Razr 5g unlocking with Tmobile - Motorola Razr 5G Questions & Answers

I have a razr 5g with tmobile and despite them unlocking it on their end, it still is locked to the carrier. Any suggestions on how to unlock and why this is occurring?

If you have bootloader unlocked it ever, you can't sim unlock after, it blows a hardware fuse that is checked by the TMobile unlock app to unlock the SIM.

Ouch

Turn off 5g on the cellular network and reboot. I had the same problem and going LTE only for about 10 minutes unlocked my device.

[Q] unlock code note 2 lte

Hello!
Im confused cause my phone ( note 2 LTE 7105) is only showing 3G when using another providers 4G sim. Is my phone locked then and the code in http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2014982 will work?
I don't think you'd be able to connect to network at all if it was carrier locked.

How do you lock a phone that wasn't unlocked properly? (Samsung j7)

I recently bought a Samsung j7 that was unlocked internationally. It said it had lte so I thought all was good to go. However after installing the sim I find that I can't use 4g let alone lte, so after a quick call to t mobile find that due to the method that the phone was unlocked I can't access their lte. Is there a way to relock your phone so that you can unlock it the proper way? Thank you in advance.
It does, I spoke with t mobile tech support and they said they support the model but not mine specifically due to how it was unlocked

Has anyone tried to use an xfinity s9 on att?

My phone is currently locked to Xfinity, but I plan to unlock it soon through carrier provided unlock code.
I need to know if the Xfinity s9 will work with ATT/cricket after unlocking it through the carrier (Comcast Xfinity mobile).
I am concerned about the enabled bands, etc. I tried the menu code, *#2263# but nothing shows up.
If you have actually tried it, please let me know if you had to do any flashing to get all the bands unlocked.

Once unlocked it will literally work on ANY carrier in the world provided your IMEI is clean (for USA/Canada).
ALL GSM carriers will work on your phone by default after the unlock. If you want to work on CDMA (such as Verizon) you need to flash the U1 firmware corresponding to your build number.
Oh and Sprint/Boost will probably never accept that phone because their business policy seems to be to spit in new customer faces, tell them their phone wont work, then try to sell them the literal exact same phone but locked to Sprint/Boost. Seriously, they're just the worst with their imei approved whitelist.
Verizon probably won't activate it either, but the secret with them is to just pop an already activated SIM into a phone running U1 and it will pick up signal and work fine.
Source: me. I am remote android tech, I unlock phones for a living. Also, I use a N960U1 that was ATT (I unlocked using EFS method) on verizon, so yea I kind of know what I am talking about in this area.

dual sim

hey guys I am looking to purchase a note ten plus and was wondering if the dual sim feature would work with two different carriers, both carriers are on gsm networks.
Yes it will.
Just make sure it's unlocked and not from a ISP/services provider.
If it comes from a Telco (vodafone/O2 and other) they are software restricted to 1 SIM. You can reflash with an unlocked software (general 975F firmware and it would unlock SIM management but the telco would or should have the 2nd SIM locked.
AFAIK there isn't a sensible way to unlock a 2nd SIM for an officially single SIM device, though it Should be possible.

Question Sim unlocked

Way back in the nexus days, carriers would sell different branded nexus phones(Nexus 6) that they would claim only worked on their network but infact, once sim unlocked would work for all networks like the non carrier version. So you could buy Nexus 6 from Verizon and then put a T-Mobile sim in and get 4G LTE, etc and have no issues. My question is this, if I bought a pixel 6 pro from Verizon and got it sim unlocked, does it have the same bands/frequencies of the factory unlocked variant to use T-Mobile 5g, LTE?
Can't unlock the bootloader on Verizon so your best bet would be either from Google or other network
