Question unknon malware or issue : in galaxy a72 device : quitting touch response/struck problem/occures again within some time after reboot. - Samsung Galaxy A72 4G

malware issue : my galaxy a72 device has got any malware or virus that's not recognisable by any antivirus & it turned itself as system app. also it replicated itself intomultiple copies as various names. it causes system lag & anytime it makes the phone taking touch inputs, after itphone gets totally unusable. touch works again after reboot but within a little time it quits giving touch responce again. I hard reset my phone but the problem is persistingly the same. I don't understand how to get rid from this. Pls anyone help

Hi guys, I have same issue. Couple minutes after rebot I got unresponsive display... Is there any help what to do?
EDIT:
after first lock screen I got this issue. Than I can only restart..
Since this issue celular priovider is unavailable. 2G/3G/LTE doesnt work, also settings
I can not see other way than factory reset, or?

I'm experiencing the same issue; the malware has turned itself into system applications, and now can't be uninstalled or allow me to revoke permission access. It doesn't affect the speed of my device, though, but it affects other areas, such as legitimate websites and, well, my privacy.
I have a Samsung Galaxy S9+, and my model number is SM-956U. I have more information on my profile, but I'll attach a screenshot of what the malicious applications look like.

flash stock firmware with odin

Flashing stock doesn't help

Does disabling them work afterwards? Does the malware go away or nothing? Thank you

Bug in restricted profile management

Hello all,
I have a problem with my tab pro 10.1. I created a restricted user for my daughter and gave her access to few apps. When I installed a new game recently and tried to give her access, I couldn't anymore because the menu wouldn't stop switching to the "Enable Google search" tick box option.
Its hard to describe so I made a video to show the behaviour:
Samsung galaxy tab pro 10.1 Bug restricted profile: http://youtu.be/G1W8UOjLVm8
I tried deleting the profile and creating a new one but it didn't fix the issue. I couldn't find anything on Google about this.
Does anyone have an idea on how to fix this, apart from a hard reset?
Thank you.
Sam
Have you tried soft reset? Holding power til it shuts down
Are you rooted?
Have you tried deleting cache?

Hello,
soft reset = no, what are the consequences ? any loss of data or settings ?

I'm not against trying those but I'm not the only user of the tablet, I can't take the risk to delete anything
Hello!
I just saw this thread, because I was searching for a solution for exactly the same problem with my Galaxy Note Pro.
When I saw that you also have the issue that the settings dialog switches to the Google search option, I wondered if Google search had something to do with this behavior.
So I deactivated the app "google search" in the application manager.
After that I finally was able to set up a restricted user and allow this user to use certain apps.
So I thought I should share this finding...
I haven't tried yet, but i think, after setting up the restricted user completely, google search might be reactivated again.
As I don't use the app google search very often, I am not quite sure about the consequences of deactivating and reactivating this app. But I think in worst case some settings may be reset to defaults.
Kind Regards
René
It works ! Dude thank you so much for sharing !

Asus Zenfone 2 Random Reboot resolved
Hi Guys,
I have the same Zenfone 2 4GB RAM 64GB ROM.
The restart issue is due to the settings in Accessibility options.
Check which are all switched on:
The culprit is Switch Access Option - If you have it enabled then the mobile randomly boots and reboots. Disable this and you should be good.
I have lastpass enabled in the accessibility options and it does not cause the phone to restart.
Any number of replacement or doing factory reset will not resolve this for you.
Cheers... this issue aside... the phone is a beast.
Do share if this issue is resolved by applying the above mentioned solution.

I've got the same problem, but to ASUS USA: this problem is with your overwriting of the stock Google Android OS. STOP your "stabilityenhancements" and just release Android 6.0 Marshmallow FTOA! Then we can catch up with the rest of the world. There is no longer any good excuse or reason for your year-long delay; except for you filling THAT up with useless bloatware that NOBODY uses and seems to be the problem!
Asking any of us to have to go through your well known arduous replacement RMA process for ruining our devices with your narcissism is totally unacceptable behavior and insulting to the people who are paying you millions of dollars.

