What do you mean?

Obviously that our phone is already eligible to download an official beta build, but however, our Poco F3 is the Xiaomi 11X variant, which for now I think, is not in the list.

Yes, that's fine , I was also hoping to be among them, but either way, Poco F3 is definitely going to get the 12 amongst the first phones

The one from piraterex.
Battery life is really impressive.
Everything works except safetynet.
Even the fingerprint unlock is faster than current aosp roms.

First how's performance and stuff ? I really don't care about battery but I'm mostly concerned how the device feels and performs.
Is it faster and smoother than arrow os ?
Also what's dt2w?

No dt2w.Rom fast and smooth.

Could you please help us with link for Android 12 ROM

Sound is average. By far everything seems quite running smooth.
Great work dude, thanks for testing for us
BTW, Why it is showing miui 5.3.27?? it should be miui 6.x or something beta testing right???(i know miui 5.x.x are weekly builds of miui 6).

MIUI 5.3.27 is the latest version. Yes I know it should be something like beta version but it's meant to for testing, so they didn't bother keeping a separate name.
The stock camera is kind of laggy. Using Google camera solves it!

Be happy about it. People are complaining about MIUI6 running on LL. It's really buggy.
Yes, I too was expecting Lollipop for Redmi 1s and then this happens. I have confirmed it from MIUI forums that It will come based on Kitkat.
By the way can someone make this one multilanguage?

3 - means 3rd month - ie March
27 - means - 27th date
i think its unofficial dev syhost version.

No, it's official! If you see the link, it's hosted on xiaomi's server.
And guys it was very obvious that it's gonna be based on KitKat. How can our device be first to get lollipop when their flagship phone is still on KitKat.
Unofficial MIUI 6

Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite | MIUI Global Beta gets Pie!

Hello! i have Good News, People in the MIUI Global Beta Program are getting Android 9.0 Pie!
What I have noticed currently:
The Space Between the Apps and Notch has disappeared.
The "Hide-Notch" Feature doesn't use the Notch Area as a Status Bar Area Anymore now, It now completely hides the notch, only leaving the LCD Backlight.
Camera2API is still not supported.
Cool! Is it faster or has battery improvements if you noticed anything by now?

Is there an estimated release date available?
Global Beta is available officially if you want it now, as for the Stable i'm not sure when it will be released
I was really disappointed seeing Redmi Note 7 coming with Camera2 Api enabled and the 8 Lite still with it disabled. There is no excuses for that.

It has only been a day of using it, i have not seen if it has better Battery Life, the performance seems to be the same as the phone on Oreo.

If rooted, it is easy enough to add to the system/build.prop. Sure it is a PiTA, but once added, it works well. Saving in RAW mode was pretty important to me which made rooting my device well worth it. I will wait for the official release version, or an ASOP ROM when one becomes available.

You mean stable to beta ROM?
Probably you will need to install 9.1.17 Oreo beta and then update to 9.2.15 Pie. It'll erase your data but that's it. You can do it with MIUI installer without trouble.
Any links???

Question Xiaomi.eu for poco f3

Has anyone tried xiaomi.eu for poco f3? If yes, please share the installation steps and your experience with the rom.
Is you bootloader unlocked?
Only Fastboot method for now, check out the Xiaomi.EU forums: https://xiaomi.eu/community/threads...all-xiaomi-eu-rom-for-xiaomi-redmi-k40.60379/
As the original thread on the xiaomi.eu is for the K40, even if I understand it is the same as POCO F3 which is K40's international version, did people succesfully test the fastboot flashing of that ROM specifically on the POCO F3?

