i need EFS file or modem file for my N5100

my n5100 is stuck on samsung logo and never boots in , it says failed to mount efs .. i heard that it's a problem with my modem and flashing stock one might fix it .. can some one help me giving me this file?
N5100XXDNK3
i currently have the same problem as you and found an efs file here
the stumbling block i currently face is how to actually use it. i've tried to get z3x described in that thread but i don't think it installed properly on win8 as it says card not cound or something. same with the octopus samsung tool mentioned.
edit - there is also this thread
edit 2 - used the efs.img file in that rar file. then used heimdall to load the efs.img file by choosing efs partition.
edit 3 - looks like there are some gsm issues happening though - yep gives a generic imei (which was to be expected of course) so gsm affected but still works over wifi.

SM-T900 pit file

I know this is a very stupid question.
Last time I installed a custom rom through Odin.
I also played with the setting and i did a re-partition <-- I know, shoot me if you can
Now i need a PIT file for my MT-T900
Everytime i install the original rom it fails.
Who has the PIT file for me from the SM-T900 ?????
I have totally no experience in pit file restoration because i never was clever enough to do what u did.
Maybe you have something with this files . I looks like one of it is an pit file:
asanfile.com/file?path=samsung%2Fflash%20file%2Fsm%20series%2Fsm-t900%2F
On website:
asanfile.com/file
Choose samsung -----> flash file -------> sm series -----> SM-T900
I give no garantee this is the correct one.

Thanks for the replay and te link.
It has partly worked. I was able to install the original rom but still got the fail error.
It was clearly not the correct pit file.
My device worked but i wa snot happy.
Afther this i was looking futher in to the problem and found a new program that samsung is using for it's devices.
It's called Smart Switch. I used this program to do a emergency recovery of my device and it worked. The program did a new re-partition of my device.
Many thanks.

Sammobile Image not working?

I did a firmware replacement on an s7 last month using the firmware on sammobile and when I did it there was a specific ap, cp and bl file I had to add for the flash to work.
Now, trying to do one for a verizon note 4, the file I downloaded from sammobile under n910v for 6.0.1 only has one file in the zip with a tar.md5 extension and the instructions say to add it to the ap and pda options in Odin...but there is no pda option in odin?
I've tried the file in every checkbox available and one at a time as well and it does nothing on start, just shows all threads completed (success 0 / failed 0) and it shows that result immediately having done nothing with the phone?
What am I missing?

If it's a .zip file make sure you've unzipped it. In later versions of ODIN just drop it in the AP block. You want everything unchecked except for F.reset and possibly auto reboot. It'll populate all of the other boxes once it starts.

Note 10plus Android 12 + Magisk root on Odin after all, I have 16Gb of RAM

Hello. I am trying to root Galaxy Note 10+ Dual Sim (SM-N975F / DS code: XEO) Android 12 by Magisk patch AP file and then flash Odin. Root works but after all my phone has 16Gb RAM instead of 256. I don't know why but this modified AP file destroys something on the phone. After rewriting the stock ROM, the problem is fixed. 6 hours already fighting it. I give up slowly anyone will tell why my phone memory is disappearing from the partition?
When you're flashing the AP file, make sure you're also flashing the rest BL, CP and HOME_CSC files as per the Magisk installation instructions.

Of course, it flashes all 4 files not only the changed one. It seems that the modification of the AP file by Magisk causes this problem. Flashing the phones with original files does not lose information about Disk RAM. Is there any other method of rooting Note 10+ on Exynos Processor?
