Computer not detecting Fire HD10 - Fire HD 8 and HD 10 Android Development

I recently performed a factory reset of my Fire HD10 (9th generation - 2019) and used Fire Toolbox V22 to install Play Store, Chrome and other apps. Toolbox made it much easier than previously used sideload methods.
The difficulty I am now encountering is communicating between my Windows 10 computer and the HD10. When I plug in Fire, I hear the chime, but Fire does not show up in File Explorer and in Device Manager Fire appears under “Portable devices”. If I turn USB debugging off, then Fire appears in Device Manager under “Universal Serial Bus devices” and also shows up in File Explorer. However, when I click on Fire, File Explorer says “This folder is empty”.
Would appreciate any suggestions on how I can get my computer to connect to Fire.

This is definitely posted in wrong sub-forum.

[Q] Rooted Kindle 6.3.2 stuck in TWRP

I used the Kindle Fire Utility to root my Kindle 6.3.2 and then I screwed up. I think I accidentally used the 'Advanced Wipe' feature in TWRP and killed my Kindle.
Right now I can boot my Kindle to the TWRP recovery no problem. But I cannot get my PC to see the device so that I can sideload CyanogenMod or something similar.
When I plug my Kindle into my Win 7 PC it dings, it sees the usb connection, the and Kindle starts recharging so I know there is some connection. In Device Manager it shows that I have an Android ABD device.
But I cannot see the Kindle in Explorer so I can move the CyanogenMod .zip over to the kindle for installation.
I've tried every USB driver in the book and I am out of ideas. Also, I am a n00b at this so I hope I used all the terms correctly.
Help!
PS: As a side note, does Google Play still work with CyanogenMod? That is what started this whole mess - my CM Kindle would not recognize my Google Play games.
Thanks

[Q]Kindle fire never installs TWRP

Hello XDA forums,
I have had nothing, but problems install TWRP on my Kindle fire version 6.3.2. I have installed the drivers on windows 7 and when i connect my kindle fire. In device manger the kindle fire displays as "Android Phone", at the top showing the drivers are correctly installed. The problem is anytime i run the install.bat file to install TWRP my kindle fire is stuck on the Logo and in the command prompt it just says "<waiting for device>"... The install.bat file will be stuck here until i close out of it. I then i have a unbootable kindle fire which i boot up linux and run the SoupKit application to fix the kindle fire boot mode, so it can boot propertly. Can anyone help me figure out why i can't install TWRP on my kindle fire? I was thinking about doing a factory reset and starting over to see if that works?
Anyone help out?
Update "After trying 3 different computers i finally found success with my desktop running windows 8.1. I had to modify the driver signing feature and disable ti in order for my kindle fire to be recognized in fast boot. I honestly have no idea why the drivers seem to work on windows 8.1 x64 along with recognizing my kindle fire in fast boot. My windows 7 laptop and linux even was having troubles installing TWRP on my kindle fire. The windows 7 laptop was unable to recognized Kindle Fire Utility and my kindle fire wouldn't show up in device manger." I Was luckly after messing with kindle fire and drivers for about 6 hours i finally found one pc to work.

[Q] After Rooting With Cyanogenmod 10.1.3 Windows 7 Won't Connect USB To Kindle Fire

I am brand new to rooting so please excuse the noob naiveté. I rooted my original version Kindle Fire with the stable version of Cyanogenmod 10.1.3. Everything went well until I tried to connect my Fire to my Windows 7 computer via USB cable. The computer will not connect to the Kindle Fire. When I go to the Device Manager I see the Kindle Fire listed as "Kindle" but I cannot communicate with the device. As per some other suggestions on the web I uninstalled the Kindle driver and tried to let Windows 7 install the correct driver. This has not worked. I tried to uninstall the current driver and use an older driver from Kindle Fire Utility 0.9.6 (I originally used version 0.9.8) but this too failed to be reconized and connect. Can anyone help me get my computer to recognize my Kindle Fire so I could transfer files? Thank you all in advance.

You should get a notification on the kindle when you plug it into the computer, you'll have to tap the notification to bring up a screen with the android guy and a button that says something along the lines of enable file transfer or enable usb our something, been a while don't remember lol, anyway click that and you should have it pop up on the pc for file share

[Q] Kindle USB disconnects immediately after boot

Howdy all - hopefully I can find some help here. I had a previously rooted Kindle Fire 8.9 that my son got into TWRP and deleted the partitions. I am attempting to restore my kindle, but I am having an issue where the Kindle will not attach to my PC. When I turn on the kindle, it connects (I can see it appear in the Device Manager) and then immediately disconnects. I have tried multiple drivers, I have tried removing all drivers, I have tried multiple PCs. Nothing seems to let this Kindle remain connected via USB to my PC.
I will buy anyone that solves this a beer. Or two.

Kindle Fire HD 8.9" or Kindle Fire HDX 8.9"?
It is model 3HT7G, which I believe is the Kindle Fire HD 8.9".
Thread moved.
