Question Specific app not listed in Poco F3 Dark Mode settings - Xiaomi Poco F3 / Xiaomi Mi 11X / Redmi K40

I have a Poco F3 and I like the dark mode implementation, for the most part.
One of my games comes up with a bad colour because of the dark mode.
When I go into additional dark mode settings, I can see a number of apps and turn the mode off on them, however the app I want to turn off, doesn't show in the list.
I have read elsewhere that the X3 has this issue too and that by turning off the wifi, for whatever reason, the apps should all show, this work-around doesn't work on my phone.
Anyone else hear of this? Any ideas, besides turning off dark mode all together?

[Q] the notification LED light not working

I found that the notification light not working even I set the option "pulse notification light" on in the setting menu (In the condition of the screen is off and idle after received notification or missed call and etc., the light is still off).
Then I unlocked the BL and tried some stock version of google firmware website.
But it does not work as well.
Only the moment someone phone to me and the light will on with the white color.
I wonder whether it is the hardware problem for the light or only the setting.
Thanks so much for your help.
The notification light doesn't do much by default. I believe it lights up when you get a call and for stock SMS.
I use the app "Light Flow" to control the app a bit better, though, and set colors for different notifications.
I would go to a Sprint repair center and have them test the phone. This could be software or hardware related. If it is software a reset would fix it. Also you may want to download a different notification program to see if it would step in and make them work again. But the best idea is to let a store test it - they have a machine to diagnose problems like this.

Screen is yellowed, but goes back to normal when opening some menus like Settings

I'm facing this issue since yesterday. I think that was after I actived reading mode, night mode or something like that, but couldn't find it anymore.
When I press the Settings button, for some milliseconds the color goes back to normal, with a neutral temperature. Then I open the notifications menu, it turn yellowish again; and neutral when I close the notifications. But turns yellow again when I close the Settings.
What's happening and how to solve it?
Are you using cyanogen? If so, try turning off livedisplay in display settings. If it doesn't work, try resetting your device or change to another rom. If it still doesn't work, then I guess it's a hw problem.
IIRC there's a night mode in stock. Could you post details about your phone?

Make sure the Simulate Color space is set to disabled in Developer Options

Uninstalled CM Locker, it was solved. So it's probably an option within it. But I'm not using it anymore.

FingerPrint scan issue for Payment/protected apps with Iqoo 3, UI issues & dark mode

FingerPrint scan issue for Payment/protected apps with Iqoo 3, UI issues & dark mode
1. I recently bought Iqoo 3, great device so far performance/speed wise but i can get around getting my apps to use fingerprint to unlock, instead, they ask for Pin/Password although I already have fingerprint enabled for screen unlock.
With my previous phone (realme 3 pro) this was never an issue, the apps automatically used fingerprint for unlocking. this is such a piss off. (can't use it on Gpay, Paytm, phonepe etc.) (any help/suggestions will be much appreciated)
2. unable to recover password for apps that are stored with Google. to search for the auto-fill password, you open google password section, you narrow down to the domain for which you need the password and then to use the password it asks for your pin. But you just can't enter the pin because the cursor never appears in the section, so your input is going FK knows where. (Hoping its a software bug that gets patched up soon)
3. i'm new to the super amoled scene, but dark mode is stupind. it isn't really true black, more like dark grey; wasn't the whole point of dark mode that the unnecessary pixels don't light up at all and saves battery as a result. that is not the case here.
you can make it true black by sliding brightness to the left end but that dims the entire display (obviously) making everything very hard to read.

GPay working?
In grey color and black both works as Dark mode... As u can see Google is using grey as thr dark mode... You can check in gmail, play store ... Instead of black , its grey... So black and grey both saves battery.
I have faced same issue. I am from India I bought iqoo3 12GB 256GB from iqoo store. After facing lots of issue with the Iqoo UI I have contact with them for the solution or kindly return my device but they disagreed that they cannot take it back as I have inserted SIM Card in it also theirs UI has no problem no user has complained about that. Do they can't if more user complained about that issue they will check it once
Dark grey is not pitch black and hence significantly compromises on contrast and unnecessarily wear pixels to avoid pixel burn. They should instead offer pitch black dark mode and put a warning that it may cause image burn on OLED screens. I repeat - Grey is NOT Black and there need to be a pitch black theme for all apps like those on iPhones

Question Automating MIUI settings

Couple of things that really bug me on miui, is the inability to change colour sheme with reading mode on and why battery saver forgets that I had 120hz on.
My usual setup is setting color scheme to advanced, reading mode on, battey saver mode in the night,
Every morning I need to,
Turn off reading mode,
set color scheme to auto, and manually turn back on refresh rate to 120hz (for some reason when battey saver is turned off it doesn't go back to the original settings)
Miui doesn't seem to have the capability to do this at the flick of a button let alone scheduled(apart from the battery saver),
Was looking into apps like Automate/Tasker for the same,
Can't seem to find direct settings in these apps to toggle these oddly specific settings for me( reading mode, color scheme, refresh rate)
I figure the only way to go about it is using some scheduling apps to trigger a shell/adb command,
Are there any guides/docs available for what adb commands/shell utilities are available to alter these miui specific settings programmatically?
Alternatively any other approach to make this easier?
Thanks !

Also in my F3 with stock 12.5.3. I can't change the color scheme when reading mode is on.
Instead I verified that the 120hz frequency is set to 60hz if the energy saving is activated and returns to 120hz if it is deactivated (automatically);
It works well even if I schedule automatic activation and deactivation.
It works well even if active or I program the automatic activation of the reading mode.
I assume it's a problem with your software that I can't give a solution to. I am sorry.

How To Guide Facebook dark mode work around for fold 3

If anyone is having issues with dark mode on Facebook here is a workaround. So sometimes the dark mode option doesn't show up on Facebook for me. Sometime when I get it to turn on sometime it automatically turns off. I noticed on the ZF3 if I open Facebook unfolded dark mode is off, but unfolded dark mode is on. So simply open Facebook unfolded with dark mode and fold open the device and it will switch to the main display in dark mode.

noticed this too... the small screen is the only way the dark mode function is selectable for me on Facebook.
Was working for me, now cannot click dark mode open or folded. It's there but does nothing.
Edit- Spoke too soon. Tried again and it worked.
Doesn't stick, right back to screaming white.
If you open it and it's not dark, make sure to clear the app from recents before trying to open it again with the phone folded
This is caused by being in "multi view" under settings/display/screen layout and zoom. If you switch to "Standard View" you won't have thr problem. Hopefully Lil Zuch adapts to the fold. Try it out folks. Switch to Standard, close Facebook and you'll it working fine
