ViperOneM8 or RevolutionHD?

As i can see there are two major rom-makers in the field,
ViperOneM8 and Revolution HD
I really don't know wich one i should choose, can some one point me to the exact differences between theese two roms?

You should download them both, flash, try one out for a day, make a nandroid backup, repeat for the other one. Keep the one you like most!

Do not flash this ROM
It will wipe your EFS partition which will make you lose your IMEI
Your internal storage will also be wiped; the app launcher is also deleted.

Installation
First Time Install / Clean Flash
1. Download the ROM
2. Reboot into recovery mode
3a. If encrypted FORMAT Data (internal storage will be wiped too) and Wipe System/Vendor
3b. If not encrypted, Wipe Data/Cache/Dalvik/System/Vendor
4. Flash the ROM
5. Flash Magisk if you want root (OPTIONAL)
6. On Vanilla version flash your desired Gapps if you want

A question regarding changing the bootanimation. For some reason I can't overwrite bootanimation.zip despite using a root explorer with magisk su access. I've tried three different ones - all three tell me that bootanimation.zip can't be overwritten or deleted in /system/product/media. Do you have an idea what I might be getting wrong? I've changed boot animations on other roms without any problems in the past ...
