My OP9P (India) uses the Google dialler, and recording is available by default. The greyed-out button becomes clickable when the call connects.

I had DA India FW and never had that option and now Im on BA and still dont have it.

You can try to test this recorder (XDA). I used it on multiple devices (with and without root) and it worked everywhere if I used proper settings.
Didn't test it on OP 9 Pro yet though because I'm still working out on getting everything working on LOS and didn't decide yet if I stay there or return back to OxygeneOS.

What version / apk are you using for the Stock Dialer? I'm using the oneplus phone app aswell and it can record calls all fine.

OnePlus 9 Pro Call Recording
I use the OnePlus 7 Pro and rely on the automatic call recording that I enabled using the jOnePlus Tools. It's time to upgrade. Is there a way to activate native call recording on the OnePlus Pro 9 without rooting the phone? Thank you.

call recording app

Has anyone found a call recording app that actually works on our phones? I have tried 6 or 8, most of them "are not compatible with our devices". One I found (Total Recall) may work, but not having an engineering degree, I could not at all figure out whether it does.

Call recorder

I second the one above ( I think it's the same as this ):
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.skvalex.callrecorder
I've tried easily 10 others, including Total Call Recorder. Skvalex's was the only one that worked flawlessly, and the customization is great. If it complains to you about your kernel missing the patch, test it anyways, because I had that error yet it still worked.

Thanks to both of you, it works like a charm! Since you both have used it, do either of you know if there is a way to turn it on in mid-call? I am an investigator and I usually chat with the person for a few minutes to prep them for my questions. Being able to do that would make it 100% perfect.
There is an option for that in the app, and it shows up for me by default. There should be a green record button ( switches to a red pause button if the app is recording ) showing up on your screen whenever your calls connect. If it isn't, try toying around with the settings ( sorry, I'm not sure which option it is, but I know it's in there ). You can also set it to exclude recording all calls by default if you want to manually start call recording when you're ready instead.

Careful of local laws. Call recording without knowledge of the other party can be illegal in some states.
I live in NY so hopefully im good to go. I see that im not the only one looking for a good working call recorder for my note 2

Total Recall
Total Recall is the recorder you are looking for on the Note 2. In the settings area, use Option B. I also recommend you set the file storage to your SD card, as audio recordings can hog up allot of space when the voice recording quality is turned up. Hope that Helps.

Will Total Recall work on the AT&T I317 ?
I use Sanity. I think the free version only records for 2 minutes but registered it records unlimited. It does many other things, too many to list.

If your rooted search xposed framework here on xda. Enabling call recording is just one thing you can do with it. It works and works well. It's two steps, flash the framework and then install the call recording module. Completely free and unlimited.

This app will hide content of your notifications and show it only when it recognizes your face!
It supports OP5/5T/6/6T (and maybe more, go test it out!)
App is in beta stage.
App have it's own thread in OnePlus 6 Theme, Apps and Mods.
Device specific question (OP6T) can be asked here, other questions via OP6 thread.

Working on OnePlus 6T
It great idea and perfect working in my OnePlus 6T.
Thank for you sharing.
Just installed it pretty cool
For some reason the app stops working for me. I'm on the 1.2.7 version, I granted root access and I selected do not optimize battery for the app and hide notification. On magisk I do set it to hide app manager after I install and set up. It works great for a short time but then for some reason it just stops. I go to the app and it says active but doesnt work, I have to stop services and then start it again. Am I doing something wrong or do people experience the same thing.
Not working for me I have oos 9.0.12 and my device is rooted how can I install. ADB method is also not working for me.
Anybody help me, it's automatically disabled,
Installed and running with all permissions granted, and the app running in my notifications tray without battery optimisations.
I don't think it works. I still see all my notification content.
Installed not my kind of thing uninstalled but still can't see notifications lol any help

YT Vanced notifications problem

The notifications from my subscriptions get bombarded at once when I open the app and don't otherwise get pushed to my device unless I clear the existing earlier notifications. GCM & GDR are enabled (see screenshot). Moreover, there only appear to be around 7-8 notifications at max but that's the standard limit of MIUI I guess?

Sounds like MIUI power management. Try white listing vanced in your power management settings.
I've had weird issues with miuis power management as well, especially using reminder apps like Watery Droid for example...

Question No call recorder when calling or receiving call and alternatives

Hi all,
Do you guys facing the same issue as when you are calling someone, or someone is calling you, and you aren't able to record the conversation ?
If it is default that poco f3 does not have the call recorder, what is the alternative (preferably open source)? Supposedly the call recorder will be the same as the figure below.
Thank You.
Regards,
Jason

Its available in the xiaomi.eu rom because it is based on the xiaomi china rom which uses the mi dialler and mi messages app instead of the google ones. I dont know about any other apps which can be used for it but searching on google might help
I'm using Boldbeast recorder
It adds an icon on phone app and it's working on Android 11.

Haven heard of it, it has a bad rating though of 3.0.
Is it safe and secure enough? as in the call recorded wont be transfer to the devs to steal data.
You can try ACR, it works on the F3
Which ARC works ?
I can confirm, that ACR by NLL (licensed version) does NOT work here: MIUI 12.0.5 global stable (de)...
Tested yesterday
Boldbeast recorder is working well
