anyone have the compiled stock rom for the htc one v (virgin mobile)? - HTC One V

i know this phone is old as all get out but I recently acquired one of these and it seems to have twrp installed already but no actual firmware...
i'd like to flash back to stock but i would also prefer that someone could fish out a rom from the deep sea of mostly dead links that would be considered somewhat usable. i think there may be a 4.2.2 rom somewhere but i am unsure. the device codename is "primoc"
tl;dr: if anyone has the stock rom, please upload it if possible. i'd also like to see if anyone has a rom for this device that is on 4.2.2 or later. doesn't have to be that new but it is preferred
as for stock i am sure only 4.0.x exists
thanks in advance.

I'm not sure about the T-Mobile version of the ROM (not sure of any customizations they included), but you can download stock ROM's from the link below:
http://shipped-roms.com/index.php?category=android&model=Ace
Obviously the best way would be to restore a ClockwordMod Backup of your original configuration, but I'm guessing such a backup was never done?
Just out of curiosity, why do you wish to return to a stock ROM?
Hope this helps

Here's a question. I'm a proud owner of a GT-i9000 SGSI and my sister has a HTC Desire HD.
She's recently been complaining about various issues with the phone itself. I haven't had a look at it yet but I'd like to know what the most current stable stock ROM is and how to install/flash.
That link that ashleyayling has supplied takes you to a page full of ROMs for something called ACE? Is that Galaxy Ace or is that a build version or something?
I've tried searching and ROM shows up plenty of times but nothing regarding stock ROMs. TBH, I haven't looked through all 39 pages of the search but I thought maybe someone will be able to help me?
To summarise:
1. Latest (stable) stock ROM
2. How to install/flash
Many thanks.

1. The link provided above is a full list of stock roms in RUU format. Ace was the codename for the Desire HD, so anything referring to Ace is usually the DHD
2. have a look in the development section, there's heaps of threads to help you out with this one, I don't think it would be an easy straightforward answer for someone to give you here (that's why there's whole threads dedicated to it)
Not to barge in on someone else needing help (Noob to the forums) but wondered if you can point me in the right direction! Desperately in need of help as I just killed My Rooted then OTA updated (killing the root) DHD. I was trying to root it again using the Ace Hack Tool and it's now stuck at the T-Mobile loading screen! I'm stumped as to what to do as no matter what I put on the SD it won't update it to work. And can't update via USB as it won't go into the OS. It does flash up quickly some writing while going into the bootloader but all I can make out is Image not Found... Please help! ATM its an expensive paperweight!
Sorry, I looked at the link given and there are loads of .exe downloads.
Can someone please say which one is the latest Stock RUU, I am selling my phone tomorrow and need to put it back to stock, if someone can just say which one I need to download.
Im guessing I just install it like I do with any custom rom through clockword mod.
Will I have root after the stock RUU has been installed? I dont think it matters if it is rooted or not so i'm not bothered too much about that, but i'm not sure they'll be happy if its on ICS MIUI which isn't 100% stable

I've used this site many times, so it should work. All you need to do is download the correct rom for your region.
wwwDOTsamsdroidDOTcom/2011/09/samsung-galaxy-gio-s5660-stock-romDOThtml
Here is a guide, in case you need it:
droidangelDOTblogspotDOTcom/2011/09/odin-guide-how-to-install-and-upgradeDOThtml
Sorry about the "DOT"s, I'm not allowed to post links yet
PS. Don't download any Froyo roms, the gio gets stuck in a boot loop if anything below GB is flashed
Froyo ? for me the best android version for our gio. With this version we could record in 640*480 nad the battery usage was less then now

unfortunately, it's just not compatible. I've tried going back to 2.2, but after getting a boot loop and everyone else confirming this, it's not worth trying something that just won't work. You will have to go to gingerbread, sorry

Not everyone is looking at YOUR question. Have some respect/patience. There are threads guiding how to flash a different firmware version all over the net using Odin, in the hour you waited for a response, you could have easily used Google to find your solution.
Now you may have an issue about Knox, but since you are going from 4.4 to 4.3 (both a knox bootloader) i don't think there will be any issues.
If you have a custom recovery, just flash a 4.3 ROM
If not, use Odin to flash the 4.3 official firmware package.
With the information i provided you, you should easily be able to achieve what you need to do via Google search.

Are you sure the 4.4 to 4.3 thing works? I've been using 4.2 on my S4 (I9500) all along, and recently upgraded to 4.4. I strongly dislike KitKat and would ideally like to go back to 4.2, but if there's no way of doing so, 4.3 would be fine.