I couldn't agree more, it's really bad form that it has taken so long for a proper non-bloatware update. Being stuck on 5.0 is terrible.
I had the same issue. Whenever I tried to do something with the phone, was rebooting. I was not even able to install the update to Android 6.0. I uninstalled some apps, and then was ok, it was no longer rebooting. So, uninstalling some apps can help. I have a Zenfone 2 Laser

Description :
Dear SIR,
I wish to complain about ASUS ZEN PHONE 2 IMEI/Serial No: 352649075366383 that I purchased on 12.07.2015 BAP, jodhpur Rajasthan
I am complaining because the phone show number of different faults with a interval and repaired 5 time in a year, service center is 450 km far from my location. To resolve this problem I would like you to know your opinion because this mobile frustrated me.
When I first learned of this problem, I contacted at jaipur then as per customer care guidance at jodhpur after that again jaipur but problem is persist same .( total visit 9 time at service center), and was told that nothing permanent could be done about this problem. I believe that this response is unfair because i have also asus laptop but there are not any problem.
And at the time of submission of phone at jaipur service center back cover get damage by the hand of madam which is setting on counter after that the response given by mam is irresponsible.
Now i receive phone form service center and found second sim problem, vibration problem , g snser problem again, pls take a hard desion against service center and resolve the problem.
I look forward to hearing from you as soon as possible to resolve this problem with replacement. If I do not hear from you within time I will file complaints with the appropriate consumer agencies and consider my legal alternatives. I will enclosing copies of my receipt at next time and hang the mobile on road with reflector for traffic facility. You may be contacted at the above address and phone number.
this time my warranty exceed for 1 month but problem is same.
But mobile does not repaired yet now.
Restarting problem
I had the same issue with my ASUS Zenfone(ZE551ML) and the only method worked for me was to install cyanogenMod (CustomROM) onto my phone.
Steps-
1-Unlock bootloader
2-Install TWRP.
3-Download the firmware and gapps{Platform-x86 Android-6.0 variant- (prefrence of your choice) }
4-Save it on SD card .
In TWRP recovery-
(IF BACKUP REQUIRED)
Steps-
TWRP recovery>Backup>CHECK-System,DATA,Boot.
Select storage MicroSD
SWIPE TO BACKUP
Install cyanogenMod -
Steps-
Install>Select Storage>MicroSD
find your ROM swipe to install
Find GAPPS swipe to install
Wipe cache/dalvik
System reboot.
your phone will boot into your cyanogenROM.
For any queries just google it man !!!:good::good:

Suspicious Activity - Huawei Mate 20 X

Hi,
I have noticed suspicious activity on my google account which shows the device is being used in somewhere in Europe. I changed my password and did a factory wipe on the phone but I still see same behavior on this device being simultaneously being used in Canada and Europe.
Has anyone noticed such behavior from the device and what's your advice on to fix/track the issue?
Thanks

No problems with mine but I do have two step verification enabled with google - not known if that makes any difference.
I also have the two step verification enabled and didn't get notified by google that my phone was being used in Europe as the same time it was being used in Canada.
I did change my google account passwords but still the same issue.
Post which retailers you got them from if you are having this issue. There may be a common theme ....

Have you spoken to them about this? They are *supposed* to be reputable.
Mine was also from Splendor, but I have checked my google connected devices and where they are connected from and have 2 step verification on. My phone is not mysteriously connected elsewhere. I would start looking at 3rd party apps that you guys might have installed.

wipe the phone mught not be enough, if somehow the seller unlocked, flashed it, and lock the bootloader, the only way to get it clean is doing the same thing: unlocking bootloader and flashing the factory image. that's what i would do, and that's what i always end up doing to root the phone

Keyboard No show

Okay, I'd like to start out with saying that I have Samsung note 10 plus. I may even be in the wrong forum for this question, which I apologise in advance.
I really need you guys help. I'm not sure if it's something I did having installed the app Package Disabler, (and mostly disabling things that I felt were Samsung bloated apps)
but after I did this and restarted my phone, the keyboard is missing. Now, I can't input my password to open my phone. I've Googled around and found some solutions, but they're all dated back in 2017 and things have changed since then.
1. using a wired keyboard or a micro USB adapter just to use it to access the keyboard part which would allow me to open up my phone since my phone hasn't a keyboard at the moment.
2. My only option now is the emergency call button. One suggestion was to dial #211 and that would miraculously do the trick. People were raving about that one, but then again that post was from 2017. lol! I tried it and got nada.
3. I even tried the wipe cache partition and that still doesn't work. I don't want to master reset my phone AGAIN. I just updated it, two ago.
Do you have any other suggestion???

