Just as the title says. My phone's wallpaper is stuck with the stock mountain picture. I can't find any way to change it.

Does anyone know where I can find the image files used for the backgrounds in the HERO ROMS?
I have looked all over the place but can't find anything. I'm currently running one of the PURE BLACK HERO ROMS but it only has plain coloured wallpapers installed on it.
Help appreciated.

Can anyone please share how can we use these wallpapers usig full quality and resolution? Each time I try to change the wallpaper it asks me to crop the image and then it has really bad quality. Thank you.
You can resize the cropping box so it uses the whole wallpaper.
Does anyone know -where- on the -ROM- the Wallpaper Gallery is located? I'd like to pull some images from my ROM to use as a lock screen image, since you're arbitrarily not allowed to use resources from the Wallpaper Gallery on the lock screen..
The HDWall program has been giving me fits.
Can't get it to do what I want.
I have the correct sized image I want to use as my Landscape wallpaper.
I only want it on the today screen, same as my regular wallpaper.
Where can I go (registry) to tell it what file to use?
Is it a manilla file I need to change the image in?
Any help is appreciated.

I tried searching this over the forum, but could not get info about it.
Can i not use the .tsk themes on my phone?
i try to do it. once it loads the color on the taskbar and then it immediately changes the color back to grey or something. and also the wallpaper does not load. i turned off tf3d. Also when i set any picture as wallpaper (not on tf3d) the brightness level itself increases, and picture kinda gets milky.
Help would be greatly appreciated.

I just have a little issue here. When im choosing a custom photo or image as background, it tends to get lower color than original. The gradiends gets really ugly. This dosent apply for HTC original walls thou.
I tried with both JPG and PNGs (8/16 bits).
The screen is able to show 16mil colors so my guess that the croptool is converting the image somehow.
Does anyone know another app that is able to set wallpaper wihtout the built in cropper?

I had a custom wallpaper up, and out of nowhere out changed itself to the stock rainbow bubble wallpaper and won't change at all now. Can someone help me with this? Thanks on advanced

If you're using ap2sd, check to make sure that you don't have the Live Wallpaper you want to use on the SDCard. Live Wallpapers, like Widgets, won't work properly unless they're installed into the phone's memory.
If you're simply trying to install a different picture and it won't take, I recommend that you restart your EVO.
