Accessories Whitestone [Dome Glass] Google Pixel 6 Pro Tempered Glass Screen Protector [Liquid Dispersion Tech] With Camera Film Protector - Google Pixel 6 Pro

New! My personal newbie UV-cured screen protector review at post # 90. TL;DR - overall 95% satisfactory, fingerprint still works perfectly and looks and feels great.
Note that they are not listed here https://www.whitestonedome.com/collections/google/pixel but they are listed here https://www.whitestonedome.com/collections/google, although the former also says "[Pre-Order ] Google Pixel 6 Pro & 6 Dome Glass Are Live NOW!" just with no links to the product.
Direct link to P6P one here. Use the THANKYOU21 promo code for a further $6 off. Thanks to @LLStarks for that info. In the end, you pay for shipping instead of the (right now) default free 2-day shipping, and it only saves you $1.50. @lemonspeakerz says if you can find something for $1, use the XMAS25 code instead.
lemonspeakerz said:
Fyi, if you use this code, you loose out on the free 2-day shipping and you will be defaulted to the standard $5.99 shipping.
In the end, the code still brings the total to be $1.50 cheaper than without... But the real question is, is 2 day shipping worth it for $1.50?
I say, hell yes.
If you can find something for $1, use this code instead.

I bought mine already without a promo code, but I left one in the cart while I was experimenting with other promo codes people said to try, and I just got an email with a link to buy the one in my cart for 10% off, but when I follow the link it says "WELCOMEBACK discount code isn’t available to you right now". Might be worth someone else trying it, though.

A UV kit for the regular 6 is weird. They usually just do normal protectors for phones with flat screens.
At least the installation trays look like they got a major upgrade in materials and they aren't charging the usual $50+ for either phone.
The THANKYOU21 code works for $6 off.

I confirm THANKYOU21 does work.
The "OVDektNG" currently shown at the top of the page for 10% off did not work for me, however, it's showing the P6P and P6 screen protector 2-packs for $5 off what will be the normal price anyway.
The P6P page says:
*Please be informed shipping for this item will be only available from 28th Dec onwards. Shipping will be on the first order, first served basis.

My question too - does it work very well with the in-screen optical fingerprint reader. So far with everyone else, that's always the caveat with the screen protectors they've reported back on. The manufacturer's site doesn't mention the fingerprint reader and they're out of stock anyway.

I have this one (CoverOn) on my phone right now and no, fingerprint reader does not work. Several other people have mentioned this particular one doesn't work for them either (as with all the others). I am keeping it on though b/c it's nice, fits well, does well with not leaving too many smudges/prints, etc. Also feels nice. Until one comes out that works with the fingerprint reader, I'll stay with this and use a pin. I like the protection of tempered glass vs. TPU/PET, etc..

I really don't know it says it has true touch technology but since I have yet to receive my pixel I can't verify

i will stay naked until Whitestone. Might be 6 months down the line though.

Exact same thing here, keeping it for the fit, feel, and protection until something comes out that works. I still believe it's a software bug since the standard P6 is also having issues with TGSP and FP

Hello all -
I've been following this thread closely as quality tempered glass screen protectors are important to me. P6P will be my first curved screen, so I was disappointed to learn that it's a pain to find quality glass protectors for them.
I sent an inquiry to Whitstone Dome 1 week ago asking about availability for P6P screen protectors. They just now responded to me that they should release a product in mid-January 2022.

Exactly!! I could tell just by the black lines around the outside.

iShieldz has a protector that has adhesive just on the fingerprint scanner part to get the scanner working. The tradeoff is that you end up with a circle in the screen thats visible all the time. I got it from my carrier.
I contacted Whitestone and they replied to me and said they will have one ready to be sold in January-ish.

i had one with issues, according to ebay page for them in the uk, said there was issue with the first batch and they are awaiting stock
of the new improved versions.
It was up on amazon the other day. I came close to ordering it until i read about the issues with the capacitive buttons over at the international one forum.
As far as the cases goes i'm not sure, but i believe spigen recommends that u use the glass protector along with a case. At least that's what i recall reading from their website.

