Officially Motorola didn't provide any information related to screen protection of moto g40 Fusion on it's site or anywhere else but some of the experts & youTubers have confirmed that it has some sort of protection, lies within GG 3 to GG 5, so U don't have to worry about scratches in day to day usage.
...but no matter what Gorilla Glass or scratch resistant comes with it, obviously wont protect that screen from getting damages if it fells on hard surface from as low as 3ft. height. That's why it is always advised to have a good Tempered glass/Hardened glass screen protector & a good quality back cover as well.
I'll suggest U to follow the same, just do some research, read some users' review before U buy any of those.
Good Luck n Tk cr.

Even if they have used ceramic glass in your devices' screen, it's better to add a good quality screen protector is ideal. It's easy to replace a screen protector if your screen looks shabby than replacing the screen itself. I personally use screen protectors from Gadgetshieldz it covers the edges perfectly and the scratches are invisible with their liquid film protector. But do your own research and find what would be the most suitable option for your device.

GadgetShieldz™ Full-Body Invisible Protection Film for Asus Zenfone 2

Hey guys i recently bought GadgetShieldz™ Full-Body Invisible Protection Film for Asus Zenfone from Ebay.in.... I am also planning to buy a tempered glass for my phone...
So my question is should i apply tempered glass or this invisible film or both on the screen ?? Will this product help me keep my phone away from scratches etc... I was thinking of applying tempered glass on the screen and the invisible film on the back side of the phone... Can someone give me some suggestions on this.. I don't want any scratches or any damage to the screen or back side of the phone....
Yes ofcourse
Gadget Shieldz last really long and is pretty good when it comes to protection. I usually always use a Amzer tempered glass screen protector along with a GadgetShieldz full body film. Applying it though is time consuming. I usually do it for all my smartphones. I asked them to add Zenfone 2 the 1st day it was launched and it got added within a week. If you are planning to do both on the screen I would say its an overkill but could be done. i would recommend applying the tempered glass first and then the screen film from GS. In my opinion both do equal justice when it comes to protecting the screen. GS has this one thing that I really like and that is self healing, it absorbs/clears minor to medium scratches over a couple of days time. Hope this helps.

Stock Screen protector - glass or not?

I still have the screen protector which came applied on the phone. Anyone knows what kind it is? I guess it is not tempered glass..
no it's not tempered glass
It is normal clear screen screen guard. Not tempered glass.
you should not remove that btw. in my experience, i regret taking that off knowing there are no good tg alternatives nor non tg protectors.
it's hard to find a perfect screen protector,so dont remove it

Which screen protector to get?

I'm looking for a new screen protector for my 3T. Here's my requirements:
Tempered glass
Doesn't let dust get under it over time
Doesn't keep me from seeing pixels along the edges (rules out OnePlus 3/3T Curved Tempered Glass Screen Protector; see https://youtu.be/rVtWOmDrVGU?t=119)
Covers up the entire display area (rules out OnePlus 3/3T Tempered Glass Screen Protector; see my attached photo)
Works with at least one of the big protective cases like Otterbox Case for OnePlus 3/3T, Spigen Neo Hybrid OnePlus 3 Case / OnePlus 3T Case with Flexible Inner Protection and Reinforced Hard Bumper Frame for OnePlus 3 2016 - Gunmetal, or OnePlus 3T / OnePlus 3 Case, TUDIA Slim-Fit HEAVY DUTY [MERGE] EXTREME Protection / Rugged but Slim Dual Layer Case for OnePlus 3T, OnePlus 3 (Matte Black)
Are there any screen protectors that meet all of these criteria?
the unicorn..gl
Doesn't exist.. that I've seen.
Sigh... Why did OnePlus have to curve the screen? :crying:
Yeah, there's no good tempered glass protector. The only option is a plastic protector.

Yeah, it's looking that way. I really don't want to go that route because plastic has next to no impact protection.
I have the Orzly tempered glass protector, no issues here... Recommend it

It comes off eventually, you get the rainbow effect and dust eventually gets underneath it as it only sticks to the edges.
I bought a couple of cheap ones off eBay that go around the home button and speaker. Don't even notice it's on most of the time. I get a little oil spill type effect but that's only when the screens off and not noticeable unless I look for it. Think the key is getting it really stuck down. When I first put it on I ended up with tobacco underneath it from my pocket but carefully took it off and reapplied it and so far it's been fine. Had it on about 2 months maybe 6 weeks and it's been great
I'm having the same issue as you. I'm not sure which tempered glass screen protector to use..
After a little search, it seems like the issue with the official curved screen protector from OnePlus has been fixed. I'm gonna bite the bullet and just go for that once, since it's "official". Will report back with images.

Where'd you see that? I'm under the impression that they said they were going to fix it, but all they ended up doing was adding a disclaimer about the problem to the description page.
Hey everyone,
I bought the curved tempered glass and it was so so so bad I removed it 1 minute after using it.
When you put your finger on the fingerprint sensor, I get the feeling that i'm putting my finger into a hole.
The feeling I get when I look at the screen, its the same as if my phone was outside a window...
It was expensive and I'm not using it. Tried to refund it and the support didnt allowed it.
The curved tempered glass does protect the whole phone into a point that it kills the whole feeling you get when
the phone is naked.
Please do not buy it!
I bought recently the normal tempered glass but I still didnt received it.
When it arrives I'll give some news.
I received these today and applied the first one perfectly. I can't tell there is anything on the screen. They do not attract smudges anymore than the phone's glass which is good.
I am more so trying to protect against micro scratches so do not necessarily need the better protection of glass.

