This ROM is built using the official LineageOS trees, and brings a couple extra features:
FBE (encryption for the /data partition) - this means NO SUPPORT FOR TWRP - ONLY LINEAGE RECOVERY IS SUPPORTED!

Built in patched camera libs (libexynoscamera3.so) for RAW support in GCam (I recommend BSG GCam)
Signature spoofing (microG support)
Known issues:
5G connectivity (for d2x/beyondx) (? needs testing)
VoLTE/VoWiFi - not working for most Samsung devices, so no fix in the near future

dotOS is an Android ROM which focuses on performance and stability. We focus on making our ROM look and feel great without struggling with performance and battery! So that one can get most out of their device.....
The same instructions as for installing official LineageOS apply, so the ones found here.
If you want to update your firmware, use the guide provided by Linux4 here (click on your device, then firmware update).
As I said before, due to encryption being enabled, you CAN NOT INSTALL this ROM using TWRP.
You need to use the OFFICIAL Lineage recovery (link in downloads section)
Simple instructions for installing recovery (if you already unlocked your bootloader):Odin:
Rename the downloaded .img to recovery.img and add it to a .tar archive using, for example, 7Zip
Flash the resulting .tar file in Odin
Heimdall:
(Windows): Shift+Right click in the folder where you downloaded the img, then click Open PowerShell/cmd window here.
Run heimdall flash --RECOVERY <name_of_recovery>.img
(Linux/Mac): open a terminal, navigate to the downloaded image, and run the same command.
After installing lineage recovery, all you need to do is factory reset, flash the ROM, GApps and Lygisk/Magisk (if you need them of course - either via ADB sideload, or off of an external SD card, or off of a USB stick attached through USB OTG)
For root I recommend using Lygisk Canary (link in downloads section) instead of Magisk, as Lygisk fixes addon.d for devices/ROMs using FBE (like this one), so OTA update works as intended.
Update instructions:Use OTA or just flash the update in recovery.
All releases can be found in here, just look for the latest one coresponding to your device.

I'll add simpler instructions to OP tomorrow, but if you'll look at the guide I linked it says the following for installing Lineage recovery:
If using Odin rename the lineage recovery image for your model to recovery.img and add it to a .tar archive using e.g 7zip.
then flash it in odin.
Once you have lineage recovery, just do a factory reset (deletes internal storage too) and flash the rom, gapps, and magisk/lygisk in lineage recovery.
Builds are up for the whole S10 series!

I'm in your telegram group. 5g doesn't work on the official lineage 18.1, but it worked on my previous Samsung based ROM I.e VN ROM.

Very nice and smooth OS! Thanks mate! One question, is fast charging available? I need 3,5h to charge the phone to 100% even with a fast charger
I really love this rom but the encryption is a problem for me. The fact that i cannot use twrp to flash this rom and keep my data on my phone is whats stopping me from installing. For the main fact that lineage recovery wipes your storage when wiping the phone. I have too much data to be copying back and forth. It just takes too long. If this rom could have been installed using twrp with encryption disabled, this would have easily been my daily driver and im sure there are lots of people who thinks the same.

well you only have to do that once (and probably when dotos based on A12 comes out), and then just OTA/dirty flash. Or, you know, you could just use the other dotos available lmao.

Hello, id love to try dot os on my s10 5g and i am the kind of user who settles. Not a fan of flashing and reconfiguring again and again , just wanted to know if you have plans on releasing an official version of dot os?

It's a issues encounter only with some users (with me). The only fix is to remove your PIN code and all the problems dissapear.
does this rom have issues with mic in pubg ?
You must decrypt to install and then encrypt again in menu, or you must keep phone decrypted?

im having issues with connecting to my bluetooth in my car. it just connects and disconnects. i tried changing the codec but its stuck on default or sbc. i dont even know if the codec is the reason, but something i noticed. might be related to firmware. ill flash whatever firmware i need to and get you a log

You're using 5.1.7 as stated earlier. Make sure to read all the instructions before flashing or calling bugs.

