There is Hardware Method..Also..
You can find in google.but I want to know is formula for Resistor.
Bootloader can change by Resistor Replacement. No need to wait 7 day.
After that flash the Global Firmware.

that "hardware method" sounds really stupid to me, just unlock bootloader and flash global rom, why do things in the hard way?

Change from Chinese rom to global rom.

Hi there I have the chance to get two of these good smartphones in China for a good price. The problem is that they have the Chinese rom on it and my parents need the italian language. Will it be possible to flash the global rom or just add the italian language?
Thanks.

Based on my experience b4 unlocking 5A, the only way you can switch from China to Global is to flash it via test point. Unless you've unlocked the phone, you could flash it via fastboot. Is your 5A unlocked yet?

Yep, that's all you need to do. After an unlock, you do have the option to relock your bootloader (which maybe you're already familiar with). The guide is on the miui forums. Good luck!

Yeah but with a locked bootloader, Xiaomi Tool still can't cross flash between China & Global.
Cinese to Global Redmi 5a. Yes you can
In phone settings >About phone>Miui version (click 7times) you will be a developer. back to settings>additionalSetting> developer option>
Turn_On_developer option
OEM UNLOCK_ON
USB DEBUGING_ON
You have to check here if your (Mi Unlock status)
if it shows your "device is locked" your phone is secured" check bellow there you have to add your Mi account. next turn phone OFF. volume down+power to start phone to FASTBOOT MODE. now login to PC. with same ACCOUNT, GO to miui unlock site download unlock app to pc login with miui account connect to Phone. click unlock. they will give you approx (360Hours)after 360 hours repeat procedure with pc. this time it will Unlocked. check mi status again in your phone. if its unlocked you can now download Miui Stable ROM from their site update your phone legally. i am new user here in xda so i am not allowed to share links here in xda.

Bricked Redmi Note 8 after trying to flash Global version in China version

So dumb me, tried to flash a global rom into a China version of Redmi Note 8. Now I tried to flash back the Chinese rom, but it asks me for authorized account. The bootloader is locked. Do you have any recommended service I can use? Is this the only way to revive it?
I have heard people say that you can flash using EDL mode by short circuiting the chip when you open by opening the back of the phone. I think the best thing you can do is go back to the store or to a service center for them to do it for you.
NB! FOR SOMEONE CONTEMPLATING FLASHING ANY FLASHING, DO NOT FLASH ANYTHING WHEN YOUR BOOTLOADER IS LOCKED UNLESS YOU REALLY KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING

As of my knowledge "fastboot oem lock" will destroy the system image if it was modified.
I think your info is incomplete !

"Starting with 2018 models (and more recent), there was a regional separation of models at the bootloader level. "Chinese" versions of phones can only have a locked bootloader with Chinese firmware on board. "Flip Flops" do not take into account. It is impossible to block the bootloader on the "Chinese" body when the global (Russian) firmware is installed, get a "brick"."

I am sorry but I didn't get what exactly you are saying. Let me give more details. I have Indian variant of the device. Suppose I unlocked the bootloader, installed TWRP and flashed some custom rom. Later if I wanna relock the bootloader, what exactly I am supposed to do.

To do this, flash the miui fastboot rom via XiaoMiFlash and make sure the "clean all and lock" option is selected.
Of course, this means that everything on your phone will be erased - the phone will be restored to its factory settings as on the day of purchase.

1) If your device came with a Chinese firmware out of the box and you cross-flashed an Indian or a global you should not re-lock it.
2) If your device came with an Indian or a global firmware and you cross-flashed a Chinese firmware then you should not re-lock it.
3) If your device came with an Indian firmware and you cross-flashed a global firmware then no problem with.
4) If your device came with a global firmware and you cross-flashed an Indian firmware then no problem with.

I'm assuming before re-locking bootloader, you have to flash stock rom and stock recovery appropriate to your phone model?
Yes, it's mandatory to re-flash the stock ROM which previously was into device, assuming that it's used MiFlash tool both things are done in same operation.

