Hi, I broke my phone (Xiaomi Mi 9 se) screen, and I want to transfer photos but I cant do it because usb debugging is disabled. It is possible to enabled it from PC?
No bro, but if your device support OTG, you can try using Scrcpy-win64 to cast your device's screen to PC, then plugin the OTG mouse, use it to enable USB Debugging. That's the only solution due to my experience until now!

i have been trying to upload files from my laptop to my huawei ascend p6 via USB, when it connects its on charging only, i do not receive the notification that asks me to select the mode. Also when i look into the settings the USB tethering is disable, i've tried to do the USB debugging by doing the developer options and enable the usb debugging, but when i tried to connect the mobile to the pc via usb, it is still on charging, i cannot connect my phone. I connect the phone to my PC and the USB Debugging option is not available.
I have tried all connection types (Charge only, LG Software, Media Sync, Camera) and still the option is grey.
Tried this on 2 pc, of many different USB's and 2 different usb cables.
You must activate usb debugging before you conect device via usb to pc
as my screen is not working is there any way on how to enable usb debugging via abd or anything plz reply asap

This is my first post.
I have a MI MAX 3 and when i plug it to my pc, it charges only
I get no popup with any other usb option like MTP
USB debuging is on and in developper options, i have chosen "file transfer" as default usb connection option (itried PTP too = same result)
Wiaomi usb drivers and ADB/fastboot are set up
When i connect my childs redmi note 7 phones, it immediatly works with the same cable
As i would like to unlock bootloader and root this phone, i need ot to be seen by the pc

I've a Mi Mix 2 for 2 years. I never had any worries.
I always plugged my phone into my computer for either file transfers or for USB connection sharing.
Since Monday, more possible. I plug in my phone, and it starts charging directly, and the notification to choose file transfer, photo, or charge only no longer appears. The computer doesn't detect it anymore as my Mi Mix 2, but an unknown device with a problem.
I have already uninstalled / updated drivers, MTP too.
I also tried on another pc, and with other cables, the problem remains the same. I'm starting to lose patience.
I specify, developer mode is enabled, with USB debugging and default file transfer mode.
Has anyone ever encountered this problem? And if so, how to solve it if possible?

Probably you have to change/repair usb c port in your phone
Or have you activate USB Debugging?
