LineageOS GPS not working on Samsung A5 (2017) - LineageOS Questions & Answers

Hello
So I installed LineageOS on my Samsung A5 2017 but my GPS is not working.
I tried UnifiedNlp also but didn't helped.
I heard that copying the stock rom gps.conf file could help but didn't find that (i checked system/etc, and those folders and I only found a gps folder inside of /data/vendor/gps that contains other files)
Does anybody knows how can it be fixed on this phone or is anything else can be done in order to fix it?

Hey csokifuji, have you, by any chance, found a fix?
I see that there's another thread about GPS issues on A5 2017 here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/gps-problem-with-samsung-galaxy-a5-lineage-os-18-1.4392747

[Q]Samsung Galaxy i551 Callisto Keypad fix after 2.3.4 update

I recently upgraded my 551 from 2.2 to 2.3.4 it works fine but like many users I'm experiencing the keyboard bug where my ? and , keys aren't functioning right and producing an unknown character.
I've searched around and found that the only fix is to copy the files from 2.2 /system/usr/keychars and /system/usr/keylayout and place it in the new 2.3.4 folder. My only problem is that I can't seem to find the files anywhere online and I'm having no luck extracting them from my 2.2 firmware files.
Does anyone have the working files or know any other way to correct the files?

[Q] [Request] GPS kernel module on A100

Hi guys,
I own Advent Vega tablet and the GPS on it is not working on Custom Honeycomb ROM. I don't own a A100 but i have been searching around and found out that A100 do have the same GPS hardware as my tablet. I'm currently experimenting with different kernel module.
I am hoping one of you guys that own A100 could help me to get the required file to help me getting GPS to work on my tablet.
If you want to help, kindly email me or attach the file gps.tegra.so located in / system / lib / folder in the root directory.
Any help is very much appreciated!
I looked on the /system/lib directory and could not find anything related to the GPS. I also looked in the /system/lib/modules directory and no luck there. You can download the whole decrypted rom from here.

Need the file libGLES_android.so from SGY DXLC1 stock firmware

Hi Fellow XDA-DEVELOPERS,
I'd like to seek help from anyone who might have a Samsung Galaxy Y with a stock firmware of DXLC1. I badly need an EGL file residing in the directory /system/lib/egl/
The filename is libGLES_android.so. I accidentally deleted mine and now an old game that was created by my friend won't run. I need that file to get extra 5 more pixel formats. I can't really remember which pixel formats I'm missing.
I also cannot do reformat/reflash as I do have a couple of applications that I'm testing for work.
Please help, I have tried all versions of this file I can find on the web but none of them worked.

No need to bother on this one as I have just reinstalled the aforementioned firmware and reformatted my Galaxy Y and gave it to my brother as I now have a GT-I9300. Thanks XDA!

preloaded life's good hifi music files

hello everyone.
I accidently deleted the two hifi music files that came preloaded in the LG G7 thinq. I searched everywhere on the internet but cant find them. Can anybody please provide a link from where I can download them.
thanks.
I'm interested in that too. It's not the same file you can download from LG Smartworld?
I didn't have any music file or video (like for G6) or image files in my preload folder It's empty. Did you have something else in that preload folder?
Is it possible to extract them from a .KDZ file?

Question [closed] Could a kind soul send me an updated copy of com.samsung.android.clipboarduiservice.apk?

I accidentally debloated it and didn't keep a copy. Now my edge panel clipboard doesn't work. Tried googling it and there's none uploaded anywhere newer than early 2021 and none of them install on my fold3, if someone could be so kind as to send me a copy of theirs I'd be very appreciative.
Edit: close thread not needed
Where is that APK in the root partition? I am not expert in the organization of the OS but I tried and can't find that specific apk.