Firstly ,
if you have read some of my previous post, i have warned about the possibility that disabling ,
apps eg with a package disabler , can have a "knock on" effect .
Anyway ,disabling what is bloat to you, can be linked to another device function/ system app ??
This is the reason i stopped using a package disabler .
The knock on effects can be various .....??
eg ..system apps can be corrupted or not working .. excessive battery drain ....etc
Nowadays , I only disable apps in the Device/Settings /Apps/....
All i can suggest is ..if you can ??/ ..enable all the apps you disabled with the Package disabler
Double check that you have and maybe do a "clean" factory reset afterwards .???
Do not import any backed up Device settings or data ..as it could have been corrupted
Good luck .

Phone hacked

I need help identifying what app or setting got me into this mess.
I think the hacker has adb access.
He shuts down apps.. etc
He is messing with the notifications.. i get ony a few. Sometimes they come in late.
I have made reset from samsung setting and the boot menu, AND I INSTALLED A NEW ROM (the one for my phone) WITH ODIN. Still the issue resurfaces.
I think my roomate installed smthg in it. He is on the house wifi and he is got a degree in networking (i think thats what it's called, we study in french in my country)
Please i need help.
If someone needs any further details, please ask.
Avoid the wifi network you suspect your hacker friend is on, reinstall the rom downloaded on another network and stay on 4G and see if it still happens? Also suspect your PC to be hacked...
Thx for replying,
I did format my pc but i have connected it to house wifi.. didn't notice anything out of order though.
I found out about the "Revoke USB debugging authorisations" option in Developer Options. I think it is working.
Today, since i made a new instagram account, i added a mutual friend. Turns out it was an old and lost account, and thats when i got the error from the video.
Fortunately, i fixed it by un.following the account and clearing the app storage.
I need to know what access does he have?
Can't upload the video, here's some shots.
Look no further than yourself for the cause of this... one way or another.
RX: Factory reset, change Google account password.
Stop with the social media crap and go mingle with real people.
This not about social media, it's about getting my phone back.
With my old account, I couldn't even talk to my messenger friend. Today, thats like having your phone number unreachable all the time, frustrating.
Please if you don't want to help don't, but no need for quick unhelpful replies.

How was it compromised?
Understand if it was compromised it's more than likely because you left yourself vulnerable to attack.
A compromised OS needs to be cleaned or wiped... I gave you the solution(s).
No need to say thanks but don't give me lip about your screw ups.
Thank you.
I tried factory reset more than 10 times, different ways. No luck.

Reflash the firmware especially if it is Oreo or below.
If it's not embedded in the firmware, it's being added by you albeit inadvertently.
Your Achilles heel is social media... don't be so predictable. Break the link in the chain.
None of the social apps should be running on the device, they are malware. At least keep them in the cloud.
Email must always be kept in the cloud and any attachments downloaded from it scruntinized or preferably not downloaded at all. All downloads are suspect.
At this point your data base is suspect as well.
Insanity is doing the same thing over and over, expecting a different result.

Unless someone physically got their hands on it, there's no known way the Android 11 stock factory image can be compromised by a rootkit or virus. A factory reset is all that is needed.
The problem happened after the reset.

That is exactly what i suspect did happen. I often leave my phone home and my pattern is known for him.
How can i undo a modification of that level.
(I intend to go to a phone repair shop and install new soft with the "box". Is this recommended or is it a bad idea)

Never leave a phone physically unsecured as that's the only real security there is.
You need to have the firmware reflashed then be careful what you put back on it.
Change all your passwords and use secure passwords.
I ithink i this is the problem.( in the pic below)
There was an app called android device.. don't know if this is normal. So i deleted it and restarted and things are back to normal.
Sorry i can't upload the image, the app closes automatically.
