I just purchased a new Honor 7x in Shenzhen and none of the APK files from apkmirror seem to work. I continue to get a "Install core GMS packages to use Google Play Store"
Does anyone have idea what to do?

It is, but it doesn't work on the 7x.
I've tried the GO installer and the GMS installer, but nothing works.
Any ideas?

Really? What did you do? Everything is in Chinese, I may be missing a step.
I also can't find Google Contacts in HiApps, I wonder if that is the problem.

Hi, I have the same problem with my chinese Huawei Honor 7x. It runs EMUI 5.1 and Adroid 7.0. The model is BND-AL10 compilation BND-AL10C00B123. I really hope soon we can have the solution to this problem. The phone is great and I'm very happy with it but I really need Google runing in my phone. Thanks for all the help you can share!!
it definitely is possible, cause I'm running all the google apps on mine. When I ordered it from aliexpress the seller said that he would unpack the original phone and install the language packs and the google play store app on it and that's how I got it.
Sorry, is no help for you guys who're trying to do it themselves but for others wanting to get one, look out for that before hitting the 'buy' button.

There is problem with certificates . how to deal with this? Or, if that possible, kindly, can you give onther GmsCore that is certified to install it in honor 7x device ?
Also had this problem with the certificate. Tried to find how to fix it, but it seems like it's not very straight forward.

, than update Play Store app from Huawei "AppGallery" and you are good to go.

It's because in China and some other regions they don't allow Google apps. You got the L24, which I too have, and of course has Google apps (GApps) installed, duh
I have Honor 7X BND-AL10C00B123 from Ali Express too. No update since March. Are we going to get any updates?
I'm a huawei p10 lite owner with EMUI 8.0.0. I tried everything to install custom watch faces but the option just won't appear. The beta version doesn't have the logo when I install it and I can't login to my chinese ID. I've tried on an android 5.5 emulator and everything worked perfectly except I couldnt link my watch to it. My huawei health and mobile services are useless on EMUI 8, a lot of functions aren't there. I wonder if there's a fix for that. Thank you

I read about Googlefier a week ago on XDA was and overwhelmed to see how easy the process has become to install GMS.
I hope P40 Pro+ users will try this method and report soon.
Did anyone achieve to install google services incl. playstore somehow on EMUI 11.0.0.208 for Huawei P40 Pro+? Tried several things but LZ Play never works (closes after opening) and for downgrade i couldn't find old enough firmware anymore

I've tried a few things here, but I'm running out of ideas.
I have a Mi9 Explorer Edition. This is a phone that no longer receives updates from Xiaomi, and I rely on the people from this forum and Telegram to update it. I'm using version V14.0.23.5.8.DEV. This ROM comes with a lot of Chinese stuff and is built on top of a Chinese ROM.
I removed several apps that come with the ROM and installed Google Play Store (although I couldn't get it verified).
I tried the standard installation, but I couldn't. I tried via Samsung Health, but I couldn't. I tried via Chinese Wear OS and couldn't.
Question: Does it need to have the Play Store verified? If I get a Global ROM, is it likely to have more success?
