup and do a full wipe then flash the rom.
this rom have more features than global rom
im using it as daily drive, bo bug no crash... any!

Hi, I get to the mi logo and I'm in a loop, is it something to do with the latest firmware having the vendor prebuilded and if so how do I get around this? I know the havok os rom for the mi 8 provides a force encryption zip for roms after 07/06/19 otherwise they will get a mi logo loop. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

You can try some OP Cam ports, but most of them ain't working with A11 yet.
OOS framework is required to make it fully work, that's why most of the ports are semi-broken.

Installed without a hitch but was trying to turn on gesture navigation after installing, and couldn't find the option.
Stuck with 3-button navigation right now.
Is gesture navigation not available on this?

You can find nav gestures in
crDroid settings -> Navigation bar -> Navigation bar settings -> System navigation

Try powering off the phone and back on, airplane mode on then off ecc. until it works.
Not a ROM issue, been using messages fine

Factory rest phone still nothing if works on android 10 just not 11
Still no joy messages not sure why its not working
Perfect release so far only problem i had was with a faulty gapps zip with Vanced Youtube which caused a bootloop after i tried and removing it.
OP should be proud of this release for sure best android 11 custom rom for our device IMO.

Now i'm in recovery and i tried to use adb sideload, but me device tells me (Errorcode:kInstallDeviceOpenError)
Which fw should i use or how can i fix it.

I love Pixel Experience. I switched over since it was not maintaining anymore but might be coming back as PixelOs doesn't display my notification.

i reflashed MIUI and i redo the steps then finally i get into pixel experience
but finally i found it ddoesn't work well with China carriers, so i'm back to MIUI now

Installed 31/03/22 android 12.1 build on MIUI 12.5.7(IN). So far no issue with installation and basic working. ROM feels smooth.
Geekbench Result: single_core : 832 , Multi-core : 2808.
Issues:
Battery usage is not showing any graph. (3 hrs been using and tried restarting device multiple time.) now battery graph is visible.
- Android version shows Android 12 , buid says alioth 12.1 ( Not sure if its supposed to show 12.1 or not)
So far so good, love this rom

Ig that's why it shows only android 12 coz the rom was just rebased from 12.1 and the next update will be completely 12.1 ig, not sure.

I think you have to use it for 1 cycle of charge
I didn't update any custom ROM before via OTA. Is it possible to update? Or i need to reflash the zip and the phone will be reset?
Clean install + fw update to 13.0.3 and all seems working great!

a bit on the lower side compared to pixelOS, prolly bcs pixelOS have thermal profile, so it can help to boost cpu when using benchmark profile.. i really hope that dev can put thermal profile as well, bcs both r using arrow based kernel
after updating, my two pcs (win 10 and win11) can't detect my alioth in fastboot. it worked fine before. I need to install magic which only can be installed by fastboot. Anyone can help?
Is it fine to use financial application like gpay phonepe apps on this rom. And does this support work profile. Want to use for daily is it good to go for this rom?

Check your PC if it has fastboot drivers installed correctly or not.