Question [SOLVED] Downgrade error changing region from 12.0.4.0 EEA to 12.0.8.0 Global, how can I solve?

Hi
I'm trying to install directly, from the phone update menu, from 12.0.4.0 EEA to 12.0.8.0 Global, but when I select the zip file downloaded I get an that says that it's impossible to downgrade.
My phone is actually locked.
Is it possible in other ways?
AFAIK, if I want to use Xiaomi Flash Tools, I have to unlock bootloader, it it correct?
Thanks

If I understand correctly you can't change firmware region unless bootloader unlocked.
And shouldn't lock bootloader once change region.
I did't know that! This is for a friend of mine phone, with mine I normally leave bootloader unlocked and then I root with Magisk.
In this case, I want just to unlock bootloader, put global version of stock MIUI 12 and then relock bootloader.
I've just done some search and it seems that it can't be done only on chinese stock rom.
But I'm not sure 100%, so just looking to be completely sure before proceeding.
For now, I'm just waiting the 168hrs before taking step 2 of unlocking bootloader.
Thanks
I succeded using XiaomiTool V2, an unofficial app, I've used on Windows 10, but it seems to be available also on Mac.
So, without unlocking the bootloader, now I am on 12.0.8.0 Global.
I received an error at end of the ROM installation (was VERY worried), but then all was ok...
I didn't know this tool, even if I have Xiaomi phones from several years, and it's written by an Italian guy...

Question Possible to go from 8 Pro + CN to EU version?

A bit sick of the UI but worried that since the 8 Pro + version is not available in Europe there may be issues. Is there anyone who tried this? Is it possible to install stock firmware from another region?

I know this doesn't answer the first part of your question directly but it works the other way. I have installed CN on my EU model. Interesting that there's a few extra settings in the CN such as updating the GPU directly.
I'm on the latest CN firmware V2.26 and the battery is much better but probably due to all the battery saving default settings.

Yes, you can change the payload_properties.txt in the rom of the region you want to flash. Change the text "nx729j_un" or "nx729j_**" for " NUBIA_SUBVERSION to "nx729j". Put the modified rom in the root directory and use local update. You do not have to unlock the bootloader to do this. If this does not work then you have to unlock the bootloader and flash the recovery of the rom in the region you want to change to and use sideload to flash the rom. However the second method might mess up your phone and you might not be able to boot your phone.

In the payload_properties.txt, change the text "nx729j_un" for " NUBIA_SUBVERSION to "nx729j". Put the modified rom in the root directory and use local update. You do not have to unlock the bootloader to do this. If this does not work then you have to unlock the bootloader by go to bootloader and in the command window type
fastboot flashing unlock
Follow the direction to unlock the phone
You need to extract the payload.bin from the CN rom, then use payload dumper or fastboot enhance to extract recovery.img from the payload.bin. Go to bootloader and flash the recovery of the CN rom (fastboot flash recovery recovery.img)
Then reboot to recovery, choose English when you see "Wipe data" type
adb reboot sideload
Once your phone boots into sideload mode (When you see the two error line at the bottom of the screen) type
adb sideload NX729J-update.zip (this is the CN rom you want to flash)
Whether the transfer is successful or not you can wipe the data and reboot the phone. If the transfer is successful you will be in the CN rom, if not you should be back to your own Global rom. The sideload will load the new rom to the other slot so it should not change the current slot.
I'm terms of unlocking the bootloader all I have to do is go into fastboot mode (with OEM unlock, USB debugger selected on the phone of course) and type in the "fastboot flashing unlock" command and whatever next steps I'm supposed to do? Also I have not set fingerprint and or security pin on this phone yet and I've read that people are having issues with them after unlocking bootloader. Is your bootloader unlocked? If so are you having pin/fingerprint issues and if not was there anything you need to do to avoid the issue when unlocking the bootloader? TY!
