Question unlocked Pixel 6P with at&t - Google Pixel 6 Pro

anyone who bought Pixel 6P unlocked from Google store and using with at&t, are you getting 5G?
my wife's iPhone 12 gets 5G but Pixel is only showing 5GE which is just LTE. there is no network selection options too.

I have att and bought from Google, but don't have an actual 5G plan, but shows 5Ge. I need to contact them about upgrading plans to see what they could possibly offer me, if anything good at all.

International Pixel XL in USA on AT&T

Hey guys,
I just got a good deal on a Pixel XL for the Black Friday/Cyber Monday sales but I realized it is the international version. Will there be any drawbacks using the international version on AT&T in the U.S.?
Is carrier aggregation something to be worried about?
Thanks
I see that nobody responded to this question. I'm considering buying an international Pixel XL also, and I want to know the same thing. Are there advantages/disadvantages with the international version? What's the situation on the bootloader, root, OTA updates, etc?

The main drawback is no support for us CDMA networks and you can't use it on project fi. It will work fine for att, it has all the band necessary for LTE and 3G

Unlocked Pixel XL on Xfinity Mobile??

Curious if anyone is using (or has tried) an unlocked (non-Verizon) Pixel or Pixel XL on Xfinity Mobile? Xfinity uses the Verizon network and the Verizon site says my phone is compatible. Xfinity doesn't officially support BYOD with Android phones but there seems to be some incidences of Android phones working. I am an Xfinity internet customer so I am eligible if I had a compatible phone. The savings would be significant over my current Consumer Cellular plan.

I've been running that for years. Have a Pixel XL and Xfinity at home. So I'm eligible to use the Xfinity app and it works for me all the time when I'm in a place that has such a signal.
It worked before on my Nexus 6 and 6P. I would go through your settings to make sure you have them set right. Good Luck.

You misunderstood the question. I was asking if anyone was using Xfinity Mobile wireless service with a Pixel XL. XM uses the Verizon network for calls and cellular data and (I believe) switches to an Xfinity hotspot if one is in range. Xfinity does not officially support BYOD for Android phones but there people claiming to be using it with their own Android device.

Will a USA bought pixel 3a/xl work in the Uk

Hi all, I did have a look through the forum but couldn’t find a tread that could answer my question.
Basically, I’m going to the USA for a family wedding and was hoping to pick up the pixel 3a xl to use on the UK. Would the pixel be compatible in terms of 4g data speeds or would the frequency but limited and only get 3g?
Many thanks

You should be able to check the bands devices in the USA support and compare them to devices in the UK. If it helps, I'm pretty sure my 3a xl is a US Verizon model and it works flawlessly in Australia.

I've got mine in the USA, and it works without issues in Europe. I have 4g, though it says LTE instead, but it works, I get speeds up to 400 Mbps. Main question is which 4g bands your Telecom provider uses, if it doesn't use same bands you could have issues, but you can change radio band in *#*#4636#*#* menu. I didn't have to, it works automatically.
You'll have to buy charger adapter for UK though, because they only have models with US chargers, but they are dirt cheap there (I got mine for under 1 euro)...

Thank you very much for the information. I will look into the bands used by network operators in the UK.

No 5G

So I have a Verizon Note 10+ 5G phone with no option for 5g in network connections.
The sim is unlocked from verizon and I have taken the to T-Mobile.* I can get 5g.
Any help would be greatly* appreciated.*
5G is not available in most places. Also, some carriers implement different versions of 5G. I suggest you speak with both Verizon and T-Mobile to ask:
1. Are you able to get 5G service with your Verizon phone but on T-Mobil's network, and
2. Geographically, where?

Question C band for Verizon? Future of 5g

Does anyone know if this phone or the regular one plus nine will have c-band for verizon? I'm considering getting this phone, currently on verizon, trying to decide between the nine and nine pro
I hope OnePlus 9 Pro will work on any 5g bands.
8 pro does NOT !
I talk with OnePlus and they say that will be fixed on future updates. That was last year..

Thoughts? Any updates?
What are those of you on verizon doing? Buying this or regular oneplus 9?
The 9 pro currently doesn't work on Verizon or att 5g network. It works on their 4g lte. It is only certified on T-Mobile 5g network.

i have no idea. i think it could change for verizon but at&t is very strict about what they are letting on their 5g network.
I spoke with an agent at One Plus and they said the 9 pro would be compatible with Verizon's 5G network out of the box.
Also chatted with a verizon agent, and they said I would just need to put a verizon 5G sim in it.
Interesting. I guess we'll see?
Do we think it will work on the ultra fast portion of their 5g band?

who knows, knowing verizon, they'll find a way to gum up the works. when I go to activate the device next week, I'll give an update.
This is from the one plus website, under carrier compatibility:
Verizon: Support Band (LTE): 2/4/5/13/46/48/66 Support Band (NR) n2/n5/n66
The 9 Pro currently supports Low and mmWave 5G on Verizon, C-Band is disabled, however you can enable it using QPST but you will not have a UW icon.

I do, I did it on my 9 Pro, highest speed I've gotten 670Mbps down, however I'm gonna be honest, it's too complicated (for me) to write out on here, and too dangerous to accidentally mess something up, I'd wait till someone who knows how to explain things on here, writes it up.
I know that OnePlus has C-Band (N77) disabled in the software, however you can enable it with QPST, I did on my 9 Pro and running a speed test, the fastest speeds I got was around 670Mbps, however, the only issue I have is that I cannot figure out how to make it show the 5G UW icon from mmWave, I know the phone has it, is there any way for me to manually enable the 5G UW icon for C-Band (N77) with QPST? Can it be enabled with root (Magisk)?
Second question, do you guys think OnePlus will enable C-Band on the 9 Series? Will it be Oxygen OS 12 exclusive, or will they send out 1 more Oxygen OS 11 update (11.2.11.11)?
Why do you keep referencing this mod, but you won't detail how you performed the mod. Or at least post a link to the instructions?

Because I suck at explaining things, I definitely don't have the patience to write out a detailed tutorial, and I don't want the guilt of possibly bricking someone's phone, which is why I keep saying people should wait till someone patient enough writes a tutorial.
