Android 11 for USRET (XT2071-3) - Motorola Razr 5G Questions & Answers

Has anybody seen a firmware file for USRET (XT2071-3) for the Android 11 update? I have been on the buggy beta since mid-March.

I received Android 11 last week through regular phone update (yay!), so maybe you could get with the Motorola Rescue and Smart Assistant app.
This is the build I'm running, and it matches what I can get using the Moto Rescue and Smart Assistant app

Why no Oreo on VZW Version?

I see that we are planned to receive the Android Pie update but who knows how long that can take?! Android Oreo is almost a year old and still no update. Even the Moto Z Play has it and that phone released in 2016.

Android 12

My moto g 5g is working awfully, it has a lot of lags, sometimes during some seconds, and i don't know the reason... I think that android 11 is poorly optimized for it. Any notice about android 12 availability? I read on some webs that this smartphone will be upgraded with the 12th.

Motorola doesn't offer reliable eta on updates, sometimes there are rumors of soak tests, but that's about it.
have you tried reflashing the firmware or a factory reset since the Android 11 upgrade?
I would use LMSA's flash rescue, but it will factory reset the device when it flashes the firmware.

I installed it yesterday, you need to unlock the bootloader. The gsi+gsm rom is really barebone tho.
For lag i can suggest removing the blur effect from systemui from developer options.
am wondering that to if we will get the android 12 rn i only read phew articles that yes we get it and but androidplanet says no

Oh, no we won't, only one major release from motorola, budget cuts i guess. We started from 10 and got 11 nothing more (except security updates). I hope this will revive modding for these phones tho. I would love an android 12 pixel experience

Would Google Camera be broken by updating to the official firmware based on Android 12?

I haven't applied any software updates in over a year, but noticed that there is now an official software update based on Android 12. I use the Witchita variant of the Google camera app for 3 of the rear cameras and Google Camera Go for the front-facer. Are any of these known to be broken by Samsung's official stock rom based on Android 12?

[FIRMWARE] [ODIN] Samsung Galaxy in softbrick after Android update

Yesterday I decided to upgrade the Android version of my Samsung Galaxy A50 from 9 Pie to 10 (and after that I wanted to upgrade it to Android 11), buy after the installing process of Android 10 finished, my phone was not able to start anymore, showing me the Android Recovery page and the error “/system/bin/tune2fs is missing”. The upgrade to Android 10 didn’t work.
I think I should install some firmware with Odin, but I never did that before. Also, my phone isn’t rooted. Can someone tell me how to do it? And, in view of the fact that I want Android 11 at the end, should I search for Android 9, 10 or 11 firmware? Can you “jump” from Android 9 to 11?

Question Have software updates stopped since September?

As the title says, for some reason i got no software updates since the September patch. Does anyone got any update after that?

Fastest way to check for updates is check with LMSA's rescue option.
But if you chose to flash with LMSA it will factory reset the device.
It will have you devices current build and the newest built available.

Yes, I've got November 1 2022. Security updates are scheduled to arrive once every 2 months (in theory).
