I'm confused, what exactly is this? We already have Havoc 3.5 being updated and maintained by Travarilo, the only difference to my knowledge is they stopped posting progress after moving away from Android 9.

Well, this is an "Unofficial" build with features that are NOT in official build. Read the changelog in second post you'll get an idea.

I'm pretty sure what u have on homescreen depends on the launcher you're using. If u can't configure default launcher to have google search easily accessible then maybe find different launcher that suits your needs. U can simply install a different launcher from store.
I was using Evie previously but now settled with "lawn chair 2" and I'm fine.

Hi, I'm trying this ROM for the first time
Is it normal that the pysical button only works as fingerprint sensor? It does not go back on tap, it does not go Home on press, it does not do anything on long press

Turn off navigation bar from config center
Then you can use your hardware navigation method!

Does this ROM support USB OTG?

Encryption is still broken in gapps version. When I try to encrypt the phone it gets stuck in bootloop. Although encryption is working in vanilla version after setting up my phone when I restart it gets stuck in bootloop. I was using nikgapps basic version.