Just had problems with the setup wizard and couldn't restore so I had to setup as new.
Beside that, it's really good, smooth as butter, battery has been good so far and no bugs found.

MiAtoll is an unified source for all of Xiaomi's Sanapdragon 720G Devices!
Meaning, Redmi Note 9S(Curtana) , Redmi Note 9Pro(Joyeuse), Redmi Note 9Pro Max(Excalibur) & POCO M2 Pro(Gram) have the same processor so our Lineage dev unified them into one tree..
Technically ROMs built on MiAtoll trees should work on all these 4 phones!

Aah! Yes... That is why I said we need to flash the rom, boot into the rom and then flash gapps after rebooting to recovery!

im getting a vendor error when installing a custom kernel.
I tried two other roms and was getting either a vendor mount error or system error. Will it happen with this one?
What about fast charging? Does 30W charge for joyeuse working?

CTS Fails because i didn;t include a custom fp.. the stock fp is included for all the devices... maybe in future i can try switching to pixel fp to make CTS work!
regarding the sd card.. i really have no idea!

Thanks for the speedy response. I should be able to live without cts matching. The SD card problem I could also just transfer files over again. Do you have a recommended link for a recovery to install with? Right now I am using PBRP. Thanks!

Go to recovery mod connect to pc , copy everything from sd to desktop , format sd card with the rom , copy back

Can this rom play notification sounds over the phone speaker when connected to a Bluetooth audio device? I keep missing email/txt notifications if I have my headset connected to the phone, but take it off my head without disconnecting it from the phone.

Impossible to download the Gapps version. I have Gigabit internet and get 100kb but then it stops after 2 to 400 MB.
Tried many times never completed. Other A11 1.1GB download in less than a minute

I think you have to flash the Android 11 ported MIUI ROM first, since there is the required Firmware in order to run and boot the DotOS ROM since it is build on Android 11. The ported MIUI ROM can be founded here:

I want review dot OS rom (newbie viewpoint), eye catching design, easy customization and good battery saving than other rom, but there are no option to enable 3 button navigation and no games mode like crdroid. bugs that i found : glitch screen when scroll on a browser or a web page that contain video.

This rom is really good the ui is really clean and is very stable also has a lot of costmization I'm loving this rom but there is no option to disable the backlight of the buttons and there are a lot of micro stutters here and there but other than that id say that it is still the best rom available for the s7 right now

I have done a clean installation in the mobile of this rom. It has surprised me in some things but in others it has left me quite uncomfortable in some aspects.
I am going to start with those things that it does not bring as the standard applications such as the calendar, the recorder, when you click on the main screen on the date it tells me that it lacks the application to be able to do it as well as the time and
Finally, when you want to turn off the mobile, it remains blocked and does not turn off.
For the rest, everything is working correctly for me.
Have if you can correct the above, great work for this rom is very interesting.

I suspect you forgot to install Google Apps, which may contain the calendar, the recorder, etc.

yes, sometimes in the call there is this problem
During calls when activating the loudspeaker, the person cannot hear, only when activating the loudspeaker. The battery life is not so good, there could be a deep sleep option for the apps.
Thanks, just installed it without gapps it's pretty fast i'll use it during the day to check it better, Magisk works good too

I have been testing the previous version of the rom and I have had problems with the opengapps they did not let me use the wifi network and I had to reinstall Pixel experience with android 11, I have seen that a new version has been released so I am going to do one Clean installation and use the rom that already brings the built-in gapps from the play Store.
I hope that the shutdown of the rom has also been solved because I know it has been caught for a while.
I have been using this rom for several hours and it is perfect and the shutdown problem has been solved only if there is an echo in the calls for the rest without any problem so far.

the rom seems to have microphone problems during calls on whatsapp and telegram. When activating the speaker, the person cannot hear. (WhatsApp often informs that the microphone is not available) Calls made by the operator do not have this problem. Anyone else with this problem?

Install this magisk module (latest version), shut down and reboot : https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/module-android-mic-fix.3503128/
worked for me. I think it should be included by default.

Weird it worked for me. Did you install it in magisk and shut down the phone?
