i am changing my mi 10 pro for the pxl6 pro and i have a question.
Is it possible like on xiaomi, to limit acces to an app with a different pin code or schema or fingerprint?
i really like this feature hope it s natively present, specialy for a phone claiming to be "secure"

on my omnia i900 i had some lockscreen app that unlocked the phone when exposed to light... for exp. when you pulled it out of the pocket.
Is there any similar app for android, think it should be possible even if its not windows mobile os.

In my previous phone with Android 2, when I was typing, completion used to offer me words from the contact list: name of friends, and name of towns. The new M8 with Android 4 does not do it anymore. Any clue what's wrong ?
Should I change my virtual keyboard software ?
Did I miss the option somewhere ?
Was feature removed completely from Android 4 ?
Hello fellow Nexus 5X owners
I would like to use the Google Assistant with it's commands and cool features, but the problem is that you need a) nougat & b) either English or German system-wide language/locale. But I don't want to change my whole phone to English, I woul like to keep it in my native language (Czech). It wouldnt be a problem with Marshmellow because there you could change the language/locale on a per-app basis using an XPosed module AppSettings. So my question is, does anybody know about a way to do it in this situation? To change the language just for the Google app so that it thinks my phone is in English and it allows me to use Google Assistant?
btw. I know I have to change the build.prop and stuffs I actually got Assistant working if I change the whole phone to English, so that's not a problem for me.

Hey I use lineage with m'y redmi note 3 pro from xiaomi.
Since two updates I can't use the fingerprint log. It says its not avalaible. And I cant delete or add a finger into the settings. Why??? Its m'y phone or its a bug?

Is it possible to dump the EEPROM of a NFC tag, without a key (crypted)? Just to get like a 'eeprom.bin' or something like that.