Thank you for contacting Spigen.com Customer Service Department.*
Hi, my name is Hanna from Spigen.com.
I sincerely apologize, but there does seem to be an issue with our HTC One glass protector. We have been made aware of the problem and will be issuing you a full refund of your purchase. There will be no need to return the product back to us.*
I have submitted the refund and it should reflect back into the original form of payment within 5-7 business days.*
We unfortunately have no news on whether or not an updated product will be released. Please check our website from time to time to see if there are any developments.*
I again sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and greatly appreciate your understanding.*
If you have any additional questions, please do not hesitate to contact us again. Thank you!

I used a glass protector once for my GNex and it was a bad idea. The transmittance must be poor even across that small glass layer because touch was very bad around the edges and flaky in the middle.
i think its more an issue with the low sensitivity of the capacitive buttons than the glas itself. even people using normal plastic screen protectors have said they noticed a decrease in sensitivity with the buttons.

MIMEUSA.com

I recently emailed them regarding their tempered glass release for the Moto X and their response was that they were currently gauging interest. So I've posted this on G+ and thought I would post here as well. If you email them your interest in their tempered glass; they have 2 kinds. They could possibly release one for our device. Email is: [email protected] if you can.
Thanks!
Mailed them :good:
Mailed em! Now I hope they will do something about AND that the product doesn't SUCK.
I had mailed them a couple nights ago as well. No response back as of yet.
I'm really hoping that they're watching how the sales of this phone is going and commit to this. Looks like an outstanding product
I know this is not necessarily identically related.. But iLoome recently responded to someone on their Facebook page that they are testing a prototype for the Moto X right now. Or at least their Screenmate version. Either way, I'd be excited if either iLoome or MIME decided to make and sell them :fingers-crossed:

I am not having the sensor problems you read about. I don't know if they've fixed it, the 4.4 update fixed it, or (as someone suggested) my white-front is somehow different than it being used on the black-front.

I'm a fan. It feels like the glass on the screen. So far it hasn't accumulated any scratches. It is not a finger print magnet either, pretty easy to keep it clean. It was VERY easy to apply - I actually came away with no air bubbles to squeegee out. The edges aren't rounded like the Spigen tR series is, so you can feel a very slight edge if you run your fingers around your phone edge, but it's not irritating in any way if you swipe in from the sides. I paid $17 for it (Prime membership, free 2-day shipping) - I feel like it's an amazing product for the price, especially compared to other similar products (I know Spigen usually runs about $25-30 for their glass protectors).
You'll see a lot of the reviews on Amazon mentioning that their proximity sensor doesn't work with it on - especially noticeable if they're in a call (they'll bring their phone away from their face and the screen doesn't turn on, so they can't end the call, etc.) I didn't have any of these problems. A couple reviewers updated their review mentioning that after the 4.4 Kit Kat update, their problems went away. Some people have also said that the black fronts have the problems, where the white fronts don't. I don't know about all that - all I know is it works just fine for me, tested with many calls.
I can take some pictures this evening after work if anyone wants.
Anybody ever used the ghost glass with an otterbox defender series? I always pull the built in screen protector out of the otterbox and just put another screen protector on the phone. Just wondering if there are any fit problems with the defender and the ghost glass.

Black Friday sale at intelliarmor.com. Choose the screen protector for the OnePlus 3, and at checkout, in the coupon code area, put "intellifriday" and all you pay is shipping which is 2.99. Great deal.

Live in Texas, not free. There was probably an error with the coupon that made it 100% off and you probably picked it up before they corrected their mistake.
Didn't work here either, same as others, live in LA.

Doesn't look bad, but I'm not a fan of protectors that don't adhere to the screen (this adheres to the top and bottom). Causes the rainbow effect, and doesn't feel as good to me. Personal preference, but for now I'll stick to the pre-applied plastic one.