If anyone is using xiaomi.eu on poco f3 right now, please tell me if the option "tap to display AOD for 10 seconds" is available in AOD settings or not. Im asking because it is available on the default global rom and I really like it this way.
What are the differences between roms so far? Can anybody list them?
Why everybody complain about gestures? I can use gestures on my poco f3 with nova luncher with no problems. Global stock firmware
Gestures - swiping on the home screen to open some app or other things right?
My uderstaning is Xiaomi.EU is based on the latest China rom. It's essentially the Redmi K40's rom 12.0.8.0 date 2021-04-09 with performance/battery tweaks, Chinese apps/bloat removed, ads removed, languages added and don't quote me on this (EU/Global vendor).
Then there's the official European (EEA) rom which just received update 12.0.4.0 date 2021-04-19 that fixes screen dimming, standby battery drain and haptic feedback motor noise.
And lastly there is the official Global rom which is still on 12.0.2.0 date 20201-03-30 which is meant for the rest the world including North America.
The China rom is developed by Xiaomi developers in China. It's has the most features, the latest features and is the most stable.
The Global and European (EEA) roms are developed by Poco and have the Poco lanucher and Google apps as default.
Eventually bug fixes one region receives will be transferred over and implements to other regional roms.
Downloading 12.0.4.0 fails for me. Was anybody able to do the update?
Can someone check if the xiaomi.eu has the sensors off feature in the developer settings?
I posted on the Xiaomi.EU forum asking about the current issues and bugs Poco F3 users are facing.
Hopefully someone, who has a Redmi K40/Poco F3 running the Xiaomi.EU stable firmware replies to my post.

I flashed weekly 2 days ago and haven't encountered any bugs, imo it feels better than global stable
I'm also thinking about to flash xiaomi.eu rom. Battery life is very poor for me on global stable... Also it is not running as smooth as i thought. Sometimes a bit laggy.
@ zeb_vv
Seems like no one wants to flash Xiaomi.EU stable for Poco F3 even on the Xiaomi.EU forum.
Weekly has more features and is on MIUI 12.5, but it's less stable and has more bugs.
Good to hear you've not encountered any problems.

Question [CLOSED] Best custom ROM?

Hello guys. I'm looking for best official custom ROM for my POCO F3. I'm planning to use it daily, so I want stable ROM without any BIG bugs. Can you tell me which ROM is best at this moment? (Your opinion). Thank you and sorry for bad English
I'd recommend the recommended. The mother rom (Xiaomi EU). [EU has nothing to do with europe]. It has the latest official Xiaomi rom features. Basically what Xiaomi updates comes directly to you through this rom (with pack of other features)

Well, I am a OneUI fanboy. I don't like any of them all. but I'd have to get used to MiUI
The thing is you need to know what suits you the most and feel comfortable with. You can check the ones available here labeled as [Development].
I hope the guys here give you more intels of which could be the beat custom rom besides custom MIUI
Right now, hands down the best rom would be Arrow OS. Been using it for a couple of days now and the smoothness and experience is on next level.
I was previously using stable and then weekly EU rom.

Havoc was the first Custom ROM for the F3, which didn't include GAPPS by default - so I gave it a try...
After many years of pure LOS/CyanogenMod, I am now running Havoc 4.5 on both the Poco F1 and F3. And it works great on both devices!
HentaiOS works fine to me :v I'm staying on it till any custom with working OTA comes up

That's banned on XDA. It's also not open source . As a havoc contributor I'm biased to havoc however most of the ROMs use the same device source and so are all stable. I think ArrowOS may be the most stable at the moment but I don't have a problem daily driving Havoc

ArrowOS is supporting OTA. I feel it's the most stable and snappiest of the current AOSPs. Light and fast, without a bunch of features I don't really need

Question What MIUI/Android version does the F3 come out of the box with?

Does it differ depending on manufacturing date or is it always the same? I'd assume it's probably different for global and eu versions for example.
Is it Android 11 straight out of the box or could I avoid updating it if it's android 10?
Have you done any research before? F3 came with Android 11 out of the box, but the MIUI depends of the date when the F3 is manufactured.
I was confused since I own another xiaomi device which is running MIUI 12.0.5 and it's android 10.
The articles I found for the F3 state that it came with MIUI 12.0.1 but said android 11 which made no sense to me. That's why I'm asking.
It came with MIUI 12.0, which is Android 11.

I also have Memory Extension on my Xiaomi.eu Weekly Custom ROM, but I don't use it because 6 GB RAM is plenty for me.
Munchy has noted about that feature, that it doesn't do much and that there's no indication of it being on, and the Recents still showing "6 GB". He said that in that same video I think.
