if you installed custom rom, it will corrupt persist.img partition when returning to stock firmware, new problems arise for example
baseband
wifi disconnection
how you can find out by checking baseband in settings - system - about device
It depends on what it says at the end, and it will depend on whether it is corrupt or not
M8937_22.29.02.56.01R (normal)
M8937_22.29.02.56.01q (damaged)
M8937_22.29.02.56.01e (damaged)
calm the problem is solved as follows
revert to firmware android 7.0
flash lineageos 14.1
re-flash firmware android 8.1

phone showing up as N7100

I flashed the N7100 rom onto this to test it and couldn't get SIM/etc. Had to restore using stock firmware from ATT using ODIN. But, now, when I plug it back into the PC -- it shows up as a N7100 device and KIES won't support/recognize it.
Anyone know what I may need to reflash to get it to show the proper hardware id?

[HELP!!!] Battery drains too fast

ROM version: lineage-17.1-20210114-nightly-sagit-signed
Recovery version: lineage-17.1-20210114-recovery-sagit
Firmware version: 20.6.18
I flash the latest Lineage OS 17.1 on my Mi 6.
I have not installed any third-party software, or even flashed OpenGapps.
I have tried to completely erase all partition data and re-flash Lineage OS.
But the battery drops quickly.
Then i found the log.

MI flashtool and Original rom flashing. Orange Fox or root, has trouble with android 11 +12 access.
Checkout in Mi Flashtool reblock bootloader!!
That was my way by this probs or you install another unstable rom (lineage) its another way.
This Smartphone Hardware and Android Versions to new, for a stable work with root and recovery tools or custom roms, i hope the developers solve this probs in the next year.

Question Android Version Mismatch With Kernel Version

I reflashed my S22 recently, but realized that the Android Version (13) does not match with Kernel Version (Android 12-9).
My S22 is Snapdragon variant, from Singapore. (not sure if it because I flashed incorrect firmware)
Mainly is because I encounter that Samsung Pay Transit card no longer work while screen is off.
Could this be an issue, and is it recommended that I reflash the latest firmware again?

The kernel version should not affect any functionality.
The S22 uses android common kernels(GKI) which is why it seems wrong/out-of-date.
Per the Android OS developer website, android12-5.10 is a supported kernel for use with Android 13.
