So I wanted to create a thread where everyone can write bout there purchase experience, whether good or bad..
I purchased mines from Negri Electronics and could not be happier. I recieved her today the packaging was secure and full of surprises. Enclosed was the unit wrapped in a nice bag, a USA wall plug (to compensate for the UK version), an ANDY Android figurine (nice touch) long with a thnk you card from them. The Item shipped Black Friday a day after Thanksgiving, Only because they worked there tails off on Thanksgiving itself to make sure all there units shipped Friday. For that I thank them. I could not have been happier with my choice!
How was your experience, please share

To answer your question about my purchasing experience, it has been good so far. I placed an order with Handtec last Wednesday. If it wasn't for the volume bug I would have received it by Friday. I should have it Tuesday morning at the soonest.

It's a pet peeve of mines too!
I also ordered "mines" from Negri. It's arriving Wednesday. The experience dealing with them was great so far. Knowing what's in the box (unless I don't get a figure ) is even better! Recommended as well.

The only difficulty was deciding whether or not I should purchase one, since I owned both the N1 and Galaxy S I thought it would be rude not to go for the GNex.
Once I'd decided, it was a matter of popping down the high street during my lunch break to grab one. I was in and out within 5 minutes, so all in all MINES was a rather pleasant experience.

On that note: Does anyone know how long it takes Google Checkout to refund your money? (Last time I use that stupid method) .. they took off the money the second I ordered my Nexus, I was under the impression you're not supposed to be charged until your order is shipped out >.>

Mixed bag but then I expect no less from Expansys. Phone is here, I'm at work, delivered on time, no issues. I've got a billing issue that I've sent 3 emails in five days, holiday excluded, and no reply.
This fits squarely with my past dealings with Expansys: Product delivered on time as described with crappy customer service.
Got mine from local Phones4U store day after official launch. Went in when it opened to find out they put the sim free price up overnight by £80 to £629 . Didn't buy it.
Phoned head office to complain. They confirmed price increase. I told them about an official phones4u tweet sent earlier in the day that the price would be £549 so they arranged £100 off from local store. Went back and picked it up for £529. Next day, the price went back down to £549.
Bunch of jokers. Only bought from there as didn't want to wait a week for my pre order from clove.

On top of that the "launch" on the 17th was only in one store, and they only told everyone that on the morning of the 17th!
Still, I have it now and love it. Alls well that ends well as they say

That fits my situation as well.
On time, as described.. haven't needed customer service yet.. hopefully won't need it.
Ordered through Negri, cancelled it because Expansys assured me Friday delivery was a go.

Through Expansys-USA, yes. You have to send the phone to them and in-turn they send to the UK for repair. Never had to go that route, but I image it's a long process...
Better than nothing though.
Ugh, it's been a huge fiasco, and I still don't have a phone!
Originally, I ordered last Friday (8 days ago) on Expansys USA for $750. On Saturday (seven days ago), I noticed that handtec would ship to the USA from the UK, it would come out to $50 cheaper, and it looked like it would get here first (at the time handtec seemed very proactive and confident they would ship my order ASAP).
On Saturday I sent a cancellation email to expansys, ordered from handtec, and waited. When Monday came, expansys cancelled my order no problem, and handtec needed all sorts of information (my passport + utility bill) to confirm my address, so my order didn't even get fully processed until Tuesday thanks to time zone differences.
Finally, Tuesday rolled around and they announced they were going to stop shipping because of the bug - I emailed them immediately and asked they send it anyway, they gave me the 24-48hrs BS, and eventually gave me Monday. Bullsh*t.
In the end, if I had kept my Expansys order, I probably would have my GN by now, and I wouldn't be hoping a UK company gets stock they claimed they would have a week ago. At least they upgraded to expedited shipping. .
Having been flitting between the One S (for the smaller size) and the One X for the potential hardware benefits I decided to just go with the device I most wanted and plumped for the One X, for me the size is really the only thing that made me think twice as I ride motorcycles for a living, am out on the road a lot reviewing kit and a whopping device is a bit of a PITA in leathers.
How many of you have taken the plunge with a preorder and how many of you went through the same decision making process as me then?

I didnt see another thread about the same thing, nonetheless I am interested to hear if peoples buying decisions were anything similar. Having stuck (happily) with my original desire for 2 years the leap to such a massive device is, well, a leap.

Agreed, but id put the limit at about 5 inches. Anything more and id feel like im talking on a tablet.