I have not tried it myself. It was just speculation since they are both knox bootloaders. The worst that will happen is Odin will say it failed OR your Knox will be tripped (which i see highly unlikely as knox detects changes from what "should" be there)

Thanks for the help. There were some people who said that it's impossible to go back to 4.2.2 from 4.4.2 and some that said you can't even go back to 4.3, but then others that said it is possible. I tried a number of different ROMs and they didn't boot at all. Then I tried Omega ROM v14.1 (Android 4.2.2), and that works brilliantly now.
Here's the thread for it from this forum: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2232887. Only seems to be for Samsung Galaxy devices at this point.
It is an unbloated TW ROM (actually allows you to choose which Google and Samsung apps to install during a custom install process that begins when you flash it). It's faster than all my previous versions of Android, and obviously takes up less space.
Annoying that not everything works and that it took such a long time to get a successful installation, but at least I've found a ROM that has what I was looking for.

Yup but that is a custom ROM and with proper recovery you can go down to 4.2.2 but when we speak of Stock Samy Firmware and Odin it is imposible i have tested it. And Omega is great but still Custom hehehehe

Oh yeah, I became aware of that very early on during my search. All the ROMs I've been trying to get working have been custom and Omega is the only one that's actually booted.
I'm just glad I found something that looks like my old TW 4.2.2. Don't really mind whether or not it's custom. It is a shame that you can't go back to older official Samsung firmware once you've updated though. What do you think the reason for that is?

I've had this problem 2 remembered times I believe, once when first going to Kitkat on my Jellybean Galaxy S4 and once when I updated my custom ROM to the newest version on my M8. Have you recently flashed a new ROM or update to your phone? If so then the only thing I can recommend you at this immediate moment is to either try re-flashing it or reverting back to what you were previously on. I searched for quite a while on how to solve the "WiFi won't activate or endlessly activates" issue and never did find any solution. Anyways there may actually be a 'better' solution to this but I never found it, if there is then someone else will reply with it.
If that is not the case and your issue lies elsewhere then please further explain your problem and what you did leading up to it to cause it, thanks!

Just some advice since you are new here: If you want help with a problem, best way to get it is to give as much information about your device as possible (carrier version, what OS version, OS version before you unlocked bootloader if applicable, if the phone is modded with custom ROM, and if so what custom ROM, etc.).
Problem with WiFi not turning on is common, and has been discussed on numerous threads. You probably need to update your firmware (hboot, radio, etc.), since if it's too old, it will not be compatible with current custom ROMs.
Also, please look at the dates of threads/posts before replying to (bumping) them. Digging up old threads is not recommended. This thread is over 2 years (going on 3 years) old. And the user you are asking, hasn't been active on the forum recently. So the chances of that person responded, is somewhat low. Even if he responded, the answer will probably not be completely relevant, as the OS versions, custom ROM versions, and a lot of other things have changed in the last 2 years. Meaning what that person did 2+ years ago, probably won't work for your today.
Although there are others here (such as myself) which will be happy to try to help, as long as you can provide more info as requested.

Wifi Issue

After i installed android L on my One M8 wifi problem started. When i lock the device wifi connection is break. How am i solve it ? Anybody know this problem ?
Edit : The problem is only Sense roms , not aosp roms.
Edit 2 : And the problem starts with install android L. How can i downgrade from android l to kitkat ?
I've got the same issue. Bluetooth has been acting up as well, though I think that's an unrelated issue for me. Personally, I Dont want to go back to kitkat after using L, so if anyone knows of a fix that'd be awesome.
Also, I am 99% sure I'm on the correct fw and have supercid enabled. Dunno if it makes a did but I have art as well.
I back the kitkat and problem doesnt seen but i wanna use android l. Somebody help us
Same problem. I bought m8 yesterday and i have updated it 5.0.1. Wifi does not work. Im so mad guys. Help please.
I think its the general problem for android l users. Am i wrong?

You need to update your firmware. Discussed in many other threads already.
I've already install last firmware.

Yesterday I flashed the ViperOne 4.0 beta, and my wifi kept dropping out as well. I was using 3.28.401.9 fw, because I read on a few threads that the 4.4.4 fw was compatible with Lollipop.
An hour and a half ago, I flashed 4.16.401.10 firmware, and my wifi has remained connected. Hopefully it stays that way.

If you installed latest try to reflash the Lollipop Rom again and it should work, I've seen the issue and most users fixed it with a reflash.
Before and after reflashing perform a factory reset/wipe.
Same. All the sense roms which based on android l, have that problem. Now i stay on kitkat (android revolution) and its nearly perfect. I think im gonna stay kitkat while the problem is solving. (sorry for english)

It's ok, KitKat is stable.
I use Lollipop, with no issues, but depends of the carriers, they push the updates.

Get into ADB/fastboot and do fastboot getvar all, then post the readout here. Edit out your serial # and IMEI for your own safety. Never post those on a public forum.
Thanks for helping. I will try it and then post here the results.