Using the orzly v2 glass and its cool. Yes you can see the dot matrix in direct sunlight, yes you get random rainbow in in hot/humid places. But overall its usually clear and perfect. If you use a case it just blends in and although the extra height is daunting on the home button at first, after a month I can say I can't even tell anymore, not obtrusive at all.
Experience with official tempered glass protector
So just to share my experience with the official curved tempered glass protector from oneplus after using it for some weeks.
I'm using it with the Otterbox case and it does work well together overall. It did happen very rarely that an edge was pushed off by the case when the phone was in my pocket. The visibility of the edges of the screen is impaired, but not to the point that I find it disturbing in every day usage.
So my point is, overall this combination works well and provides good protection while adding reasonable bulk. I think it's a very solid choice as of now.

Yup, quite happy with that. But I'm not 100% persuaded that's actually tempered glass. I managed to get it chipped just by holding it in my pocket with some coins (I assume, as I never dropped it). Nothing major, but never happened with any other glass screen protector before. So, guess that's still going to provide some level of protection but wouldn't trust it too much for major protection.
Apart from that, that's ok for the price.
IMHO

It seems to have the same problem as the official OnePlus full-coverage protector where you lose some edge pixels, according to the 3-star review on the white model.
I'm on my 2nd Orzly V2 now and it's not too bad. I have limited rainbow affect which is only visible under fluorescent lights and the touch sensitivity is generally OK. It's not great by any means but it's adequate, will protect the screen and is the best out of a poor lot.

Best Galaxy S8+ Screen Protector?

Hello,
I am looking to purchase a new Samsung Galaxy S8+ screen protector. I was planning on getting this case but I had wanted a screen protector as well to protect such a device. Any suggestions? I've looked online and heard to find a good one is rare due to the fact of the curved edges as well as it being an expensive phone. Any help would be appreciated.
Side-Note: Any suggestions for another case would be nice as well, I like the one linked above but something with a slim factor would be nice too!

Works well with the Spigen Neo Hybrid too.
Idk I've gone through 3 screen protectors with the same case listed above for some reason the case grabs the side of the screen protectors and it bubbles up I tried two expensive tempered glass screen protectors and each one with that same case popped off my phone so irritated right now I'm using just my bro hybird case with no screen protection

I am also in searching of some good glass... Unfortunately, all reports are so far divided. Some could manage put some glass, the others have more problems... In the other theme GravX put an interesting video with test samples with full adhesive tempered glass from alibaba. Itnwill take some time, until this will be available on amazon

It is worth it. I screwed up the install and they sent me a new tube of glue and screen protector for free.
I finally just gave up on finding a tempered glass protector I opted for a liquid glass nano screen protector applied two coats and slapped my case on no scratches nothing and I always end up throwing my phone in my pocket with my keys highly satisfied also barely any smudges it's legit for those have any trouble I recommend liquid glass Qdamix liquid glass to be exact
Fyi don't be the idiot who still doesn't have a military grade case on it.. if you drop the phone without a case the screen will crack period with a tempered glass or not so don't be an idiot and think this is gonna make the phone bullet proof nah it just prevents scratches nothing else!

Be careful, that liquid screen protector stuff is mostly snake oil. I've been caught out with it before and ended up with scratches just with the phone being in my pocket.
Screen Protectors for Samsung S8 Plus
Ounier Galaxy S8 Plus Tempered Glass Screen Protector, [Case Friendly][Easy Installation Tray] 3D Curved Tempered Glass Screen Protector (Black)
Due to curved edges of Galaxy S8 Plus, traditional full screen glass screen protectors will generate a halo effect on the edges. This is accomplished with state of the art technology by placing hundreds of microscopic transparent dots on the screen protector to mimic the contact of your finger on the screen.
I'm using Spigen Glas.Tr full cover glass. Definitely recommend!

Force Glass is no good
Hi,
I have this glass protection supposedly life guaranteed but it left bubbles on my screen even with the set up device included.
i buy the glass protectors that show a hammer hitting the screeen and then for an added measure when i put my phone in my pocket i turn the screen towards my leg

Question best case to use with glass screen protector

i want to buy a case but idk the situation. found a fake otterbox like case on amazon but i want to use a glass screen protector or a skinomi screen protecor. any thoughts?
im active ALOT and outside so i need the case to match or exceed my limits. the fake otterbox is the choice but i need glass on the screen and glass on the camera portion. thought about poetic series but idk... would love a case that is life ready with glass screen friendly.

From my experience, many cases don't fit with the glass screen protector so I always use a film screen protector from Gadgetshieldz which is installed with liquid that provides an extra layer of protection to the display. As the protector has a self-healing feature that heals most of the scratches on it which I like the most about this product. Is that Skinomi a film-like protector?

How ware these and how long do they last - compared to the factory screen protector? Does the corners lift over time?
If I order one, do I need the "Case Fit" version?
I've been using the factory fitted film since I got the phone in June, always have a ringke fusion case, no signs of lifting anywhere. Not sure if it will work with the glass you're talking about

The screen protector lasted for about 7-8 months for me and they are good compared to factory protectors because they stick well enough and don't peel off. If you're going to use a back case then the case-fit screen protector is enough because the case would protect the edges.
Thanks. I use the OP carbon bumper case. I will order the case-fit version