& preordered with carphone warehouse.
£10 cheaper
Fast delivery, should be launch day (amazon was free super saver delivery which could be 3-5 days)
Basically, the £10 saving has paid for my HTC screen protectors & micro sim card cutter & fast delivery is the bonus.

Yes pre ordered, currently love my SGS2 but I like new toys to play with been saving up for a new phone I know the SGS3 is due soon (will see how that fairs after I've got my HTC).
I'm use to 4.3" can't go smaller, I love the Galaxy Note so think the size of the One X shouldn't be an issue.

VERY bad experience with them.
I ordered a Limited Edition Zelda 3DS from thehut dot com and I paid for next day delivery...
Nothing came next day, so the day after that I phoned them up, they'd lost the parcel... Then they'd found it and it was due to be delivered the next day...
Then their tracking system said that at 14:53 the parcel was handed to the courier driver, then at 14:53 it was in transit, then apparently I signed for it at my house at 14:53... ALL THE SAME DAY!!!
Then a week later a woman knocked on my door and hands me the parcel, they'd delivered it to the wrong address, the other side of the city I live in.
They failed to tell me that I'd (apparently) signed for it, then that they'd lost it.
I think yodel are Crap.
Ordered mine from clove this afternoon. £500 including vat and next day delivery. Now for the cases and Sim card cutter!

According to Sony, it's not officially released in US yet. So where do you guys buying it from? I see it's being sold on Amazon (US) but is that an official Sony US retailer? Others mention eBay and someone mentioned a store in the mall (DC I think?), etc. I understand Amazon merchants could be from UK or in general outside of US, the same with ebay. So, are there any official US stores that sell it? And for those who bought it in US, where you able to contact Sony support (in US) to answer your questions?

Yes mine came from a company in NY called TECH1 and it came in official Sony packaging and everything.....definitely an official watch. The US customer service has been able to help me with a few questions on the watch.....I love it

Amazon listed as 2-4 weeks and the other companies listed on Amazon are not Authorized Dealers. I checked. So I found it on Newegg. They were in stocked and shipped next day. Love the watch but I wish there were more apps. Where's the weather app and no watch faces.

newegg all the way. originally ordered from mobile fun, but after they backordered it for two weeks despite them having it listed as in stock and ready to ship, i cancelled and called newegg. the girl said they had about 76 in stock so i ordered it from them. 199 +25 for overnight shipping. ordered it friday and got it on monday.. ive had the watch for about week and i love it, even though the amount of apps is pretty depressing. give me a music widget and a battery percentage icon, and ill be good for a while. :good:

Sony.com has both models in stock now for $199.99/$219.99. I just placed my order. There appears to be a glitch right now that allows you to get the 3 year replacement/accidental damage plan for free! Add the watch to the cart, but do not select a warranty plan. Edit the warranty plan within the card and for some reason the 3-year plan is $0. I used Chrome, if that matters....

MobileFun is bad news. I ordered from them and wasn't even given a confirmation email. Very poor communication and their US phone number just rings. I had to get my credit card company involved to cancel my order. They said it was in stock when I ordered (Oct 15th) and wouldn't give me any further information on shipment or backorder status.

Got two, and they were available for pickup today. While everyone else was doing door busters, I walked in right at 5:00 PM open and went straight to pickup. Was out the door in minutes. i haven't plugged them in yet.

Thanks i just ordered mine. Was tempted to get it from Verizon for $30 off.
I am really liking the convenience and charging speed of it. I had to setup both of our phones on both stands. That seemed odd, but oh well. The one thing I was not expecting was how warm the device gets even through a rubber case. I find myself having to watch how long I leave it sit on the charger and even use the wired one regularly.
Order Status
I ordered mine on November 22 and it's status is still "In Progress" for local store pickup. I hope it doesn't get cancelled. Anyone else still waiting, or received one yesterday or today?

Basically... yes. Go to ebay, and find somebody selling it with the proof of purchase. As long as you have that you get the concierge + one time $150 screen replacement. I paid 2200 for mine.
I bought mine on a EE (UK) contract for £50 up front (took about a week to come). Shame it's costing me £119 a month, but I do get 2 years of Amazon Video, plus 6 months of Apple Music and few other extras. I worked it out that it's only slightly more than getting an iPhone 11 Pro Max, but you are getting something far more unique with the Fold.
The Fold isn't sold in the Netherlands, so I ordered one from Samsung Germany. This had the bonus of scoring me the 5G model (F907B), too.
Got mine from the Samsung Store in the UK, they had 2 in stock at the time (9 days ago)

now i'm really considering the fold.
The Razr is nice and all that, but those specs and that battery don't cut the mustard at that price IMHO