The HD wont be shipping on the 20th, which I suspect is why they are listing them as out of stock:
Howdy intelliGLASS Pixel 2 XL HD Backers!
Every October here at intelliARMOR we’re treated to the latest release of Google’s Android phone and it’s all hands on deck coming up with products and designs that fit perfect and perform the way we’d like.
Sadly, the progress we’ve been making on our intelliGLASS Pixel 2 XL intelliGLASS has not been stellar. The curvature of the XL model is significantly larger than the standard Pixel 2 and our flat glass is just looking horrible.
Because of this, we are not going to be able to ship our HD glass on the 20th as scheduled, we are estimating another 30 to 45 days before it is ready to go.

I wouldn't depend on the HD shipping. I think they said they were having problems with it because of the curved screen. There was a letter a couple of pages back.
I just want correct product pictures even if they are just approximations. How can I be expected to buy P2XL gear when I'm looking at P2 gear images?
We're putting so much faith in Intelliarmor's full adhesive 2D (and eventually full adhesive 3D) as the definitive TGSPs for the next few weeks/months. They need to meet us halfway.
I want that 2-pack 2D so badly. I just need the screen covered. If they need a micrometer to find the exact spot past the screen to stop the protection, then so be it. The case will do all the work.

Anyone who ordered the intelliGLASS 3D for the Pixel 2 XL already received a shipping confirmation?
My order is still processing and on their website it doesn't really say it's out of stock...
My HD 2 pack shipped yesterday.
My card was charged on 11/18 for my black 3D order, but they have not yet shipped... When I placed my order the site said "Ships Nov. 20", now says "Ships Dec. 10"
Well, I really do hope that the intelliGLASS 3D is better than their support...
Just got an email that shipment is delayed till December 10 because of too many orders.
Well this info would have been nice to have had when placing the order...there was absolutely no mentioning that delays may occur.
A couple of days can always happen, but almost 3 weeks plus shipping to Europe. I'm lucky if I receive the tgsp before Christmas.
Not happy at the moment
Seem to remember the folks for IntelliArmor mention that the IntelliArmor 3D glass is full adhesive, anybody knows? Hope this is true and does not cut out any visible screen area.

What I have read it's not full adhesive, but adhesive around all sides and the cut-out of the proximity sensor.
Should probably be better than most, but if it's really going to be the tgsp we'll see

Definitely not full adhesive, but they never said it would be for these initial batches. They said the goal was to try and make a full adhesive version, but I'm guessing if they don't sell enough they won't.
Anyway, put my 3D on last night, no rainbow effect. Got to work this morning, rainbow effect. I'll be putting another Skinomi back on when I get home.

Its suppose to be the same as having no screen protector because of the liquid glue they use in between the glass of your phone and the glass protector. No actual testing since I wont have my phone until mon
I can confirm it is working, Withestone Dome screen protector, fingerprint reader works as it should, it was a bit tricky at first but then after few hours it is much better and is getting better with every minute. I guess the glues is curing and allows better recognition? I do not know but i can tell you it is getting better with every unlock.
swagonman - you do not loose any sensitivity, i have been using Whitestone since Galaxy S8 and it has always been excellent. they are expensive but well worth it, and you have lifetime warranty as far as i am aware from Whitestone directly. (As long as you have a proof of purchase from a retailer).

There is plenty of space between the case and the glass so should not be a problem with lifting,
I applied the Whitestone and my fingerprint scanner became very bad. I ended up having to remove it. Going to give it once more chance just to make sure it wasn't because I installed it poorly. It looked like a perfect install to me (no air bubbles or anything), but the fingerprint scanning became barely usable even 24 hours after applying it.

Can't think of the guy's name on YouTube (soft spoken Asian guy who does tech reviews) but he was able to remove and reinstall the same glass. It looked really great.

I have received my phone today, first thing i did is to install whitestone. Then phone on and set up. Initially phone was saying put morepressure or something like that when scanning my thumb. Then it got better and better after few hours. Don't know it might just me getting used to it but i think it works much better now. I have x2 thumbs and x2 additional fingers done and all are working well.
I tried again with he second screen protector and it seems to be working much better. The only thing I can think of is that I didn't let the liquid sit long enough before the first curing process. Glad it is working now though.
lol i'm a dumbass installed the screen protector while forgetting there was the film one preinstalled lol so fingerprint doesn't work.. need to request a replacement

I just received the biometrics update this morning which also has helped tremendously.
